Visited cafe today for breakfast I ordered smashed avocado on Toast came out with 2 hard boiled eggs I ordered extra bacon came out rock hard. It also is advertised with sour dough came out with cheap thin brown slices of bread. I sent the plate back it then came out with a snotty egg which made me feel sick. Hubby ordered the court farm breakfast he enjoyed apart from the rock hard bacon & the cheap beans. The kick in the teeth I saw the girls who were serving folding around 15 ICELAND bags the management obviously buy all the produce from there & charge ridiculous prices. We have been many times this was the worst experience I imagine under new management will not be returning. Garden centre is looking bleak & sparse too. Shame used to be r nice !

Horrible food I’ve never had a more ridiculous excuse for salad totally grotty. My friend got a cold pasta and when I asked to have it warmed up it came back dry from the microwave. The tuna in the salad was all mushy with mayonnaise mashed to a yuck paste. The olives were of the sliced black variety only ever seen on the cheapest of pizza.

Visited last Wednesday. Despite running the hot tap on both basins for a long time, the water remained cold. On leaving, I reported this to a staff member who said that there was NEVER any hot water, but that she would pass on my comments. Failure to provide hot water is a hygiene risk, particularly during a pandemic and especially if catering staff use these toilets. I will check to see if this has been rectified on my next visit tomorrow. I would have thought that hot water would be a requirement to maintain a hygiene rating of 5.

Came for lunch with 2 young children. Cafe is lovely and airy, nice environment to sit in. But, prices are very high for what is bog average food. Wasn't expecting the earth but I think pricing was unreasonably high for what was on offer. The hot drink and cake deal (£6.49) was a laugh as it's exactly the same price as buying both separately. Great deal!

Firstly the food quality was amazing but the food wasn’t hot when served at the table. The sausage and bacon were a bit over done . I was only given 1 portion of butter for two toast . My latte wasn’t to the top of the glass and the sauce dishes served to us were mainly dish and little sauce in them . I had the collosus breakfast for £12 which was over priced for the amount of food on the plate as I should have felt stuffed . I would visit again as I already commented the food quality was spot on

I tucked into the Court Farm Cafe's full English (pictured), which was £8, served by a very friendly waitress. It's a big cafe - plenty of tables - and the menu options, certainly at breakfast time, seemed very good. I was torn between the Court Farm breakfast and the avocado on toast with poached egg, but went for the works. A fine sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, bacon, toast. All in all very good, but why on earth there's a need to put the baked beans in a separate little dish on the plate is beyond me.

Visited this garden centre cafe a few times due to building work in my property. The seating area is clean and comfortable with a mixture of hard wooden seats and 2 areas with sofas. The staff are always polite and courteous. The food is very good and is medium to slightly high price, however quality of food is very good. The cafe is a good place to work as it has free WIFI and would recommend working here if in the area looking for an alternative to a normal coffee house. Only downside is that the music can be played quite loud at time and the lunchtime voice noise can also be loud if attempting to call people. How that is a small price to pay for clean warm surroundings.

Took mum here for a bite to eat, despite being quite an open restaurant it has a cosy feel to it. The cafe offers a variety of food and drinks so I would think there is something to tempt most tastes. Mum and I went for eggs royale, small tip, ask for your hollandise sauce to be warm, ours arrived in a cold blob due to a previous customer not wanting their sauce hot, I thought it was a large portion of butter on arrival. One of the staff did apologies for this when they asked how our meal was and gave us the tip to ask for the sauce to be warm if we visit again. Good value for money, nice clean restaurant and friendly staff. We will visit again.

We only discovered Court Farm fairly recently to buy plants. We tried the cafe for coffee and cake a couple of times and liked it so when we saw Sunday roast on the menu decided to give it a go. Bad decision. After pre ordering the food and booking a time slot we were presented with food so horrendous that we still cant believe it happened. It was served up on a stone cold platter, - a thick cut of dried up beef which was difficult to cut up, inedible Yorkshire pudding, hard packet mix stuffing, tinned carrots, warm gloopy gravy, sloppy broccoli/cheese and cold shredded cabbage. We did eat some of it as we were hungry not having had breakfast. To make matters worse we brought a guest with us who was too polite to complain but who didn’t eat much of her meal. I did look for a review of Sunday roasts but there wasn’t one, perhaps that should have been a warning. The management of Court Farm should seriously consider removing Sunday roast from the menu and also the large advertising boards outside until they can raise the standard of the food they offer. We thought we had found a new local venue to buy plants and visit for lunch etc. but this experience has changed our opinion.

It is so easy to grab a nice relaxed lunch here. Easy to park in the car park and loads of space inside so you are never disappointed and not shoulder to shoulder with adjoining tables. This time I had some lovely home made fishcakes (two really good sized ones) on a very tasty salad bed. The "posh pops" are very nice too. The staff are friendly and bring your food and drink to your table (inside or out) and you are free to relax as long as you want. Cakes are quite tempting and if you are in no rush you may find yourself staying longer than you intended and grabbing a slice of cake and more coffees after your lunch (when this happens son takes himself off to look at the fish and reptiles in the neighbouring building). Would be nice if they were open in the evenings but I suppose they have to service the garden centre opening times. Will have to go back to try the Sunday roast next time

Visiting friends in Surrey, we were recommended to have breakfast at this cafe. We said, don't think so, we've been there before and promised ourselves that we wouldn't bother again. The friends said, Ah, but it's under new management and really very good. So we decided to give it a try. Wow ! A really decent full English with proper sausages and bacon, for a change. The other half went for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and was equally impressed. It was all utterly delicious. We couldn't resist going back for the Sunday lunch. Choices of meat and a good spread of genuinely fresh vegetables (you can tell) all perfectly cooked. Very reasonably priced and excellent value. The service was friendly and efficient. Our friends were right, under new management and really very good. We will return !

