Lovely New Year’s Day breakfast at cote! Service was fast with a lovely river view table. All 8 of us had the breakfast deal and the amount of food and drink was spot on. Brilliant way to start the year!

Lovely place, good food and dining experience. Breakfasts are really good value.

The food was lovely and delicious. We ate the calamari, scallops for starter and for the main course we ate chicken, duck, pork and salmon and they were all scrumptious with truffle chips and dauphinoise potatoes. The service was also great as we were not rushed into finishing the meal and the allergies were well taken care of. The only two things I would change are the small seats and the fact that they do not take cash as a payment. Overall had a great time with friends.The Creme Caramel dessert was lovely too.

My family and I visited Cote Brasserie on Christmas Eve, and we were fortunate to have Steven S. as our server, which was very professional on doing his job. From the moment we sat down, they made us feel special and welcome, adding a festive cheer to our dining experience. Steven S. was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, ensuring that every request was met promptly and with a smile. Thanks to Steven, our Christmas Eve dinner was not just a meal—it was an experience. His exceptional service and genuine warmth turned a busy holiday evening into a memory we’ll cherish for years.

Great views with lovely food to match. Adel is a fantastic host and helps to make our visits extra special every time.

We are frequent visitors to the restaurant, it’s fair to say that it is one of our favourites. This is due to the location - we often take our family and friends from overseas, as it is perfect for views of Windsor castle. The food is always excellent, especially the breakfasts. We are very grateful to ADEL who is the best host ever! He always gives us a very warm welcome, is friendly and makes us feel valued. He is one of the reasons we keep coming back!! Many thanks to him and all the staff.

Good French restaurant in beautiful location at Eton . I loved my Poulet Grillè, Crepe Aûx Bananas,Choclate Mouse. Friendly staff. We came here with office colleague and enjoyed a lot. Definitely recommended.👍

Everything was great except the food. Steak had the texture of a pork chop and wasn't cooked to medium rare. So maybe go and try something else on the menu but my personal experience wasnt a great one

I've only had breakfast there so far and it's always been great.

I'm a regular visitor to Côte, and over the years have visited Windsor, Marlow, Woking and Amerham on more than one occasion. The Windsor branch is the restaurant I mainly visit. Therefore, I was very surprised to be served up a cold main dish – a confit of pork belly. The cold dish was taken away to be reheated. When it was finally returned to me, it was without the dauphinoise potatos that had been added to the plate. This was pointed out to staff, but I might just as well have been speaking to a brick wall. I'd advise anyone to think carefully before visiting the premises.

Unpleasant experience. Called at 5pm to ask for a table for 2 and we were told to arrive for 5:30pm and they’d have a table available for us. Arrived at 5:17pm and said we called and were told to come at 5:30pm and the lady was rude. Told us that they don’t have a table until 6:30pm and we asked why we were told to come at 5:30pm and she told us to go and have a look around ourselves to see that they don’t have a table for 2. Unnecessarily rude.

The place and the service they provide is fabulous, I recommend the sea food is finger-licking 5 stars. We went with some friends from our company Lufthansa landing gear technique and we were assisted by Tej very nice Attentive restaurant worker very helpful and very friendly and the entire service is impeccable and extraordinary atmosphere %100 recommended thank you very much thank you Tej and your team.

Our fantastic server Juan was brilliant at talking us through the allergy options. He went out of his way to make us feel safe and confident that our son who has multiple allergies would have a great meal and he did. Can't thank Juan enough for all the effort he put in. Would give more than 5 stars if it was an option!

Not sure if under new management or not but always came here before but portions toooo small so be prepared not to be full. But lovely people and staff are amazing

Our waiter let us view the lunch menu, but we opted for breakfast. He made a helot suggestion on juices. He was patient while I picked a tea. The food was fresh a delicious.

My family went to Cote Windsor today for lunch and I just wanted to record via a review how amazing we found the staff at the Eton restaurant. In addition to the food being very good, the staff could not have been better. They were friendly, attentive and responded to everything that we asked. They are a great team and I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant

We used to love visiting Cote but we found the service lacking on this visit and the food to be sub standard. It was 4pm on a Saturday so hardly busy but the staff really could not be bothered! Hopefully the management can rectify things as it's such a great location and could be such a lovely experience again.

