This is a fantastic place for brunch with the family. Very friendly/welcoming and very generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend.

We had breakfast here before visiting Harry Potter Studios and had a friendly welcome, great value good food and the best coffee I have had in a cafe ever. Honestly, I wish I didn't live 100miles away!

I went with my daughters and we had jacket potato and we were very happy with our food. The staff were nice and friendly. I didn’t know they had redecorated the place and changed the table and chairs. It looked new and different from other cafes. We will definitely visit again. ☺️

We called into Courtlands Cafe today after a long walk. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was served reasonably quickly. Taste and quality was very good. Portions are huge! Amazing value for money and great coffee too. We definitely recommend this cafe.

Great cafe, best in the area. Under new management with new menu coming soon. Old seating now gone with new chairs and table fitted out. All looks very smart.

Had a visit in here this morning for a breakfast and omelette with my wife, very happy with the service and food. I must note this is temporarily cash only. Had a small issue trying to find cash today but was resolved in the end. Food was fantastic and very tasty. Thank you

Ordered a number 1 and a number 3 with extra hash browns, it was the perfect portion for each me and my mum, the price was fantastic for what we got aswell. On top of a fantastic breakfast the owner kindly gave us a free refill on our drinks. I’d really recommend this place to anyone.

New owners! Ordered set menu breakfast, poor! Bacon flat and like leather shoe sole, tomatoes had no taste at all.! Toast burnt with no butter, . Coffee tasteless. Beware they will charge extra for coffee, despite being included in the set menu!! Guess I won't be visiting again. Shame the old owners left. Pretty good quality before.

Really pleasantly surprised at this cafe. This was the first time we went despite living locally and the food was sooooo good! The food came quick and the service was really good too. Highly recommend if you’re local or visiting Harry Potter as it’s not too far from there!

Food is excellent ! I eat there a lot. my only criticism is the portions are too big. no, I know you dont have to finish it, but you do and come out feeling overfull. Still go regularly fro breakfast and for lunch

Used to go here when it was owned by the old owners and it was the best cafe in Watford but since it has changed hands I have never eaten such bad food!!!! Ordered the special of the day (roast chicken and chips with salad) I ate 1 bite of the chicken and nearly broke a tooth it was that tough not the 1st time I've ate in there but decided to give it another try...wish I never!!!!

I had a visitor from overseas who wanted to do and eat all things British ... so a full English breakfast in a local cafe seemed appropriate enough! The cafe was busy when we came in during the week as lots of work men were in but we managed to get a table and the waitress was prompt in taking our order. The food was simple but good and filled us for the day ahead.

Used to be our favourite place to get together on a weekend but I think there are new owners now who have let things go downhill and wont be visiting again :(

Popped into the cafe for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Will use this cafe again

I like this cafe but it never opens on time. It's so hit and miss so if you are an early bird and want breakfast before you go to work then go somewhere else. What's the point in advertising the opening time of 7am when you never do! Very annoying.

my husband and I regularly pop in as it is relatively local for us. I am partial to brunches and in particular fry ups. They offer quite a range of meals ranging from beans on toast to Sunday roasts. Prices are very competitive and fair. It is usually packed. Tea is great but they also do milk shakes and the usual cans of pop. I love their number 5 breakfast (which includes bubble and squeak). For £5.95 it includes tea and 2 rounds of toast.

What a find for us. We went before going to Harry Potter studios on recommendation of the security guard (we thank you sir) . Monster milkshakes and a great brekkie which set us up for the day. If you've not been before, make sure you go next time you're in the area.

I just love courtlands cafe. One of the best cafes in town! The food is yummy and the portions are generous. Fast service, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I can't fault the place. 11 out of 10!!!

Popped in on Saturday to grab a breakfast, so many of my friends now use this place I never eat alone in here, foods good, the waitresses very cheerful and chatty. The food's good and good value too.