We used to frequent this Cafe on a regular basis and enjoyed the oversized home made fruit scones with home made jam, butter and clotted cream as well as the large teacakes, amazing apple pie with ice cream, Victoria Sponge and other cakes and ice creams. Also cooked meals such as fish and chips, bowls of chips and there were Sunday Roasts as well. The Garden Centre has decided to run the Cafe "in house" and the menu has changed drastically - no more chips, (not even on the children's menu) apple pie or Victoria Sponge. The plain scone available is smaller than the average biscuit and is served cold. Clotted Cream, although advertised, is not available. The menu is very 'hip'. It has a lot of speciality breads, gluten free etc. but not the down to earth foods that people often want. The breakfast menu does look interesting but the lunch/sandwich menu did not really appeal. There is no pottery on sale and those fantastic quotes have been painted over and paintings hung on the walls. They now look very bare and no longer so appealing. Nice warm fire but it is more of a 'health food' place than the cafe that was so popular previously. Having said that the staff were helpful and polite. Unfortunately, it is not our thing and we will not be going as often as we have done. Perhaps a poll of customers to find out what they would like in the Cafe might have proved useful.

Court Farm Garden Centre does not just sell sheds, plants and gardening equipment, they also have reptiles and fish, aquariums and ponds. Also, in their shop, you can purchase home made preserves, sweets and biscuits as well as china, jewellery and all manner of home made items. Whilst there you should pop into the Cafe, which is large and inviting. The music, for us, is perfect in that it is from the 1950's and 1960's. There is also an outside area for those who wish to make the most of the sun. As well as ice cream and lollies there are home made cakes (including gluten free) and crisps as well as hot foods. Breakfasts, lunches and roasts on a Sunday are all offered. I had a home made fruit scone with home made strawberry jam as well as clotted cream and it was delicious. My mother had a bowl of chips which were piping hot and some of the best she has tasted. Food is brought to the table and it is a pleasant setting in which to eat. Both hot and cold drinks are available. Portions are more than generous. Some customers thought the service a little slow but could it be that we are too used to the fast food culture and forget that not everything has to be done quickly but to stop and savour it sometimes. The Cafe is both child, disabled and dog friendly.

Popped with girlfriend for lunch, been meaning to visit for ages during lunchtime. Looks lovely within, spacious, warm, inviting. This could be a frequent future cafe I thought for myself working nearby.Looked at the specials board, asked about a vegetarian option on the roast, waitress went and asked someone in kitchen. Had fellow waitress come out and question, rather abruptly as to what I was asking for. I asked simply and politely if there was a vegetarian option on the roast like at other establishments, like a nut roast or such. I was told no, but there is next week. Not much use to me. But it was the facial expression and tone of voice in response to me that was very off putting. So, I ordered an omelette as did my girlfriend, asking what we could have in it as there was no apparent list. 'Anything' was the reply. OK, not much help. Then the suggestion of items to add. I settled for cheese and mushroom. My girlfriend a cheese and ham. This was our entire order that the waitress then said she had to write down so she wouldn't forget. OK, fair enough.About 10 minutes later out comes our food and I have a ham and mushroom omelette. My girlfriends omelette was correct. So, I return to the counter to say it's got ham in it to be told I ordered a ham and mushroom omelette, which I replied, I'm vegetarian hence why I asked for the vegetarian option on the roast. Not sure how the order was got wrong as she made an issue of writing it down!Reluctance was exuded, impoliteness was given throughout my experience. Back came my order, so my girlfriend was eating way before I, and placed down with not a word said. Just appalling communication skills from our server. I had my fork on the plate when I first returned it, it came back without fork. I went to the counter, asked for a fork and got a knife and fork. That just added to the whole feeling of not being listened to nor understood.Working in the public communications industry I was appalled and my experience leaving me feeling that I would never return. In one fell swoop any future business from myself was removed from possibility. Just terrible, which is a massive shame, I went it really wanting to like the place. It's rare I complain publicly about any location, but this deserved it.My advice would be to make sure the communication of your staff doesn't give off the feeling of minimal effort on their part.Really not enthused.

The cafe is situated in the middle of their site, has a surprisingly large dining area featuring a cosy log fire, sofas and a well-stocked bookshelf. Given it's a brand new operation, we were impressed by the speed of service from the friendly staff, and the quality of the food. We ordered the full breakfasts which were delicious. Cannot say anything about the rest of the menu at this point, other than the cakes on display looked good. Look forward to returning to sample their cream tea....

Nice cafe with very friendly service. It's quite small but there's an outside window to order to-go from, which is a brilliant idea. Our food was ok. I ordered pancakes which were nice but not normal pancakes, more cakey. My mum ordered a cake and my review was that it tasted healthy. It's not bad at all, but there are better places for food in the area

Authentic Italian food, delicious and full of options for gluten free and vegetarian. I had fried cardoons -amazing- followed by delicious Marzara prawns pasta, but I managed to get a bite of many other things, including fish and pizza and everything was fantastic. Dessert was a variation of tiramisu with pistachio cream - and coda di aragosta with a cream of ricotta cheese. The best Italian place In London I visited so far. I will definitely be back!

Lots of character in this pub - I love the vibe of the clientele and the vibe. However, the bartender couldn’t have been more disinterested in service. I politely asked if I could taste a beer. Her sighs were exasperating after my request and she reluctantly slammed glass on the counter. I felt like I was asking for a kidney donation. I brushed it off and thanked her profusely after my order, with a smile. Came back later for another round and it was even worse. At best, she was having a bad night but there are still basic ways of treating customers so they don’t feel like intruders.
