I like it the staff are helpful, cakes and coffee are nice and it's a nice atmosphere.

As a regular customer at Costa Coffee I find all of their shops at a very high standard

Me and my partner had nipped in to have a warm drink as it was raining. The drinks were done straight away, served hot which was lovely. The staff were brilliant and friendly, explained the drinks that were available. Will most definitely be returning

The Barista in this branch in Stockport made an abs delicious, decaf capp! The staff were very quick, efficient and friendly.

The quickest Chai Latte I’ve ever seen made, they don’t mess around here. The atmosphere is off though and it suffers from the messy tables and chairs scenario.

Great Costa. Fabulous staff and great coffee.

It usually gets very busy here and I have waited some time in the que before now. It feels quite small and compact and it could probably get away with been a larger unit due to it's town centre location. Apart from that, it is a normal Costs outlet. They are generally all the same.

Awful experience.Staff shouting at each other and it was not busy at all. it was quite dirty the floor was a mess . Staff were unfriendly and mopping floors and seeming to be shutting up 2 hours before closing time. Not a pleasant experience.

Bad experience. Staff not really interested in serving chatting amongst themselves. A child of a staff member was dashing around the shop, very distracting. Trying to close areas down 2 hours before closing. Won't be returning in a hurry

Man who served me needs a lesson in customer service. Seemed like a chore to serve me, as well as slagging off another customer when she complained that she got given the wrong item. More interested in drinking his own coffee than helping his colleagues make orders. Poor girls doing everything and getting stick off of him too!

Always busy in here. Service was quick and staff very friendly.

Waited in the queue for about 10 minutes, in which time it had moved forward only by one customer, whilst waiting I had a good view of behind the counter. The floor was atrocious, filthy, coffee grounds everywhere, squashed paper cups, spilt drinks and bits of rubbish. The bit that really did it for me was the plastic bags of milk that they use, on the floor, and repeatedly touched by the shoes of the employees. If I'm paying such a high price for the coffee, I don't really want floor milk laced with grime off the soles of several pairs of shoes. Yuk. I often go to Costa, but I had to question myself, why am I in here, spending so much cash, as lets face it, it isnt cheap, when I can walk straight out the door, up onto underbank, and go to somewhere like Rhode Island, where I'm greeted with a smile and friendly hello, and get a perfectly made coffee, exactly the way I like it, which I can then enjoy in a much calmer and more inviting atmosphere than the chaos down the street at Costa.

Horrendous service. 4 people behind the counter and yet it took 20 mins to get served. Staff don't have a clue what was ordered, what had already been made, or what service actually means

Terrible experience. This store was obviously under staffed, which wasn’t any fault of the hard working staff there. However, there were some serious concerns. One- the floor was filthy with rubbish and spilt drinks (see photo). Two - I noticed that whilst there were separate implements (serving tongues and knives) for meat and non-meat products for the oven, all the implements were stored together side by side and the oven was used for both meat and veggie (at the same time too) - not acceptable. The waiting time was bad - we waited over 25 minutes in the queue and then gave up and went elsewhere.

I love Costa coffee so much, the ham and cheese toastie is amazing and the hot chocolate is the best hot chocolate I've ever had

We ordered a hot chocolate and a latte I paid and stood to one side awaiting our drinks 5 people got served and took there drinks , whilst these people were being served your barrista had asked us 4 times what we had ordered I repeated this 4 times , in the end I asked why our drinks were not being made the reply I got was she was waiting for the receipt that should of been given after I had paid , even though she had asked 4 times what we had ordered then carried on serving the 6th person still leaving us stood there , I then said why do you keep asking us what we have ordered then serving others to which her reply was DO YOU WANT REFUNDING my reply was I would like my drink that I paid for 30 mins ago , I will never use this place again they were ignorant and extremely rude , customer service is zilch

We nipped in around 5.40pm they close at 7pm. Told straight away no hot food and only takeaway cups. Which was fine for us but it wasn't the nicest opening. We got 2 coffees and 2 cake came to £14. We sat down and while we were there we saw multiple people denied/turned away wanting hot food. Some left some order something else but it was so awkward. I only saw 2 staff one serving other cleaning. Including hoovering under us while we were trying to drink our coffees. I get they want to get our on time and could understand if it was 15/30 minutes before close but it was well over an hour when we got there till close.

One of the members of staff is so, so rude and loves to snatch the money out of your hands! 👎🏼

Poor hygiene cold drinks over priced.

Really can't fault the food or the service of the staff at all. However, the decor and hygene of the place is way overdue a lick of paint, not to mention all the air condition vents are absolutley disgusting. The filters need replacing asap. The photos dont only prove this but i observed dust particles from the overloaded filter breaking off onto the expososed food below. Personal hygene has to be number one in public spaces and this is a let down. The more i looked the worse it got. I wont mention the toilets. Again cant fault thr hard working staff. Not their fault......or is it?

