As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Hylton and made very welcome. The dining experience was a true journey of very high quality cornish produce. Each dish was explained in detail of the produce. Truly a Michelin Star experience. Thank you to Hylton and his amazing team.

Outstanding food delivered in a lovely dining room. The tables are arranged around Hilton’s kitchen and watching your next course being prepared adds to the anticipation. Each course was fabulous, as was the wine chosen to pair it. This restaurant is a ‘must visit’ for all food fans.

An intimate setting that gave a very personalised experience with the chef preparing the food in front of you. All food locally sourced and foraged daily to give variety on the menu. All the courses were interesting and fully explained at the table. A journey of delight with pleasure in every bite

Having previously dined here in the evening we thought it was time to try the lunchtime tasting menu and what a fabulous experience it was! It is slightly shorter than the evening taster but equally thoughtful, inventive and absolutely delicious. This really is an exceptional restaurant run by a small, incredibly talented team. We’re already looking forward to our next visit…

What a fantastic restaurant experience this was, truly memorable! my wife and I visited as a pre-Christmas treat and enjoyed their exciting and truly innovative tasting menu. Every course was a revelation, the venison dish was simply the best I have ever had. As for the pumpkin desert this was off the scale, the first time in years I have eaten something which had a truly unique flavour that I had not experienced before, food alchemy at work!! Hilton the head chef was engaging and always there to provide us with the finer details and provenance of each dish. We have visited all the fine dining restaurants in the South West and Culture was light years ahead, the pricing was very reasonable also considering the effort gone into each dish. We will definitely be back.

Our second time eating at Culture and once again we were blown away. The menu is carefully curated with a story and background to each course and every ingredient. The flavours are incredible, the team here are at the very top of their game and you leave feeling like you’ve experienced something very very special. We cannot wait to come back next year, eating at Culture is an event

Had a bit of trouble finding it! An interesting experience. Food extremely tasty. Couldn’t hear what was being said about the food very well. Fascinating watching Hylton the chef cook with such ease. Really enjoyed the food. One or two items I wouldn’t normally eat but there it was all delicious. Very clean and attractively done. I wouldn’t eat there regularly but only because of its uniqueness so needs to be kept for special occasions. Will be back and definitely recommend.

A repeat visit to this wonderful restaurant for a special evening. The team excelled and each course resonated with balance and a very well deserved quiet confidence, with a depth of locally drawn flavours. We were lucky enough to be there when the locally caught Blue Fin Tuna was on offer. The wine flight, again, is the very highly recommended. Five stars and thank you

As locals, we absolutely loved our meal here last night. For us, the highlight dishes were the bread and the venison. Beautifully cooked, fantastic flavours and great presentation. The owner brought out the dishes and explained them to us and he was so friendly and chatty. Another highlight was the wine flight which I would really recommend having with the meal. The wine choices were so well chosen - different flavours that I had never experienced before. The service was impeccable and the ambience of the restaurant was relaxing and welcoming. I would throughly recommend coming here and in fact we have booked to come again in a few months time.

Utterly astounding evening. We have been fortunate enough to eat in some great restaurants and Culture is right up there with the best. If Culture was in London or NY it would be a must-visit with all the critical acclaim that goes with it. All guests arrive for a 7pm start. This means the serving is controlled and happens for each table simultaneously. The 'Journey' is a food trip through the Falmouth locality. Each supplier is known and local - from the fishing boat to the potter who was commissioned for the tableware. Hylton Epsey has created something wonderful. The open kitchen means you watch him work, he delivers food and collects empty plates, chats with you as he does so. For the experience you have, its superb value for money. Highly recommended to visitors both local and from far and wide.

We were looking for an interesting food experience with a 'fine dining' vibe and that was what we got at Culture. The 5 course tasting menu was skilfully and beautifully prepared. The patrons clearly had a total passion for celebrating the best of local produce and the wine flight to accompany each course was also fab! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a food experience that will be remembered for all the right reasons. Definitely deserves being in the Michelin Guide.

We visited Culture during our recent holiday to Falmouth, and we had an amazing experience and every course was a surprise. One of our favourite courses was the potato. Never tasted potatoes so good. The chef Hylton Espey and Bobby looked after us well, explaining all the dishes. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Falmouth. Thank you for a fantastic evening.

Went for dinner with three friends and had the wine pairing with the 7 course meal. Beautiful food and very attentive and engaging service. Third visit and will be back.