Booked this restaurant for my son’s birthday. We live local but haven’t been in a while. We had booked for 5.30pm but we were running late. The staff were very understanding & friendly and showed us to our table. The service & the food was fab as usual but i would like to say a big thank you to all the staff that took the time to make my son’s birthday special.

A busy restaurant lake side..they had a few vegetarian options too. Quite a busy restaurant and may have to book in advance. Loved the lake view next to the table.

A great experience from start to finish. Although our table was in the middle of the restaurant we still had lovely views of the river. The service was good and the food was delicious.

Cote Windsor is truly able to create such a special evening! More than just its idyllic location, the branch has the friendliest staff, who offered both quick and efficient service and warm conversation, not to mention the delicious food. My family received a really warm welcome and were greeted by a lovely waitress when we arrived at our table. All members of staff were sure to greet us with a smile in passing which made all the difference! Throughout the night Adel was particularly attentive and generous with both his time and service, making the night with my family even more special. We had a lovely time and couldn’t recommend it more highly! Thank you!

Went here for my 70th birthday on Halloween. We were made to feel extremely welcome on our arrival and where shown to a lovely seat by the river. The staff were awesome, professional, friendly and attentive. This was my first visit and were given a complimentary drink as it was my birthday. The food was amazing, one of the best steaks I have ever had, and our party of 4 had a wonderful, relaxing evening. Can't recommend highly enough!

Staff were great and the view is terrific. The steaks were great, we wan5ed them cooked a little more and it was no trouble at all and they came with new fresh fries!

Côte Windsor is a great spot for dining, especially with a group. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is delicious. A perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Highly recommended!

On Sunday night we went to cote brasserie for dinner in Windsor.It is in the most perfect location,it’s not every cote brasserie which you get to have a beautiful view of the river and castle.It was so beautiful watching the sun set as we were having our meal.The gluten free range is fantastic,loads of choice on a dedicated gluten free menu.The food was nothing short of fabulous,for starters I had the charcuterie board gluten free,it was absolutely delicious,a great portion size and a range of flavours.I got olives as an extra which were nice.For the main I went for a gluten free burger,the gluten free bun was nice+soft,the beef was delicious and well cooked and the cheese,caramelised onion and frites were delicious.Food came out relatively quickly,our server Julia F really showcased the example of great service and went the extra mile.It was a fairly upbeat atmosphere and very clean.Would highly recommend!

Delicious food and wonderful ambience!

A half way meet up for my aunt who is 92 and my mum who is 89. Food, service and atmosphere very good. Just a shame the toilets were 3 flights of stairs to get to them not so good for my aunt. This didn't take away anything from the enjoyable visit. Thank you Team Cote Windsor 🤩

Previous meals at Cote restaurants have been good BUT this time what an enormous disappointment! Table booked for 6 at 5pm on a Saturday. Despite knowing we were a party of 6, it was only set for 5 and we repeatedly had to ask for cutlery, glasses and serviette for the 6th placing. Ordering our food and wine choice took longer than expected, only to have the waiter return several minutes later to say the wine choice was no longer available! When the food eventually arrived there were problems with all four adults’ meals. 1) The confit duck à l’orange had no bitter orange sauce (as clearly stated on the menu), 4 segments of orange and the skin was inedible and not crispy at all. The accompaniment of potato gratin dauphinois was dry and lacked seasoning. 2) The chicken Poulet Breton dish was dry and, even with the additional cost of a sauce (that was very lumpy), did nothing to improve the dish. Its new potatoes accompaniment were over cooked. 3) The minute steak was tasteless, overcooked and dry. 4) The worst meal was the beef cheek Bourgignon. It was coagulated and slimy and the recipient left it all after only one mouthful! Thankfully, the two children’s meals of fish goujons, chips and salad were ok. The waiter cleared half the plates but only returned to clear the rest when we managed to get his attention and to ask for the dessert menu. The desserts saved the day in some way!! Whilst we mentioned about the inedible beef cheek meal, the waiter apologised but nothing else was done and we didn’t want to make a big fuss in front of our family party. Taking 2 hours to have a main meal and a dessert was unacceptable, especially with two young children. The cost of the meal was also expensive for what it was! to Booking Cote restaurant in Windsor was supposed to be a family celebration but fell far short of that…!

