Costa coffee simply the best in the UK. Nice, pleasant, quiet location and nice service!

Amazing experience and service specifically from mourad, always extremely polite and professional, coffee made to perfection!

A large Costa outlet near the junction of Bethnal Green Road and Brick Lane, with plenty of seating inside and outside, good wi-fi and toilets available.

I find constantly that I can never blow on my coffee before taking a sip, despite all the machinery the coffee is always served tepid. With wide rim cups the coffee gets cold even quicker in the winter

I come here with a couple of friends and it's always a pleasure. We spend hours there chatting and no-one ever wants to hurry us out. The staff are always very relaxed, friendly and helpful. They offer to take my tray to the table and generally accommodate whatever we ask for in a most pleasant and courteous way. And nice cakes.

I spent a couple of hours in Costa on Upper Bethnal Green just a couple of days ago. I found the customer service extremely pleasant. Maria and her manager Jusuf (I hope I recall his name correctly- I apologise if I didn’t) were very patient and accommodating of my hypomanic phase. Felt safe and accepted. The atmosphere was good, not very busy and pleasant place to be on your TikTok… Well done Costa. 8 out of 10. Ps. You are still one of my favourite coffee chain 👍

Nice place and as always good range of coffee. My favourite is Cortado with extra shot. My son spilled half of his smoothie. Staff promptly cleaned the place my son had remaining have but then we were given a new smoothie free of charge. Above all staff were very cool. Coffee places is definitely more than just coffee for majority of customers. We want a nice atmosphere, friendly and clean. This branch ticks all boxes!

I came here for a few hours on a Saturday and got a toastie whilst doing some university work and online shopping. I would say this branch is midsized, nice interior with a tables for 2 and three and some seats outside. It can get pretty busy during peak times but was a lovely spot to study. Staff don't bother you whilst you are studying which is ideal for me. Would visit again

My first experience in Costa, Bethnal Green was fine. There was three members of staff on shift one was informative and explaining clearly to me about the Costa app. One was very smiley (give ya face a break!) 😂 the one who looked the youngest seemed to have that ‘do I have to!?’ Font lol. Clean, tidy. I haven’t been to the toilets I decided to order Costa's mocha for the first time and I’m very glad I asked for a large otherwise I’d be paying for two regulars. I really enjoyed it. Would I come back and visit again? Of course. Prices wasn’t too bad too. Compare prices to the bagel shop cuppa coffee to a Costa coffee it was worth it

Pretty standard fairly large Costa. Annoyingly they did not have the syrup to make one of the drinks I wanted to order. You have to ask for a code to use the toilets, which when I asked was printed on the bottom of receipt. Next time I visited didn't have the syrup either!

Lovely place to enjoy coffee while relaxing 😌 There are customer toilets. Spaces are enough to spend time to read a book or work on a laptop.

It's chain coffee, about half as good as the local shops.

Busy on Sunday mornings, lipstick Mark on coffee cup shows lack of attention to cleanliness.

A great stop off point if you love coffee and cakes.

This is a very relaxing place and quite clean and tidy. Recently they have had a lot of different staff working in there and this has changed the dynamics. The staff who were there all the time were really lovely and very friendly. They always said to take a seat and they would bring my order over once it is ready. The temporary staff are not doing this, therefore the area can become very congested. Today they had a busy ten minutes and were really struggling to cope. They are not particularly friendly and a smile wouldn’t go amiss. Although I ate in, I was given a take away cup on a ceramic saucer. When I queried this I was told they had run out of cups! Would have been nice to have been told this and offered an apology.

Frappe was ok but the customer service could be better tbh.

I went into costa today and was taken care of by the loveliest of servers. I couldn’t catch his name but he made my experience memorable, this branch is by far my favourite. The place is incredibly clean and well kept, my order was perfect with absolutely no complaints. I like to have my peach tea with extra syrup, no one ever gets it right but this time it was perfect and I didn’t need to say no ice. It’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference. I will definitely be coming back more often now. The service was impeccable, I felt as though I was at a luxe café.

I asked for less ice in a cold drink. They explained they could not do this but we’re very rude. Go to Pret instead this place isn’t worth the slander.

Hard workers here. Was one of their first customers there, the place was spotless.

There are ever more independent coffee shops in Shoreditch, even with pandemic raging. But regardless of that, my only go-to for coffee is Costa on Bethnal Green Road. My coffee is made exactly as I wish, and with smiling and ever-helpful service from the team. Perfect.

