Costa Coffee in Tameside

This Costa was new a couple of years ago and got off to a poor start with constantly dirty tables. Has improved since. Staff are friendly and efficient, but the some of the 2 year old chairs are badly stained and not very inviting for customers.

The Costa on the Snipe Ashton, is the best around Tameside. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Especially the manager. He's so helpful and upbeat. The drinks are made far better and filled to the top, not like other Costas. Great selection of food. Staff are always busy working and keeping the tables clean. A great atmosphere to relax and enjoy your drinks.

A Great Costa Coffee site on the Snipe Retail Park. Plenty of parking on site. Staff are really friendly. Fast service. Site has inside and outside seating. Disabled parking close to doors. Great for a drink and something to eat either before or after your shopping trip. More items on the menu. Drive through ordering. Food options have expanded.

Service is brilliant, coffee is made perfectly! The place is clean and tidy maintained ! Do recommend if in the area!

I ordered a bacon and chicken toast and I just cannot believe what I’m looking at paid £5 for something that’s definitely not worth that money

Drive through as normal, made my order drove off to main road on my journey to open my cake ..on feeling the packaging it was right went to get it out was small than normal then was really Stale i, had to drive back, on pulling up was greeted and said i have 2 complaints, first the size not right...replied...well i dont cut them there's nothing can Do...ok no problem i said..next issue its stale , replied...well we have a shelf date ,, i asked did you not feel how hard it was, replied,,,,no its still in shelf date do you want another , ...is it a new fresh 1... no im note getting a new 1 out its all the same,,,thanks costa myself spend well over £100 a week as i travel, think my business going else where ,, advice...talk to customers fairly and treat peace how you do.. how she working with customers like that good for business,, bad day maybe but i dont pay for stale or stale attitude

Having to wait over ten minutes for a drink as 'someone wasn't in so they were giving their friends drinks for free' doesn't really work for me

Are used to like this place , but I can’t really attend anywhere that supports the genocide and the arms Industry

Busy location but nice and clean staff could streamline a little more milk being thrown everywhere today haha

Great service, very clean and friendly

I normally go to the Costa near Cineworld. I was disappointed with this one, though. I had a pot of tea. I had to take the cup back as there were remnants of the previous drinks. The barrister gave me another cup, but no apology, which was disappointing customer service. The cushioned chairs were looking tired and well used at the top of them. I needed the toilet, which was occupied, so I used the disabled toilet. Above the toilet tank lid, there was a complete mess of something removed and not covered up. The toilet brush was shall I politely say, not something I would want to handle. On the plus side, the overall cleanliness was good. But I shall stick with the Costa near Cineworld, as this one left a lot to be desired.

You've been to B&Q, you just want a nice brew, this is right on the carpark. Only had coffees here so far but it's really nice.

I love Costa hot chocolate’s. Better than Starbucks but this branch always seems rubbish every time I’ve been! Hot chocolate’s aren’t chocolatey at all, tastes like it’s come out of a machine at the service station.

Called in for a coffee ,cake and reusable Costa Coffee flask.service great with a smile, sat outside on the benches found to be wet through so ended up leaving with a wet patch, the design of the overhead freestanding roof , rain drips of the roof so wetting the benches. Otherwise lovely and clean, well stocked even though it was rather late in the day 5pm. Just next time will sit in X

Rarely use Costa packet as I think it's pricey but they can make a nice brew.

Nice clean place, good staff and excellent service.

Such friendly staff, even told me the same sandwich I had chosen was available with 50% off if I wanted to change it, now you don't get told that often. Drinks were made spot on, even with the right sprinkles on, don't always get them at the nearest Costa I use to home. Find the staff here very helpful and friendly and it always looks very organised, it's open till 8pm which is even better! Lovely garden area as well, wouldn't know it was in the middle of a retail park.

Most of the staff are brilliant but when I was queuing an elderly lady was short changed and the staff member behind the counter was talking to her very unprofessional saying the elderly woman was incorrect but she was 100% correct, the woman serving had to ask another colleague to come over and explain to the elderly woman that she was wrong but in fact she sorted it out and said the woman was correct, the other rude colleague was still trying to explain to her that she was in the right very very poor customer service on her behalf but other than that my experience was ok

Lovely place to have a hot coffee and tasty treats, very cosy decor on the inside and spacious seating area outside. Michael is a great staff member and is very friendly and welcoming. Hope to come back to this branch soon!

This place is usually great. The staff are lovely and friendly but they have had staff shortages which have effected the opening times recently. The advertised time on costa website is quite out. Not eaten there so can't comment on the food, but the drinks are always prepared as asked, and the staff work to get the drinks out as quickly as possible.

