I went there with my wife for dinner and we would say best dosa ever in London. Manager Abhinav & team is absolutely fantastic people they are very nice, kind and welcoming and food taste and quality is awesome. Must visit for vegetarian dosa lover.

Visiting Watford for a week. Was walking around town and high street for a place to eat and found Crispy Dosa. Ordered Guntur panner, panner Dosa, masala kasava - they were all dry, should have ordered some curry. The taste was good. Also got kulfi (on a stick) - tasted good, and paan (was not fresh, was old and dry, couldn't swallow, had to spit it away). I was pleasantly surprised to know the staff spoke my mother tongue, easy to order. Will recommend if you are craving for lighter Indian food.

They serve the best Masala Dosa ever in Watford.

Booked a table via Google, but didn't need to. Two staff greeted us, which was unnecessary, but the food was great. Passion fruit juice tasted salty. Food was not too spicy. About 1/4 of the menu was vegan. I would go again.

Very disappointed that this is the 3rd time they do not give red onions with Chole bhatura , only white, they do not understand that it has to be red that goes with this dish. They just don’t care what the customer wants. Will not be going back now again.

Very Poor- I being in crispy dosa watford on 14/12/2024,after having food, i got the bill with extra Service charge - 10%, what's that? VAT is already there 20%, and dish price ,why this restaurant is charging extra 10 % service charge from everyone?

Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with Crispy Dosa in Watford. I placed an order for collection via Just Eat and asked if I could eat in the restaurant instead, as it was extremely cold outside and I was on my way to work. I even offered to pay extra for dining in, but the manager refused outright, showing no flexibility or consideration for the situation. This lack of customer care was shocking and left me feeling very unwelcome. In such freezing weather, a little kindness would have gone a long way, especially since I was willing to pay for the privilege. I won’t be returning and certainly can’t recommend a place with such poor hospitality.

The atmosphere is great and the people are very welcoming. Our hostess seated us and the waiter came and took our order and helped us pick the food. Her suggestions were on point. Extremely glad with our experience.

Best South Indian restaurant in Watford

Please come here if you want very poor and slow service. Requested for all food to be mild. It was spicy beyond belief. Food was served at different times and we all ended eating separately. They should have brought food altogether. Bear in mind you will need to request tissues and cutlery constantly. Note to management, stop being so tight and hire more staff, and train them! Awful evening here

I’m originally from Chennai and have craved Indian food since my move to the UK. I visited crisis dosa and my cravings were fully satisfied. The food was authentic and close to home. Waiters were very pleasant to talk to and quick service Serving portions were good quantity and very reasonably priced menu. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone missing home.!

This Indian restaurant is located in the heart of Watford town center. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They have enough seating for about 50 pax. The food was over priced, and didn’t taste authentic. The chutney I got along the vada was watery, same with the Sambar I got with the idly. I wasn’t happy with the food. Edited 19/11/24 Popped in to grab some Medhu Vada, it was by far the best in the UK. Last time I had and wasn’t happy about it. Staff is always helpful and supportive. Great job

Great options, delicious food, prompt and attentive staff, the manager(Anna Malai) gave personal attention to cater for faster turnaround. Nestled in centre of town centre, hence only paid parking options in vicinity. For parking if bill exceeds £25, they arrange to refund for parking. Highly recommended

Excellent breakfast buffet I had today. Will be returning again for sure

Came with my friend and both of us were really looking forward to sampling their dosas and thalis. We were seated fairly promptly but it took ages for any waitress to take our orders. After another while, we were told by one waitress that they couldn't fulfil one of our dishes so we looked through the menu to decide on an alternative dish. Meanwhile, the dosa that we intended to share between us arrived. The first waitress hadn't taken our amended order and we didn't want that particular dosa because it would have been paneer overload since our second choice thali included paneer too. A second waitress told us that we had to have that dosa because it was made/served. The whole experience was terrible. There was no attention from the waiting staff, not made to feel welcome, made to wait over 30 mins simply to order, capped off by not taking our amended order and told we had to accept a dish because it was already made. We walked out. Unacceptable and extremely unsatisfactory service. Neither of us will be visiting this restaurant and any other in the chain - if there are any.

So disappointed. Wanted a masala dosa for breakfast and they brought out a tiny pancake with a tiny amount of potato inside and told me to get dal and chutney from the breakfast buffet table. I didn't want a breakfast buffet, I just wanted a normal sized dosa. The dal that I had to use from the breakfast buffet table was cold and unpleasant, as was the potato dosa filling. For this I was charged £10.99.... The breakfast buffet charge. If I had been given what I actually wanted it would have cost much less and I would have received a larger serving. Not good guys, sort it out. I won't be returning anytime soon

Very disappointed with our dinner last night. Celebrating a birthday, most of the dishes had run out our we're unavailable (table booked at 7.30). Alcohol drinks very poor (would be better not to serve them). Staff under trained (but b nice & polite). Food very average. Masala Dosa were big but had beer little filling. Most of the starters had the same sauce so all tasted the same. Service average Value for money...... NOT Sorry Cristy Dosa, we were very disappointed.

The food was good but the service was disgusting. The manager was awful also the girl felt like she was asked every for a roti we have to wait foe 15 min and me told that plz do volume low then the manager is telling that we will not do it

The food was delicious, however the ambience of the restaurant was awful. The music was too loud and when we asked them to reduce it a little bit the manager came and said they cant do anything about it. The hospitality of the staff was awfull, they served main-course before the starter.
