Popped in 4 mins to closing "Jake" was super friendly and jolly. Made us drinks and gave us some mini gingerbread men. He was so lovely. This man needs a promotion.

Nipped to amesbury Costa on a quiet Friday evening. A lovely gentleman named Jake served us. What can I say he went above and beyond to make us feel super special. Gave us a couple of extra chocolates on our drinks. 5 star service. Well done Jake.. you've made our evening 😁😁

I have been a very loyal customer to Costa and particularly this branch. Having to wait 25 minutes for a drink is ridiculous. It’s like they have been growing the coffee beans!!!!

What’s the point of posting opening Hours if it’s not being followed. Shops door is closed, but people working inside to serve drive by only. Such a waste of people’s time who have taken the time to get here.

Just been in to the Costa in Solstice park. Waited approximately 5-10 mins. Not even an acknowledgement, service was non existent. One girl making drinks, one carrying items around No one else waiting, just us. We left and went elsewhere. Even a 'won't keep you a minute' would have made us stay. Please think about your customer base. Shocking.

Drive through was straightforward, service was well mannered and order was made correctly and efficiently. We come here weekly and haven't had a problem yet.

This Costa is very close to the A303, and is popular with locals and travellers taking a break before facing up to the inevitable traffic jam past Stonehenge. On any Summer or Bank Holiday weekend it becomes extremely busy, and a people watching paradise! The staff are friendly and work very hard, particularly in those busy periods. The car park is fairly small ( please note my update below ) Outside is a seating area overlooking the car park. There is a drive thru but having never used it, I can’t comment. I really like this place, but the only thing which lets it down are the woefully inadequate restroom facilities....and considering the footfall through here....is a bit of a design fault in what otherwise is a pleasant building. Standard Costa products as expected. As an update to this review...the statement I made with regard to parking at Toby Carvery is no longer valid. Be warned, there are now anpr cameras covering that car park...with parking fines for non customers.

Really slow internet. Imposible to work. Can't even load a website, let alone send email or do video calls.

We arrived at 7pm to partake of a lovely Costa Coffee whilst waiting for our car to charge. However, upon reaching the entrance of Costa we find it closed, despite stating on the door, that it is open from 6am until 8pm. We were very disappointed but MacDonalds were not as they received our custom instead.

Be aware the cafe shuts at 7pm, not the 9pm stated on this site nor the 8pm written on the door. Polite staff but rubbish management communication. Did not bother ordering as had wanted to sit in what is a nice setting.

Bought a reusable flask as always on the road, cost £15. Twice now I've been driving along after a refill and the lid shoots off like a projectile around the car , 2nd time hitting me in the face while driving, very dangerous

Excellent service from lady taking orders, but male barista was a bit too cool for school and not listening to instructions. Incorrectly marked location on map (submitted edit). Decent vegan options from standard costa food ranges.

Just called in for a coffee break but this ideally located spot, just minutes from the A303, came up trumps. Good coffee & range of snacks, comfortable, clean & welcoming seating area and so friendly. It will become one of our go-to stops on long journeys :)

I visited a couple of weeks ago for a coffee and toastie. I was served by Jen who was an absolute credit to the company, she was genuinely friendly and very efficient at her job. The coffee and toastie were both very good, but they were soon forgotten about after I had finished them, unlike the outstanding service I received from Jen.

Really nice Costa coffee, large seating area and really spacious. Got a Drive Thru too that helps keep the inside quiet and reduce queues. Staff are really cheerful and high spirited. It shows they run a great team. Really clean and tidy environment.

Who doesn't love a Costa!! Had a de-caff latte, quick and friendly service.

We went through the drive through, greeted by a nice voice asking what we would like to order. We ordered the hazelnut hot chocolate with cream and then we went to the next window to get our drinks. Been to this costa a few times over the time it’s been there and it’s always been a great experience, the staff are always kind and nice lovely to talk to, went in today (06-11-23) and the two who served me where very nice and kind definitely will be going back.

Drive through experience was very good. Chose the medium latte and bacon bap offer. Very nice.

Nice and local but there always seems to be lots of flies on and around cakes so only have wrapped biscuits.

I visited the drive thru this morning ahead of a long journey. The dark haired young lady who served and made our drinks had a very professional yet friendly approach, the service was very speedy despite a busy period - with what looked to be very few staff. Will be returning on future journeys!

A decent place for a coffee break on the A303

A good stopover on the A303, always friendly and typically nice drinks served well.