Terrible service. It was really quiet yet tables hadn't been cleaned.

It's ok but most definitely overpriced. I had the regular chocolate orange hot chocolate and a chocolate twist. Cost £5.37 for both, personally wasn't a fan of the hot chocolate, it was fine but nothing special. The chocolate twist was pretty good but I've had better ones that cost half the price. I probably won't visit again but I think thats based moreso on personal preference. That being said I have nothing to complain about regarding the service, the workers were patient and pleasant.

This was awful! I ordered my usual order which I normally order from Whitechapel high street but since they were unavailable I decided to order from Bethnal Green. The Uber driver finally arrived then without any communication suddenly cancelled my order. I was very annoyed as my daughters wanted their sandwich. That order was just after 8 this morning. I ordered again and this time it did arrive just after 10 but I am absolutely sure they gave me the previous order as the the sandwiches were lukewarm and hard due to them having already heating it nearly TWO HOURS BEFORE! My lattes were ok although still more lukewarm rather than hot which I I wanted. This service was awful. I paid for a service and got lazy customer service where they cheated me out of quality of my food. The sandwiches were half eaten and thrown away by my daughters (I don’t blame them) and I was left angry and very let down by Uber and Costa

Ho visitato la location, carina visto il target medio di coffeeshop presenti in questa zona. Da Professionista del settore nonché esperto in Coffee Cupping, posso confermare che l'Espresso é Sottoestratto e la montatura del latte é schiumosa. Mancanza di pulizia della lattiera e personale probabilmente non qualificato.

Only popped in for a cup of tea whilst waiting to attend an interview. The 2 girls on the counter were extremely polite and from what I could see were being very helpful towards customers. They greeted every customer with a hello and smile. This is the kind of customer service anyone should receive going out to spend the hard earned money. Very good. I only have Costa when it comes to coffee and its satisfying to know I can come to my local store and feel relaxed and welcomed by such friendly staff.

It was odd today. We asked for 2 really basic, simple drinks. I paid but then had to go back and remind them twice to do our drinks. There was no queue at the time. We thought maybe it was her first day or something but if so she was not being supported very well

I had a coffee from costa today morning installing my Stomach start rambling, the coffee Dispatching machine look so filthy. I never visit again.

This branch in Lewisham.....Coffee was fine, to Costa standard however I wouldn't eat there as it looks dirty, cakes and biscuits had what looked like fruit flies on them! 😖

I was in urgent need of a restroom as I am 4 months pregnant at around 4pm on the 6th Nov. I had came in that morning for a tea and latte and just popped to the shops before going home. I had kindly asked the lady for the code for the bathroom were she then began interrogating me when i explained that i had been here this morning and i could pay for a takeaway tea but just needed the toliet she scoffed and ignored me infront of other customers.I am extremly dissapointed as i frequent this costa and will not be coming back.

Busy branch but the two staff worked diligently while maintaining a friendly demeanor, despite customers queuing for 10 minutes and then not knowing what they want when asked. Cold bottled drinks are more chilled than cold so be sure to ask for a cup with ice, take-away or sit in.

El flat white me ha gustado mucho. Pero los servicios estaban sucios y sin jabón de manos y las dos chicas que están allí trabajando no dan abasto. Me parece imperdonable que una cadena que hace tanto dinero ahorre en personal de esa forma. Eso acaba repercutiendo en higiene y servicio

Good coffee. Not quite Starbucks. But the toilet quality is on par 👌🏼

I visited here, allowing 25mins before starting work just down the road. They took nearly 15 mins to make a latte, moving extremely slowly in the process. Maybe these guys have all day, but the rest of us haven’t. To make matters worse, my latte was literally like water. Never had one so weak at any Costa before, or any other coffee shop in history. Sack the idiots working there on Friday morning of 28/9/18!

Shoreditch residents for many years, and have seen myriad indie coffee and chain coffee shops pop up next to us. And even with all this choice our regular is Costa. The coffee is fine, not the best, not the worst. The attraction is the staff: a lovely young crew of warm, professional and on-the-ball barristas and managers. Even when it is hectic with the many tourists they are always cool and under control.

Im going sometimes when I need to do some work to use a free wifi for all the time you need reasonable pieces and good quality. Of course the coffe is not the best but good concept. You can find Costa all over uk.
