Côte Marlow in Wycombe

Awful experience here. Really slow service, rude staff, food poor. Not worth the money and the worst cote experience by far. Will not be returning there are far nicer places in Marlow.

Lively restaurant, but not noisy. Great food choices and service was excellent. All of us enjoyed the food quality, and the overall cost was very acceptable. A lovely evening.

Manager was unspeakably rude and dismissive. How dare he treat his clients with such disregard and distain! Such a shame as the rest of the staff were delightful and clearly embarrassed by the ignorant behaviour of their ‘boss’. The wrong person is in charge.

Great! Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable staff. Delicious, flavoursome food, good portions. Great ambience. Go ahead treat yourself and savour all dishes! 5+

It was warm, well maintained and the staff were so friendly. Quick service too and we had to dash out for a train, so the server was able to get us sorted efficiently. The breakfast selection was pretty extensive and I definitely liked the £14.95 breakfast deal with a juice, any hot drink and hot food item. Definitely a favourite for breakfast - please don't change anything!

Comfortable and warm on a very cold and miserable day. A good selection of dishes well presented. We had a variety of choices and all was cleared, which is always a good recommendation. I look forward to my next visit.

Pre fixe meal very good and good value. Service was good considering that even on a Friday lunchtime the restaurant was full.

Ordered Steak Frites with triple cooked chips upgrade lunch time meal yesterday. Probably the best and tastiest steak I have eaten.

By far the best vegan food... Healthy, high protein choices, unique flavours and exceptional service by all. We would definitely visit soon.

This was a birthday celebration with friends. The whole experience was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and service. I had received a voucher for a free bottle of fizz which was served as soon as we sat down without me needing to ask. I have one member of my party who can't drink and two drivers but rather than them missing out the waiter brought them non alcoholic cocktails on the house which was a nice touch. I have notice that the price has crept up which is inevitable i suppose

We really enjoy the food at Cote and have visited many times. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. The restaurant is clean and attractive. We always ask for the set menu, which is reasonably priced and has a great selection of dishes. Recently, 3 of us went, and we had 3 glasses of wine. 2 people had 2x courses (sea bass/crepe and chocolate mousse) 1 person 3 courses - fishcake, steak, plums. The total, including service charge, was £90. It's not cheap but the food was excellent. The restaurant was busy, and the atmosphere was chatty, not too loud. We hadn't pre booked, and it was a Thursday, but it may be wise for the weekend. There's a pay and display car park next to the restaurant. A good place to visit.

Cote is very reliable. Food is good. Service is always excellent. Restaurants are clean and quite stylish. The menu doesn't change much so I know what I'm going to have in advance (which is sometimes a good thing). Prices are OK. Recommended.

I recently dined at Cote Restaurant in Marlow and had a wonderful experience. The salad was fresh and tasted lovely, and there was a good selection of wine. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, with a warm and inviting ambiance. I particularly enjoyed sitting outside, it was very relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I look forward to returning.

We had a 60th wedding anniversary lunch in the room to the right of the front door. From the beginning, it was a pleasure to organise this event with Cote. On the day, the food was fabulous, the service was incredible (Ruby, you are a star!) and the atmosphere was so relaxed because everything went to plan. Thank you so much, I will recommend you over and over.

Delicious food and beautiful location. We went on a Friday at 7:00 p.m. and it was very busy so it took them 1 hour to serve us the food. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend the onion soup, mussels with potatoes and creme caramel

We played World cup 70+ at the cricket ground.We were treated with love and respect at the highest level. If I have to plan a party or family gathering,this is the place ,a group of nicest people one can meet.🙏🏽🙏🏽

Restaurant atmosphere and outdoor seating was nice and service was good and friendly but food was mediocre, I ordered the burger which tested nice but the patty quality was to my expectation.

Cocktail's were delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the steak but my husband didn't enjoy the taste of his as much. Service was ok.

High level restaurant with excellent quality service and delicious food. Great atmosphere. It was amazing desert at the end of our dinner - Creme Caramel and Creme Brulee. Highly recommend!

Took my kids and a friend for dinner to celebrate my son’s first communion. The team were so attentive and caring towards us. They had great recommendations for food and drinks and even brought blankets for my kids when the chill set in as we were outside. Great atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service overall. My kids love this place and they know it’s a special treat.

Great brunch, sausage. Undercooked for my liking but they happily provided a browner and more cooked one.

Food was lovely but unforunately the waiter service was not. Our waiter was superior in manner and actually quite rude which spoilt what should have been a lovely meal with friends.

The steak and chips were excellent. Too many places about where food is poor and you feel you've wasted your money, but here, it was very good.

We’ve been many times, service has always been great. This time was a birthday brunch for my daughter’s 19th birthday with the grandparents. Wonderful as always. Poached eggs were over cooked on two meals, but rectified immediately without fuss. Fabulous service and staff. Thank you.

This is only our second ever visit to a Cote outlet. We were warmly greeted by Susan and shown around the garden area and then to a lovely table by the window. The restaurant was busy, but were were well served and not rushed in any way. The food was piping hot and the drinks selection good. (Sassy cider is a treat)

I had Sunday lunch with my wife at this restaurant in Marlow, after an enjoyable morning browsing through the shops and the park in this lovely town. The Cote restaurant looks attractive with a relaxing environment. Starters were lovely but I found a tall blonde hair (not mine I am bald and my head is shaven) on top of the main course - Beef Bourgogne. I commented about this to the server who immediately offered to take it back to the kitchen and replace the dish. I think there are two ways to look at this situation: the first is the positive outlook - everyone makes mistakes, it’s just a hair, it could happen everywhere. The second way of looking at it is to think that this indicates that the kitchen staff do not wear caps or hair nets, and possibly there may be other kitchen failings. Do the kitchen staff wash their hands, do they observe sanitary procedures? Would the server take the dish into the kitchen and return the same dish a few minutes later? I can never have answers to these questions so we skipped desert and coffee, paid the bill and left.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant managed by Dani, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, Dani's attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service were evident. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel truly valued as customers. What stood out most, however, was the quality of the food, particularly the meat. It was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and showcased the chef's skill and the high-quality ingredients used. Dani's professionalism and the outstanding dining experience he offers make this restaurant a must-visit. Kudos to Dani for making our evening so memorable!

