Costa Coffee in Manchester

My visit started off well, coffee is amazingly done for costa as they're always disgusting and burnt tasting however they know how to make a coffee here. The problem was the service was abrupt and what seemed to be the manager was rude, while having a conversation he just blurts out to us not to eat anything that is from Tesco, I was lightheaded as I suffer from anemia and needed something. It was not called for the way he said it, I could see him peeking over at us before he did yell out at us. It really ruined the visit. I'll avoid here from now on unfortunately

Called in for a coffee today and was greeted with a smile by Ali. My drink was made quickly and served to me with another smile. Then, when he walked past me, he checked to see whether everything was ok 👍🏻 A1 service, a smile costa's nothing but makes a difference to someone's day 😂

Great coffee, great food, friendly staff. Just wish Costa wasn't so expensive.

Went this morning and received amazing customer service. The Greek gentleman making the coffees was very friendly and so efficient! The lady at the till was very nice too. The food and coffees were very nice. Highly recommended this costa coffee!

Nanna visit with 3 grandchildren to Tesco Parrs Wood Costa. Pleasant helpfully staff with good choice of 🎂 cakes, plenty of room for a trolley.

Just wanted to say to the young man serving this morning (April 19th) was absolutely fab! Super attentive and positive 🙌 The displays were fully stocked and presented lovely too 🍰 Nice to see someone take pride in their work 😊 Thank you!

Fantastic staff at costa Tesco east Didsbury .. I’ve been in a few times now and the staff are so lovely especially Adam, Ali and Jen they know my order as soon as I come in and have it ready for me .. just brilliant service and they always have a smile on there faces it’s refreshing .. would definitely recommend it’s the best costa I’ve been to and the store is immaculate ..

I am very disappointed with the service we received on Saturday. If there was a minus star, I could have used - . We found 2 members of staff who told us not to seat on specific area because they were short staffed. I asked why as there were other people sat there already and I wanted the comfy chairs on the end. The staff Insisted that we sit on the front side which didn’t have our preference seats . We had our meal, cleaned the table for ourselves and sat down. There were three available tables on our secluded area however, other customers were not sitting there. We sat there in dis believe as 12 costumers came and sat EXACTLY where were asked NOT to sit including one whom they physically searched on the table. I asked the 2 ladies before I left why this had happened, I did get very offended as we were both female from the BME community and all those who sat on the area we were told NOT to sit were all from the majority community. I questioned why there was no sign informing customers not to sit there and one lady said that they were about to put it up!!! One hour after we were told not to sit. I can call this inequality, discrimination, belittling and not being given the service as a customer. My sister and I did inform the staff that I will be expecting to hear from the manager and I guess an apology could go a long way. Very disappointed that in this day and age we still have to experience this kind of service and mot of all Costa.

Must mention that the service from Irene today was great, makes such a difference.

Weekend staff need more training definitely. Had a latte today and it was just milk as if someone had forgot to put the coffee in!

Great with the regular staff. But rubbish at weekends never ever get a full cup they need re training.

It's not too spacious if you come on a weekend, but come weekday it's good enough. Staff is good and efficient as well

The manager for such a young lady is outstanding professionally. This lady has excellent customer service skills. Obviously respects the people she is managing. The whole experience in there is a welcoming experience. If she is having a bad day I for one have never seen it portrayed across the counter or with the staff by her. So patient. Carries trays for people. Very helpful and informative. Cannot do enough to help you. Does not frown when my grandchildren make a mess which is often. I do not have to ask for my order. She knows it off by heart as do her staff. The staff members are all of the above. Just a lovely team overall. Words cannot express my gratitude to all of these lovely people. My children call in for take aways and always have something nice to say about their visit. She is a credit to your company.
