Costa Coffee in Camden

First of all the staff is one of the best in most costa stores i have seen. The problem with this store is theres always small flies flying around our tablets and foods.

A Costa’s a Costa but this one has a couple of things that set it apart, for better and for worse. On the positive side, the staff are really lovely. In a city where I consider myself fortunate to get a mere grunt of acknowledgment, the friendliness of the staff in here really stands out. On the negative side, there is a fly problem. No matter where I sit, small flies seem to swarm around me as if I were the proverbial faecal matter. A deep clean and some fly traps set overnight would surely sort the problem, but it’s been ongoing for at least a few weeks. Once they can keep flies out of my ointment (read: cappuccino), I will happily bump my star rating to a 4 or a 5.

Vincent and Emanuelle are amazing team .They are customer oriented, very knowledgeable for the vast range of drinks and very welcoming atmosphere at all times

Dirty building, gross tables, ordered a frappe tasted like chocolate water with ice 1 star.

The service was absolutely awful! Staff has attitude problems. I asked for salted caramel frape and got frape without salted caramel, when I asked why there is no salted caramel ? got told ,, I can add on top ‘’

It's a good branch this one. I like it. Been in a couple of times just recently. Haven't really tried much of the menu to be honest but what I've had has been good. Staff are good too. Not terribly big inside but it feels quite cosy, to me anyway. Hampstead is a nice area too so that helps a bit. Admittedly not cheap but I think most people know that going in.

Service was absolutely awful, especially this girl names Agnessa I believe, don't know how she was hired, has so much atitutude and is so rude to the customers, I felt ignored and when I was served there was just so much atitude she did not even smile once, no thank you nothing. There was no manager there that day otherwise I would have made a huge complaint. Costa really need to review their staff, because that service was unacceptable.

Super staff, professional and they get the drinks done perfectly. The tables are constantly cleared and the area is clean. The cleanliness of toilets are the only area that needs improvement. They are clean but used heavily so need to be cleaned more frequently. Overall it is a good place and a good Costa, with good staff.

I love the food and coffee and the staff here is very friendly and nice.

Stale pastry, flies everywhere and the state of the highchair nearly made me sick, especially the straps, which you HAVE to use to stop child falling out the bottom. Please get highchairs that don’t need straps!!! Without Starbucks down the road, this place should be better, not worse!

Went in on Friday 26th May just after 1pm. Was greeted by 2 friendly members of staff. They were really helpful and quick to make my coffee. The store itself a was super clean. Big thanks to the 2 members of staff working at the time as they were really kind.

I have free drinks and they say u are coming every day and u using your free drinks every day So they are not serving me 🖕🏻

Just had a pot of tea, at an inside table. Cash only, unable to collect Costa rewards either or a till receipt as some sort of issue. Perhaps that was why it was so quiet in there.

Lovely staff handle the queue professionally had a around 3 drinks, americano with coconut milk, double expressos and hazel latte, all drinks were done superb, place looked well kept too and clean.

Been coming to this place sinve they opener. They put up prices every year and service just seems to be getting worse and worse and the coffee getting worse. Time to stop spending my money here I think. Also pull your sun visor further, customers burning sitting outside

I'm so fed up with all of Costas delivery by uber etc They never have the iced drinks occasionally you may get them on the menu but it's so annoying i can order from two different stores both as bad no iced drinks yet if i go in store the same day on the wsy home they have iced drinks so infuriating. and the cakes sre stale if you do get a iced drink they put no cream on only occasionally. I give up absolutely a shambles with delivery

As a local I've been coming regularly with my loyal companion for years, however Costa head office has started enforcing a no dog policy which is a real shame as the staff are wonderful and the coffee is good. One review star for each, minus three stars for head office. Unfortunately it's now time to move on and find a new dog friendly establishment, it's a sad farewell.

The Chicken Fajita wrap was as delicious as ever however the coconut latte on this occasion was a little watery. Even if I order a milky coffee I still want it to taste like coffee! :-D

I show up right now for one hot tea and I am surprised that they say that is close at 16:34 when on google is says that is work until 20:00 ..disappointing..

Not much to say as Costas tend to the be same everywhere. Really like their hot chocolate especially as they are one of the few "barristas" that do cream and marshmallows (because why would you not want those!). This one didn't have a particularly good selection of things to eat particularly at breakfast time.

Very spacious place. For me that have a baby in a pushchair it was a excellent place for me to have a coffee and wait for the other one finish his tennis class..nice stuffs..polite helpful and clean place.

I love Costa but the one a Belsize park changed me £4.95 for a medium coffee instead of £2.95 when I questioned it they would only give me £1 instead of £2 !!!!

Consistently good morning service, my favourite costa

I go regularly to this coffee shop. You see many of the same people here time and again, it’s a bit like a club...and the atmosphere is extremely friendly. The coffee is good, and those serving are courteous always and serve you with a smile! I’ve dropped a star in my rating, because it’s looking really run down now, and really in need of refurbishment. Also one or other of the toilets is quite often out of order.. this needs to be addressed. The many regular customers deserve to be sitting in brighter surroundings.

My opinion Costa make the best americano coffee.

A welcome pit stop if ever cycling up Haverstock Hill. A number of tables outside if the weather is fine. Easy to keep an eye on the bike and enjoy a reviving drink prior to the next stage of the cycle up to Hampstead Village. Phew!

Iced coffee, with cappuccino like froth, in a glass. With a straw - just what I needed on a sunny, hot, pollen-laden day in this part of North London. Well served, in a comfortable setting.

Good people working here, attentive, quick and with a smile. I went here every morning for my whole stay in London to get coffee for my wife. Always a pleasure.

Service is very fast. The team is kind and smiley. There is sufficient seating inside and outside.

Despite asking for refreshments to drink in.... I was served with paper cups.? Staff too busy to answer why. I was appalled to see the conditions and poor hygiene in the toilets. They were nothing short of offensive, foul smelling and lacking in tissue and soap at 10:00 am yet the baristas had time to chat and laugh and only 20% of the venue had patrons.

I feel rather silly to leave a review on a coffee shop but when you walk a mile down the road on a lunch break and open your cup to this (see picture) ... Yeah i'm p***ed off right now. One step closer to my answer in the Starbucks vs Costa debate.