If we wish to dine out and know the food , service and environment will be first class we always choose Côte

Great vibe with my colleagues tonight - large table of about 35 people and the service and food was great!

Not impressed, I had POULET BRETON AU GRILLÉ checken was very dry.......we ordered dessert and it didn't arrive but was added to the bill!!!! No apology... the staff were lovely though. I won't be going back

I get the mussels every time I visit Côte, and I could never get tired of them. They’re amazing and the sauce is delicious!! Soup was nice but wouldn’t get it again

Had an excellent meal last night, Cote being my favourite place to eat. Had Confit Pork Belly which was amazing, the top was lovely and crisp, the pork just fell apart and tasted absolutely wonderful. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome. They made sure I sat down comfortably and put my crutches at the side of me but safely out of the way. Then it was time to relax 😎 and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I would like to thank all the staff for such a wonderful meal and service on 2nd March 2024 early evening. This is has got to be one of the best Cote restaurants we have visited. For some reason the food was a lot better presented and tasted a lot better than other Cotes we have visited in other areas! Both of us had our favourite slow roasted belly pork which was excellent. And the cafe Gourmend to finish.

We had the prix fixe, steak and fries, and grilled chicken which were perfectly cooked. The decor and cleanliness were very good. The only downside is the lack of convenient parking in that part of Marlow.

Faultless service (special mention to Vasco), great atmosphere and lovely food and wine. We have been going to Cote Marlow for years with my parents, and it was the natural choice for our evening meal on the day we learned of my father's passing. It was like a warm hug from an old friend, thank you Cote Marlow.

Despite the restaurant being only half full it took 15 minutes for our order to be taken. 50% of the order arrived in 10 minutes. Half an hour later the rest arrived. Quality was good, maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen. But not a brilliant experience.

Went mid afternoon on a Sunday, so missed the lunchtime rush. We did the Cote Sunday Special, sharing chicken, pork and steak and a choice of three side dishes for £25pp. Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere. Never felt rushed.

This was a wonderful find on a cold New Year's Day. We had researched a nearby dog friendly venue but had found that it was closed. We popped in on the off chance and asked if we could bring our dog in with us and thankfully we were allowed as it wasn't busy and there was a table tucked away from the main area which was full of diners. We had a vegan and a veggie breakfast and ordered a sausage for Wellington. The food was perfec and came quickly after our order. My coffee tasted so good that I had to have another. Most notable though was the service. Our waitress took time to converse with us and made us feel extremely welcome. The manager also came over to ask if we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for making us smile and looking after us so well.

We have visited Cote Marlow on several occasions and had a great experience. I booked well in advance for my Husband's birthday yesterday but the table for two overlooking the garden requested wasn't available and we were sat in the middle of an extremely busy and noisy restaurant at a table for four from which two place settings had to be removed. We were hurried throughout with courses arriving in quick succession rather like a conveyor belt and it felt like the table was required for another party; I understand it is a busy season but the place felt rammed full and my husband's birthday wasn't the special occasion we hoped for. Disappointed.

What more is there to say about Côte than Go there... Book Now!! Best restaurant in Marlow by far on every level. Update: Tonight was our 9th Wedding anniversary, Côte was as ever, 100% on their game. Côte de Boeuf was exceptional and service was brilliant! 11yrs in total we've been going to Côte Marlow and despite us moving more than 30mins away, we still come back as we know exactly the level of service and food will always be on point. Well done Côte Marlow team!

First visit and won’t be the last. The place was packed but despite the crowd we were served with smiles and efficiency. Lovely food, reasonably priced for Marlow, and super atmosphere. Definitely would recommend.

After a bad experience at Côte Ealing earlier this year, I was not sure I wanted to give this chain another chance. I am so glad I decided to pay them a visit in Marlow. It was a world of difference from their useless branch in Ealing. The ambience was lovely, the food (Moules-frites: mussels with frites) was delicious, and the service top notch. Thanks to the folks in Marlow, I will continue to patronise Côte but not at Ealing.

I recently visited the Marlow branch. Smart décor, polite and helpful staff. Had a beef bourguignon which was nice. Unfortunately the child’s portion of mashed potato did not match the portion of beef. Double whammy for customers with hiked prices and small portions. Will not be going back. Jim Downes

Total ripoff. Avoid!! Food was disgusting. Roasted lamb rump. Lamb was cold and chewy.Supposed to be served with leeks and Chardonnay carrots. Couldn’t find them.Follamour lager worked out At£10 a pint . Steer clear!

Had lunch at the cote on the 26.11.23. Ordered the fish parmentier, very disappointed with the size. This dish would be adequate has a starter for a youngster starting out on solids. Hardly any fish except for a few crumbs and 2 small prawns no substance at all for a pie, and an adult to eat , and expensive,

Amazing food, atmosphere and staff

Due to circumstances beyond their control the restaurant had limited food available when we arrived and an empty restaurant due to having to cancel people. We decided to stay and sit outside under the heaters while work was done on the fire alarms. Customer service was exemplary under the circumstances and the fault was later fixed so we were able to order from the full menu. Thank you.