Great place at Snipe Retail park Costa , very friendly lady in the drive through. I went 10 mins before closing and asked for a frappe which she made with a friendly smile. Thank you 😀

Very good coffee and a good choice of cakes

It's very good but just one person who takes the order there It's not very good doing the job how should be. It's not happened just one time but 2 times and I hope next time is going to learn how to do properly the job.the coffee is very good, I think is the best costa coffee in all costa coffees.

I honestly love coming to this Costa. Every time I come (through drive-through) the staff are so lovely and just make my day a little bit better. They're cracking jokes, smiles all around. Great service every time. I hope they are being recognised for it x

Love this place, I use the drive thru mostly, they even know my order usually and always have a laugh. This is the best Costa, it’s clean, well stocked and the staff are fab ! I love that I can get a Puppacino for my dog too.

I came in today and the place was so busy, as to be expected at 12pm on a Saturday on a retail park! I had to wait a little for my drink but while I stood waiting, I observed every single employee was working flat out, and they all still had a friendly smile for everyone. High stress environment and all of them kept their composure and delivered 5 star service to every customer. Despite the wait it was really amazing to see how the staff worked together to get the job done, really great team work! And my hazelnut cappuccino was delicious. A very clean coffee shop with a great atmosphere and committed staff providing an excellent service. Will definitely be back.

Service a little slow but friendly staff

Good selection of cakes sandwiches and drinks the only thing that has let it down was there was quite a few dirty tables with cups etc on even the sugar station someone had put a tray there so they could use a table. There was 4 people behind the counter so surly one should keep on top of the seating area.

Needs more staff at busy period. No-one to clear the tables and sweep floor and queue very long and didn't move fast

Not a bad resting place when shopping on the snipe. It's a Costa so prices are average for Costa. Service is good in less busy times & it has a relaxing atmosphere when it's not hammered. It's mainly a drive thru so there's limited space inside, but it is cosy. The menu could be a little easier to read though 🌸

Service seemed good on arrival. However ordered an oat milk hot chocolate and believe I was given cows milk. The guy serving was nice enough but had a headset on and was doing multiple things. I'm lactose intolerant and can digest a little but not a big glass of milk. Had symptoms since yesterday evening, stomach cramps and loose stool. Everyone else in the family is fine so believe I've had a contaminated drink. Just what a breastfeeding mama needs! 👍

Nice costa, has all the usual drinks, snacks etc you would find in the other stores, like all other Costa's not cheap, we bought two cold drinks (frappes) and it cost £8.50, so not cheap, be aware of this if you have not been in before.

Good coffee, do wish the tables would get cleared a bit quicker I was there around 50 minutes and tables were cleared only by customers wishing to use them.

Called into Costa Coffee in Snipe retail Park Audenshaw today with my two sons. We ordered a large latte, Vanilla Latte and a hot chocolate. The young girl put the order onto a tray left it on the counter, not saying whether the order was complete, or pushing them towards us. She left the counter and walked away to serve at the drive through. We had to ask if the order was ready. A second girl, shouted to the girl who had served us originally to ask if the order was ready. She shouted back it was. My son asked which was the Vanilla latte to be told one of them is and she laughed. The second girl then smelt both lattes! Needless to say, Costa needs to train their staff in hospitality hygiene!

Just wanted to say Andrew at the drive thru has made our Costa experience. Everytime we go through drive thru and Andrew is on shift he is extremely positive, happy and just all round friendly. Amazing staff member. Really brightened mine and my partners day. Thankyou Andrew :)

Store was quiet and very clean. A large range of toasties and sandwiches available as well as varied cakes. Also plenty of other things to buy. Staff were very polite and helpful. Plenty of free parking.

Staff here are great make you feel really welcome

The staff who were on yesterday were amazing! A friend and myself went through the drive through about 12.30 yesterday and the staff around 4 of them, were chatty, friendly and really lovely. We drove out and said to one another that's how every shop should be 👍

Called in for a coffee at 3pm today to be told the store was closing. The opening hours advertised do not reflect the actual opening hours, was really disappointed especially with all of the other shops on the retail park still open

It was nice staff friendly no issues

Service is slow they took orders they couldnt fullfill but for a long wait, sloppily made drinks and no attention paid to order on the slip.

Today they were turning away customers. They kept the drive through open, but closed for walk in and take away due to staff shortages when they could have simply cordoned off the tables and still provided some sort of take away service. I'm the 5 minutes I was there they lost SEVEN walk in customers, without a single drive through.

For the 3rd time we have visited past 8am, we have found this costa closed, even though on the door it’s advertised as open at 7am! Terrible service from a brand new store.

Really helpful and patient considering I was a complicated customer trying to use an e-gift card, wanted oat based drink and didn't know how to use my app! Lovely clean and spacious coffee shop. Several staff stepping over themselves trying to help each other.