After visiting Windsor Castle, we walked into this beautiful restaurant along the river hungry. The French three-course appetizer, crispy fried fish, was good enough. The quick plate steak and confit duck legs were both delicious. They also came with French fries to ensure that we are full. The cod set meal for children is also delicious. The desserts are even more amazing. The mousse cake and ice cream are both delicious and delicate.

Quite a few of the mussels unopened. Ones that had half of them tasted bad. Sauce ok but very watery. Fries good but calamari straight out the freezer and bad. We won’t be visiting a cote again after that. Waitress was polite but uninterested in solving the problem.

A disappointing experience service and food wise. We had a special occasion, made a booking well in advance with a kind request for a table by the window but when we came our note was bluntly ignored. The girl at the door was uninterested on the reservation made and frankly made a poor start for the evening.She even didn't attempt to accommodate the request. The food unfortunately couldn't make up for the door meet.

Been here many times and it never disappoints. We ordered the special deal for 2 steaks, 2 sauces and 2 sides which gave us a free bottle of red wine - bargain! Despite the rain (we sat on the terrace), the staff were attentive and the food was delicious. Oh the calamari…

Visited Cote on numerous occasions and we have always have good food and drink with service to match.

Amazing & even got a birthday cake!

Booked on a Sunday and enjoyed a champagne breakfast. It was perfect as was our server Harry. He was knowledgeable and very efficient. Highly recommend booking. It was quite busy on Sunday morning.

The whole experience from the time you enter the time you leave. The staff are helpful and very friendly no matter how busy they got. The food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavour.

Five of us booked for a family get together on Sunday to celebrate two birthdays. We booked two days in advance and asked for a table looking over the Thames. We were taken to a table for four. We asked for a table for five and were taken to the back of the restaurant, past an empty table with a river view. I spent a couple of hours looking at the side of a block of flats. What is it with restaurants who fill the least attractive tables first? I won’t be coming again any time soon.

Manager Aded, managed to gather our separate bookings into one area and made our breakfast for 50+ possible. The smiles on the staff were warm and contagious. Thank you so much.

Fikk bord ved elvebredden en solfylt søndag i september. Hyggelige servitører serverte nydelig salat, fougasse og cremant etterfulgt av kaffe og creme caramel. Veldig fornøyd med besøket og kan absolutt anbefales. En ting de derimot må gjøre noe med er toalettene! Her luktet det urin og gulvene var skitne - manglet renhold over tid.

Great restaurant in beautiful location on the bank of the river Thames. I loved my moules frites. Great wine menu and wonderful cheese selection. Friendly staff. We came here right after a tour of Windsor Castle on the way to Eton College.

Third time in Côte in different cities in UK. Unfortunately this one is probably understaffed as the service on Sunday (4pm) is extremely slow, tables around are dirty and guys seem quite tired already... Even though the food is great overall a disappointing experience as it is not great at all to be surrounded by piles of plates.

The location on the river is beautiful, but the steak was very mediocre, the chicken was great but plain, and the drinks were okay for their prices. Expensive for what it is. Could be much better if it wasn’t as plain and boring

The food was very good. I had the steak fillet- cooked perfectly medium. The green salad and bacon and comte potatoes. All were good portions and yummy. I sat outside near the river, very pretty scenery. The waiters were very attentive. I needed to charge my phone, they loaned me a power bank, and a bee would not leave me alone, one came to rescue me :D Would definitely go again.

Myself and a friend enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Windsor Cote two weeks ago. The staff were amazing, very professional and friendly. The food was great and the house rose went down very well. This was my second lunch at this restaurant in the space of four weeks and each time, I had a very good experience. I am looking forward to going back with my husband.

Excellent dining experience. Attractive riverside restaurant with direct view of the Thames. Excellent food, superb service and top-notch ambience. One of our best restaurant experiences. Really looked after well by the friendly manager Asad. We had a brilliant time and will most certainly return!

Perfect location when visiting Windsor, right by the river and a big restaurant with lots of seating options. As it was hot and sunny we sat right by the river outside, it was great. Very busy restaurant but did not wait for drinks or good to arrive a long time. We opted for a £25 per person set menu got meats which was a bit of steak, chicken and pork with chunky chips and side salad and spinach. The chicken wasn’t the favourite but still nicely cooked. Good value for money, will go back.

