Costa Coffee in Hyndburn

Unfortunately I found this visit to accy Costa very disappointing , A very poor atmosphere only made worse by the overly load staff cackling and making sure everyone could hear their stories making it impossible to have a quiet relaxing 20 minutes . This is not just me other customers also commented . Poor service

Another example of Google spying and still getting it wrong. I have indeed walked past, I have seen people drinking their hot beverages whilst eating. And I have noticed the scent of coffee wafting from the general direction. So I can confirm that Costa does indeed sell coffee and if past experience is anything to go by, it is vastly superior to the hot brown water that a well known fast food restaurant nearby sells under the same name.

I like the seasonal drinks and food but find items overpriced when the tables can be grubby,feel uncomfortable with dogs able to wander around and unpleasant the place also has a mates and baristas hanging out vibe.

I love coming here. Great atmosphere great staff.

Didn't give me the correct items. They knew they didn't have any rolls but still delivered without. Wrote on the receipt but still charged me though.

I am a regular customer of this Costa in Accrington as I find it to be quite a charming and fairly intimate little place. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the interiors are just as bright and cheerful. The variety of beverages and confectionaries on offer is notable and appetising. Yet it in no way diminishes the quality of service or of products on offer. I have never once been and not left feeling a great deal lighter and brighter.

Clean the toilets I literally had to ask To use disabled loo as the other was soaking wet if I’d have dropped my trousers they’d have ended up in piss. Entered the disabled toilet to see it exact the same but at least this one had less loo roll on the floor and some left in the dispenser

Disgusting place , all the varnish has come off the table ,chair upholstery is dirty , not a great deal of choice for cakes and extremely pricey nearly £4 for a small peice of cake never again 😕

Not a big fan of Costa Coffee it's to strong for my liking but if you like strong coffee this is the place for you at least in summer you can sit outside at the tables and chairs which is nice

just eat stated my order was delivered. no phone calls from courier and the food never arrived. absolutely appalling.

Very disappointed with a staff member cleaning by dragging tables and chairs across the floor and seemingly slamming them on the floor. Bit rude when I couldn't even hear what my friend was saying 🙄 Overpriced disappointment 😞

Not clean ,service is not good and tables are never clean,too much sat talking to each other and never enough stock on the place.

Nice place, love it on Sunday, nice and peaceful.. I work in retail and its a very busy place Monday to Friday, so i come here to chill and relax and it doesn't disappoint...

Went to meet my sister-in-law, it's a great place to meet family and friends.

Totally fed up with Accrington Costa closing much earlier than the advertised closing time , closed today at 14.45 rather than the 16.00 advertised time , some people go down to specifically meet friends there and have a coffee, after spending on a taxi to get there for it then to be closed over an hour early is terrible business in a already struggling climate

Was once again closed early, this happens almost once a week sometimes more, how can a business run like this especially in this climate, it's not fair to loyal customers who plan to meet up there just to arrive and it be closed over an hour before the actual closing time

Ordered 2 cappuccino Only one was cappuccino

the drinks had spilled all over the bag and the ice had melted and they taste horrible and we could not drink them , the driver was lovely though

Comfy and bright Costa, staff are professional and efficient and friendly. Food is ok if a bit expensive but overall pleasant.

Ordered a coconut milk cappuccino just now. She said "coconut milk latte" when she served it to me. I told her it was supposed to be a cappuccino. She said they're basically the same thing with an attitude and didn't offer to remake it. I wonder why they sell both cappuccinos and lattes if they're "basically the same thing"?

Delivery took alo g time and then one of the toasties I had been charged for was missing. Not great service and no way to contact Costa via the app. Would have preferred the item to be delivered rather than a refund. Also, the toasties I did get was barely warm. Poor, very poor.

This time which's a review for last week the food and service weren't great as the employee kept spilling my drink whilst making it so the the glass of gingerbread latte was full of drink and cream slime I wasn't able to take photos because it was sooo dirty I mentioned it to the employee when he came around to sweep and clean the tables and he bluntly said we don't make drinks so you take photos of them we make them so you can drink them but he also apologised and said he would try and make my drinks photo worthy next time which I was grateful for the atmosphere was great as always the coffee shop was bustling 🥰

Food was cold, order was wrong (toffee latte was missing, just a normal latte) & took half an hour longer than original estimated delivery time. I like Costa but shouldn't offer a delivery service if it can't be fulfilled effectively.