I often stop here after visiting friends in Hampshire. Lovely coffee (ovs!) and good sweet treats to tempt indulgence. Usually, I use the drive thru, so I'm not sure about the inside, but the staff are always polite and helpful.

Typical costa they have all shops taken their foot off the pedal, they still think theirs is the best but they need to keep shops tidier clean the material seats vlearcaway tables and wash them off properly. Justvseems they just don't care anymore. I would love to be a PM regional manager, I would kick some backsides, Every manager should want their shop to be the best, but it seems to much trouble.

Staff are extremely friendly, coffee always great. My son, who is a picky eater, tried my cheese and ham toastie, decided he would eat half of mine and then wanted his own for in the car travelling home.

Very good branch! Prompt service despite Drive Thru being busy. Well worth a visit if both parts of Starbucks at Fleet services westbound can't be bothered to open when you happen to be there...!!!

Curious how different costa branches can sell the exact same product for varying prices … should this be the case or is this just another excuse to take advantage and jump on the price hike bandwagon? One drink in the midlands cost £3.45, here I was charged £4.10 for the extract drink… last week the same drink here cost £4.00…surely all drink prices should be the same no matter which costa you visit.

Situated on a small retail park, parking could be challenging as quite a small car park right next to McDonalds as well. Disputing the extrajudicial only had 1 unisex toilet for customers (other then baby changing/ disabled facility).

Staff are super helpful and friendly. As I am disabled they carry my order to the table with no issues.

No ice, machine broken so no iced drinks for the last few days, no idea how long it will be for. Should put up a sign before you get into the queue either instore or Drive thru.

I was served Toast on a dirty plate... There was a misunderstanding at the till with a trainee which I was absolutely fine with but to serve toast on a dirty plate is appalling...they were not even busy. Unfortunately this is my local Costa and I have had nothing but mistakes since I moved here just over a year ago. The manager Beverley on a previous visit was treating her staff very poorly during a busy period in front of the customers which made us collectively uncomfortable...the poor youngster Ruby was doing a wonderful job considering how awful the manager was being!!

Convenient place to get a coffee that opens early in the morning and has a drive through.

Worst Costa I’ve Known, never open when they say they should be, freezing pipes is a constant excuse, always get drinks wrong, never put sugar in when you ask for it, in all honesty, I’d just close and let a professional company take the premises…. There closed more than there open….

Quick and friendly service. The girl behind the counter advised me to have the whipped cream separately from the mocha cortado otherwise it would have been a smaller measure in the cup. Great service.

Opening hours on the door clearly show 9pm close time. Staff inside still serving drive thru customers but the doors were locked at 8.30pm. When we enquired via the drive thru intercom we were told rather abruptly that the shop had closed at 8pm and the hours (on the pedestrian entrance) were for the drive thru only. We came away empty handed and went to another establishment. Costa needs to update its published hours if these are incorrect or retrain its staff if that is where the problem lies. **update on Sunday evening- cafe has again locked its doors at 6pm, an hour before the published closing time (both on Google and as advertised beside the doors) Costa please sort this out, you are losing business to next door businesses and it there is nothing more frustrating than having staff staring at customers through locked doors!

Poor customer service and also couldn’t give a different option when their ice machine was working and that seems to be every time I visit

The only issue is, the air conditioning system was on and it was very cold, another person did point the issue out to one of the members of staff,

Very friendly and engaging staff our barrista Lorna was very knowledgeable about the different drinks as we couldn't make up our mind what we wanted to order 10/10 will definitely be back.

I'm not a coffee addict but we had an enjoyable latte and tasty cake. The lady server was very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Just what was required having been disappointed by the local Greggs which didn't measure up.

No longer do filter coffee which is annoying. Otherwise it was fine

I visited Costa Coffee in Amesbury at 12.45am on 11th September 22 and I witnessed a young girl working for you, was ridiculed by three members of staff. She could have only been 16 years old. She was crying and having breathing problems because they made her cry, she was having a panic attack. A few customers tried to calm her down, whilst these three members of staff were taking the micky out of her in front of the customers. I will not be visiting your store again, as I am absolutely disgusted by the way a 16 year old girl working for you has been treated in that manner. I will be writing to your head office as well about this matter and if the girl concerned has any sense, do not work for this company. Many thanks Naomi

By far the best costa I have been to! Staff so friendly and really efficient.

