Costa Coffee in Wandsworth

Popped in for a pint (and maybe dinner) on a quiet Sunday afternoon and was made to feel like I really wasn't welcome. When the bar person finally put down their phone and realised there was a customer waiting, they walked to the till logged in and looked at me without saying a word. I said 'hello' which led to a shrugged 'hi' which basically came across as 'get on with it, what do you want, let me get back to my phone'. Didn't stay for dinner

A lovely lunch firstly Sharing a Bill’s platter which was beautifully presented and tasty. My daughter and I both had steak which was cooked as we had asked. Vegetables were ordered separately which made it more expensive than it initially looked but all well cooked and presented. My husband had he pan fried chicken with wild mushroom sauce which was again well presented and tasty. The fact that Bill’s give a discount for BlueLightCard was an added bonus to a lovely meal - we were too full to sample desserts!

Been a few times now and each time the service has been so bad. The staff are rude and slow and have previously given the benefit of the doubt but on this occasion we were made to feel like an inconvenience just for going in and made to feel unwelcome. Would avoid.
