Large seating area with a wide choice. Service, food and atmosphere was OK but nothing to shout about.

Ordered a Mocha and it tasted of watered coffee there was no hot chocolate taste to it at all coffee tasted really burned they re-made it and made it worse, lady who served me was rude and blunt clearly not interested.

Selves service vending machine difficult to use, went elsewhere

Ran out of a lot of coffee, I feel like service stations should be fully stocked expecially around the summer time and a lot of students time off, and on a hot 20° day like today a lot of there cold coffee drinks where not available.

Just went this Costa on our travels today and was served by Gary and a young lady with pink hair( didn’t catch her name) both were super polite and speedy service was provided even through it was very busy whilst waiting for the drinks. Super helpful staff on shift and complete credit to the company for those two!

The barista at the Costa inside the services was aggressive, sick and pathetic. He prepared my coffee with skimmed milk although I didn't ask for that. He forgot one of my drinks. He didn't scan my rewards card. I don't know what was wrong with him. I just went for a nice cup of coffee and expected better service from Costa.

Bought 2 coffees. A late and an americano. The barista was rude and aggressive and the coffee was tasteless. Very disappointing

Shockingly BAD service. Blonde woman poured drinks into plastic cups when I stated we were drinking in. She overfilled my child's small milk glass to the brim so it spilled all over our sandwiches on the tray and flooded the tray. These 2 things caused food waste, a mess, burnt hands for my child and on top of that the tables were DISGUSTING and filthy despite it being quiet. Awful Costa - avoid like the plague.

Visited one Saturday 3rd September had a decaf skinny flat white . Once only journey I took a sip and thought it tasted funny and could not drink it. I went ti throw it away and took the lid off as I was putting it in the bin and it had lumps in clearly the milk had gone off

Overworked staff struggling to keep up, lose stars for poor seating, prices and chaotic atmosphere.

Pointless. Waaaaay too slow! And once in the queue you're stuck there!

Gotta be one of the worst Costas. I've been to so far. Got a mocha that literally tasted like water and not like either coffee or chocolate. Staff were unfriendly and didn't even bother to cut my toastie in half. Wouldn't recommend

While waiting in the queue for sometime, and watching this boy behind the counter riding up and down on something with wheels, it was like he was sat on a skate board ! Suddenly he lept up to serve us, he didn't wash his hands or sanitise them, but wiped his nose with his hand then proceeded to pick up a tea bag with the same hand and make my tea, disgusting hygiene, I asked for a different tea from a different person. Which they did reluctantly.

Been to a lot of Costa outlets before but was disappointed with the service here. There was the normal good array of cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. The person who served us wasn't very friendly and it just seemed like it was too much work for her to serve us. She also didn't ask us if we were eating in or taking away so just gave us paper cups. When you are paying a lot of money you want proper cups. The food was pretty tasty and there was a good amount of seating.

Breakfast at Costa Girls were doing good breakfast and coffee for us. We had a stop at this service on our move towards Birmingham in M6. No disappointment this time at Costa. Cappuccino was good, initially the girl didn’t take enough milk for the second cappuccino then she did again. No complaint on half cooked food to reheat. Enjoyed our short stop here.

Possibly the slowest Costa in the country.

Been to the one going up, now going down I've called in to refresh. Its liquids in a cup that taste really nice.

Had costa coffe new hot buns latte We didn’t like it at all. Taste like a milk. Customer service excellent 👌

Ordered a salted caramel latte & a character roast flat white. The latte was caramel, not salted caramel and when I told the person on the machine he angry said "fine" then proceeded to give me a caramel latte telling me it was salted caramel (I know the taste difference!). The latte was also so frothy it was basically a Cappuccino. Also the flat white was too hot it taste burned and didn't taste like the character roast which I have every day at my local Costa. Awful coffee and rude staff.

Female member of staff pulled me away and told me that the other seating area was for McDonalds customers only. Seemed to be the methodical control freak type.

I stoped at around 7pm by look at it they keep changing there closing time as it can be seen the use water marker but this place was closed unacceptable on my view 1/10 next time I find open I will update my review

25 minutes to get a luke warm latte. Awfully slow and poor service

Probably the worst cup of Costa coffee that I've ever had in my life, but they get one star for having oat milk available. My husband's black americano coffee was equally as bad. We probably only had three sips of the coffee and pour the rest down the drain as it was so bad. The coffee tasted burnt and bitter, it certainly had not been treated with the care and respect that Costa is known for. We didn't try the Costa drive through. I would advise avoiding this Costa Coffee shop at all costs, travel on to the next services and use their Costa instead.

There was a queue in the store so I used the machine in WH Smiths, ordering using the App. No problems 😉

One member of staff needs a lesson in customer service , I ordered 2 flat white with semi skimmed milk as the batista was starting to make them I noticed she was using whole milk so I ssid they were with semi trying to be helpful the girl next to her rudely ssid if you wanted semi you should have ordered it and it was as if the lack of communication wS my fault , wouldn't recommend.

Am I expecting too much to be offered a stirrer and sugar with everything out of reach during Covid. And then to be asked how many I'd like rather than just have two dumped in front of me. Order was also wrong, and I asked if I could pay with my points and he added points on instead.

It was Costa so you get expensive food and drink, but at least the coffee is drinkable.

Use the place for a quick business catch up. Free wifi. Plenty of space in the seating area.

Lovely light blueberry muffin! Also had a cheddar cheese and roasted tomato toastie - why do they have cream in the ingredients?!

Costa Coffee is Ok, but this service station in total didn`t is quite weak and stole couple stars from may rating for Costa Coffee - sorry.

What can I say it's what you expect from a Costa.

Stopped by for a short break during the morning and enjoyed a welcome hot drink in a delightfully quiet setting: outside on the terrace, overlooking a fountain, in the sunshine. A great way to relieve the boredom endured from mile after mile of endless 50mph speed limits on the M6.

Best coffee in town.especially the cafe latte.

Friendly staff, We are regular visitor's.

It was very early in the morning but what good service from the young lady barister - smiling welcome and very efficient dealing with the order.

The coffee is clean and the service is so fast. The staff are professional and served us quickly. The service station is clean. Enjoyed staying there having our coffee .

It's not bad coffee, it's not nasty but it's not £3 worth. You never come away thinking it's a nice cup of coffee. I would say that you may possibly get a better coffee from McDonald's. Also - my friend asked for a black coffee but had milk on his. Up your game Costa.

Nice and big. Bit sure if she was meant to, but my wife enjoyed a McDonald's with her coffee and nobody shooed us into different seating. That's probably one of the few benefits of the impersonal nature of motorway services - you can get away with more off-the-grid behaviour. Product up to scratch.

Had a relaxing cuppa and tasty Christmas special "pigs in blankets" panini here a few days ago whilst having a break from a very long drive. Fab, friendly and cheerful staff - especially the tall lady with short white blonde hair and specs. Stafford services are a bit different with a lake and fountain - great when it's nice weather to sit outside.

Enjoyed my coffee on the patio with views over the lake with a fountain -- not what you'd expect to see on a motorway services!