I had lunch at Cote Windsor on Friday 23rd August with 2 friends Firstly the young lady that served us was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. However we ordered 3 mains and the third was delayed , though we weren’t notified it would be, and had to ask where it was. When we enquired we were told they had placed the salmon on the sauce which we didn’t want, so great - they had realised before serving, but we were not told this until we asked where it was and when the dish arrived it was not fully cooked and so my friend sent it back and decided not to reorder. The burger I had was just a fat slab of meat, with a few chips. No side garnish either. I’ve had better from a fast food truck. Although the salmon was taken off the bill, we had no apology for the delay or the undercooked fish from management. I’m afraid to say that despite having one of the best venues on the river the food never lives up to expectation nor is it value for money. I am a Windsor resident and have eaten there several times but not again. Such a shame.

After visiting this restaurant over the years and enjoying great good, excellent service and idyllic views, we are now very sorry to find that the prices have gone up a lot while the portion sizes have decreased by a good amount...a double whammy for the Paying Customer ....sorry, but we won't be back!

We booked a table for six on the back of Cote Windsor being ‘dog friendly’. Seems that it’s only dog-friendly when the diners are outside, even when it’s chilly and rainy. Our small dog wasn’t even allowed to go through the restaurant on the way to the garden. The staff member shouted at us and was quite aggressive in enforcing this rule that we were unaware of. So… we left and went to a properly dog friendly restaurant. Such a pity. Going to Cote has been a past pleasure that I’ll no longer repeat.

Great location in Windsor. We were lucky to have a window seat overlooking the river on a warm summers evening. The service was very good. The staff were very attentive. The food was tasty too. If you've been to another branch of Cote you know what to expect.

If you want something to eat, that is not microwave cooked. Definitely come and visit this place in Windsor. I've been here 3 times already, and every time food and service are on Michelin star restaurant level. Certainly, I will come back. Lemon sole meunière was absolutely amazing. Update: Usually, when i do like a restaurant, i come back until they F...up.. and usually they do at some point. So this time was that time. We came back to this place in a few weeks' time . Menu slightly changed. But we chose something from the old menu, i think. When we came, waiting time was insignificant. And yes , I've booked the table in advance. I never been in "basement" - i never thought it was existing. That basement was quite cosy with open double doors river view. It was quite warm when we came , but our table was booked at 20:15 and it became quite quickly from nicely worm cosy. To cold, lots of flies coming from outside river. About the food. Starter was from old menu , calamari. But for some reason, they just dumped sauce on top without asking us- previously, they were bringing it with separate little sauce plate... I like previously. Usually, i do not order American dishes in French restaurants or visa versa. But this time we thought if they cooked so amazingly french dishes, they must be making all the menu like that. Yes.... I was right in not ordering steak in French restaurant.... We got that 22oz steak with 2 sides and 2 chips (came with french frie, not chips, ye, theree is a difference) that's meant to be food for 2 . And it was. indeed for 2. Enough food for 2. Only... One thing... One main thing -...... Why do you ask ho you want your steak 🥩 if you do not care - just cooking as you want. We wanted it as medium rare. Bu I got it RARE. I don't know if it wa a waiter's mistake or chefs. Doesn't matter.... We got what we got. I took 1 star off from this review for the reason that the steak was cooked incorrectly. For £58 that could be done better. I will give this restaurant one more chance, to improve and if they fail , i will find another restaurant. "Plenty fish outside." Another update: I've been here several more times since the last update. There have been ups and downs, and yet I keep coming back - so it can't be bad. 😅

A lovely experience sat having lunch inside with views across the river. The staff member was exceptional, friendly, pleasant, chatty, helpful, a great sales person. You should definitely keep him. The food was delicious & the atmosphere & view were superb. Thank you!

Amazing location with the Windsor castle and the Thames as a view. You should definitely have to try the cheese soufflé and the Brunch menu. Remember to book your table in advance cause normally they don’t accept people without reservations.

We had reserved a table for two outside. The table they offered us was tiny and it wouldn't have been possible for two people to sit there comfortably. When we left, we saw that there were still other tables available - they just didn't make any effort to find an alternative.