Really slow service and nothing I could eat except for crisps. First and last visit for me.

Confusion over our order we ha dto repeat ourselves as it appeared the staff member didnt listen to what we ordered therfor got our order wrong.

No frappes sadly, so I had a ginger bread latte. Was actually lovely. Nice place, not loud and chaotic like most coffee shops, but still busy.

I look at the pre packed food and cakes , changed my mind ..So expensive. The service and atmosphere is always good 👍

Just dropped in for a quick coffee. Place was quiet at the time and I was not there long enough to form a significant impression.

Simply filthy, food and discarded plastic bottles all over the floor, tables filthy, coffee prep are filthy. Largely ignored by staff.

Visited today and had a lovely Mocha with a Caramel Waffle biscuit

The service was slow and my cup was chipped and we weren't given spoons. It seemed run down and not as clean and fresh as it is in other branches

Coffee was nice, chocolate cake was a bit dry, but carrot cake was great 👍, the lad serving wasn't very friendly but was polite.

Today we went to this branch with two other people, unfortunately the quality was very low and all our orders were cold. Even though it was 5 o'clock and there was an hour left until the branch closed, they delivered our orders to us in a container outside, and when we asked to clean our table, which was very dirty, they gave us a paper towel and told us to clean it yourself. I really regret going to this branch and I feel like I wasted my money.

The coffee was worse than dishwater. You need three shots of coffee at least for a cappuccino. It was the weakest ever!! The same for the rest of us at the table.

They have recently changed the counter and changed some of the walls

Not at all happy bought Mango bubbles it was absolutely rubbish. It was all watery. Not happy at all.I had to throw it away. Paid £4.50 for it. Its a lot off money.

Visited Friday morning about 11 ish two lattes they were cold we actually left them then we had cakes 1 lemon curd cake which was nice. The other a chocolate one was horrible very dry. For £13 it was just a waste of money. Costa coffee used to be the place to go. Not for me anymore.

Filthy floor looks like it had never been mopped tables not cleared need more staff (although staff working helpful ) whole place needs a refurbishment now very dated decor and furnishings gloomy inside need brightening up

Had a break in here today with a friend. 2 lads running the show on a very busy Sunday. They did a great job, massive queue, they stayed really calm and had so much going on. I was really impressed. We stayed until nearly closing and felt relief for them it finally went quiet. Well Done staffers! 👏

I did not get bubbles in my Bluberry Bubble Frapé, I didn't get a normal plastic cup, I got a messy cup of coffee, gave me ice tea in a paper cup, Watermelon & Mint I got in a paper cup, not correctly done flat white, not tided up cups before giving out, no ice latte which I came to get mainly, I do not recomend this place I could have walked a bit longer and got better things in the costa near TK Max

This lot need to sharpen up. They think it’s ok to close early and serve people with paper cups . The customer is king not an inconvenience . Won’t be calling again .

Staff member who served me was polite and efficient however number of staff were chatting behind the counter whilst the place was filthy. Many tables left covered in food and floor disgusting Did not try the toilets

Disappointed. Check your cutlery! Ordered 2 Cappuccino and cakes. Both teaspoons looked as though they'd never seen the inside of a dishwasher. Even the knife had dried food on it

Good choice of coffee disappointed that you have to have an app to get any benefits as I have a loyalty card but I can only collect the beans for a free coffee.

Interrupted me to move onto the next customer, the manager didn't care so rude the only reason it got 2 stars was for the food, but other than that I would have given it 0 stars

It was OK. Latte was fine but my friend had only a small amount of water in his tea pot. The sink broke so they closed up early. Otherwise it was OK.

After going Christmas food shopping decided jump in car on way back home went in here get hot chocolate myself Cappuccino for partner Took 20 minutes to make to drinks wouldn’t mind but mid morning not many people inside no drive thu after getting back into the car started to drive home taste of cappuccino gone off milk which went right though me when I got home Same happened to my partner few hours later Used Costa coffee s a lot in my job being delivery HGV driver this is first last time I will buy drink from here

I'm sorry but the staff need to be attentive to the length of the line and the time it takes to serve customers its is a slow process . I appreciate pannini take time to heat but how hard is it to comb the queue for coffee and cold confectionary customers

Coffees always nice Went last month and watched a mind member of staff help an elderly man work his phone even though it was really busy he took the time to be kind and I appreciate that. Service is always super efficient and it's always tidy

Absolutely diabolical. 20mins queuing. 3 customers orders completely messed up that had to be remade. Stood there for nothinf as I had to leave as I was late for an appointment. No apologies either. Shocking.

Very nice ambiance clean and pleasant staff enjoyed a latte and bacon barm cake will be going again when next in Stockport

It's got a great team and service is always great, I only have an issue with the store closing earlier than stayed online.