Ok to grab a coffee and read a book for a bit to escape. Tables are often dirty and not been cleared.

Rather pay one pound in mcdonalds for just as nice cappuccino

The toilets here were dirty and grim. Table areas not the cleanest and generally put off the establishment.

i have been to a few costa shops and i must say this is the best one ive been to. and i dont really leave review for coffee shops but i think this team deserves to to be recognised. i've been to this particular costa twice in the last week due to a road trip i have. its was busy on my first visit and i must i was really impressed with the efficiency with the store, everyone knew what they were doing. for example till staff and the barista, there was clear communication between the 2 of them so the barista knew exactly what was missing and what was coming up next. if you can keep your toilets clean, you know the rest of your shop will be on point. during my visit, i witness a team member cleaning the toilets and evidently, this was reflected in the shop floor cleanliness. during my second visit, it was a lot quieter so i didn't witness the efficiency as such but the cleanliness of the store was consistent! the quality of drink is down do the costa menu. it would be good to revisit the sizes of the coffee recipes, sometimes i feel like im drinking a large cup of warm milk when i order a small latte. in my opinion i dont think i coffee should be like this.

We often stop at this Costa when travelling to/from family in Devon and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The loos are clean, although I wish there was more! Parking is often difficult as it shares spaces with Mcdonalds but the drive thru always moves fairly quickly.

Contact is Costa tbh but Amesbury seems to be the best one around

May as well drive by and throw your money out of the window. Service is about as hit and miss as a blind man throwing a rock at a cat. This location would do well to employ and older work force as the teens on shift scarcely listen to your order as the do their parents. Keep driving to weyhill services instead.

Costa coffee Amesbury, staff always chatting to each other on their headsets not paying attention to customers. Coffee ok but not great, room layout not good for conversation, far too loud so you have to shout almost to be heard, car park awful to park in. Overall ok but not great

We stopped for a coffee today on the way home to Devon . I was delighted to see the happy enthusiastic attitude of your staff . They were all really on top of the job, cheerful smiling faces, quick service and I am delighted to recognise it. They are a credit to your company and it was clear to see how well they all got on together .

Friendly and efficient service, the children reliably informed me that the ham and cheese toasties were delicious. Toilets were clean and spacious with great hand driers! 👍

Nice comfy place to stop and have a coffee. Service a bit slow but it was popular, on a Saturday lunchtime.

I was verbally insulted by the short, blonde-haired member of staff who was constantly picking on me whilst I was placing my order. I do not belive that I should scream the whole place down in order to be heard, just because I am wearing a face mask! The very member of staff is the one who kept on getting my order wrong(!) which I do believe has something to do with my foreign accent! After finally getting my order right(!) she even dared to comment on the private conversation I was having on my mobile phone to her colleague who was preparing my order after eavesdropping...She clearly lacks the level of professionalism, knowledge and expertise therefore I would advice her superiors to place her on a continuous professional development (We call it a CPD in the academic world.) courses on customer service, equality and diversity, anti-bullying as well as communication skills. I had been to this particular Costa many times before as a passing the time place, due to waiting for my child to finish her gymnastics in the area every week however after being insulted verbally as a 'paying customer' by this despicable lady, I would never return there with or without my family and friends and I would strongly advise those who have a non-native English accent to be weary of the hostile behaviour they may face by this particular member of staff who clearly thinks too highly of herself to serve tea and coffee to foreign nationals and takes out her frustrations on vulnerable people like me who clearly cannot even have a private conversation on their phone without being invaded, targeted, picked on, hassled, bullied etc.

Really not happy with the service we got for the staff team at amesbury Costa to day ever rude we ask for a too drinks and went and sat down to have your drinks and then the staff came up to us and sand we are closing now so could you coffee in to take away cups and we had to do that and told us to get out when we got out there look the door be hide us and we sat out side having your drinks and we saw the staff talking about us and keep looking at us... 😡 So wot be coming back to amesbury Costa and wot be recommending to any one to have a drink thee to.....so ever unhappy with it .......😡😡😡😡😡😡

Came here for a coffee only to be told they are shutting the sit in side of the shop. 11:27Am. When asked why I was told by a very rude and abrupt member of staff that they are too busy and can't manage both the drive through and the shop side. Very poor indeed who thought making coffee was so taxing. Mcdonald's it is then at least they can provide a service. Also the bin outside was filled twice over. Very poor service.

You know its pretty much the same experience in each and every Costa so you know what your getting .