Great place, always friends helpfull staff, polite at all times ,can sit on your own and also feel at ease ,relaxed be lost without it great meeting place most people like to meet up here staff also work very hard to please and keep it clean place ,

It was good but why is 80% of the menu unavailable

It's always nice having a pit stop at Costa's however. On this occasion, someone had been to the one toilet in there and had an accident. I saw people who wanted to use the toilet walking over, opening the door. Retching and walking off. Could do wit a spare toilet

Called in for a cappuccino when it was raining,never been in before but will definitely go in again as the service was first class and the cappuccino was one of the best I have ever had.

Toastie was substituted without contact.

Only vegan food available to me was a packet of crisps. Disappointed.

Closed early , outside seats taken inside mis afternoon even though folk were sat outside, meant to be open until 5pm started cleaning and closing up at approx 3.30, only started happening recently, before was much better and closed at time advertised.

Absolutely pointless sending a frappe without a straw! It's mot exactly something I have in stock

Went in on my lunch from College, small queue, but served promptly. I tried the Iced Mocha..delicious..it was busy but nice atmosphere, great customer service.

Always a nice place for a coffee. Service based always been excellent and very friendly. Reasonable prices and always clean when I have been there

I didn't get my full order what I payed for

Toastie wasn't cooked, apparently you have to cook yourself, so pointless description which says toasted. No information to suggest you have to cook yourself. Latte was not hot, which I can only assume was because it was late by 20 mins due to the long period of time it took to assign a driver. I usually like Costa when purchasing in house, but the takeaway side is lacking.

Extremely slow service. Looked to be very short staffed. I really felt sorry for the poor girl on the coffee machine orders continued to pile up with nobody attempting to help her. 15 minutes for a toasty and flat white

I didn't receive my order. The delivery guy rang me said he was on a car park, he wasn't moving from there and asked me to go over to said carpark and asked me to collect order because he didn't know where I lived and wasn't moving. He hasn't delivered this items at all and should be sacked. I want a refund

Asked for a sausage butty but got a bacon one...THE HOT CHOCOLATE IS STONE COLD...how can you send that to a customer??? Jokers

Missing 2 items from order, white hot chocolate was just water and milk. By far the most over priced on just eat for what you get, ridiculous.

Poor service, most of the menu options were unavailable. Place is very dirty and employees doesn’t clean the tables. Even the tray they used to deliver our order was in terrible state. At least the coffee is tasty.

What lovely helpful staff, even my 10 year old daughter was impressed by the friendliness

Went into Costa in Accrington town centre today for an iced coffee there were 3 young lads working all of them were friendly and efficient with one constantly sweeping cleaning and interacting with customers what a lovely clean atmosphere 👍

Absolutely appalling. Shocking service, drinks served in takeaway cups for eating in. Dirty cutlery. Hot chocolates were cold and remade piping hot. Marshmallows really unappealing all stuck together and squashed. Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend.

The manager was great helping find a substitute for a food item that wasn’t available and that I wasn’t allergic to, thank you!

Order was placed at 10:10am it arrived 1hr later at 11: 10 not 11:04 as logged on app. The eta was ammened numerous times, all the food was cold! The drinks were sent in damaged cups and the marshmallows for the hot chocolate looked like they had been chewed and spat out Extremely disappointed

Today at 09.20am no brown toast, no white toast I went somewhere else when I came back 11.20am for a coffee they had no tea spoons, no napkins ?

The girl making the hot drinks was on her mobile then she dropped the coffee press on the floor and put it straight back on the tray without washing it.

Probably the worst Costa I've ever been to and I've been to Costa cafés across 3 different continents. * long queues * staff charging for whatever they feel like without asking size/type of drink * staff chatting to other customers for 10 mins leaving 1 colleague behind till * cold toasties by the time the drink is made * NO GREETING!
