Out of the curries I've had I highly recommend the Dansak for some incredible taste and heat or the Korma for creamy coconut goodness 😋

In Dagenham on business, and came across curry mahal whilst out for a walk. The staff are super polite and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Ordered a kebab starter, chicken jalfrezi, rice and a naan. Portion size was ideal for me as I was very hungry. I was blown away by the quality of the food, full of flavour and a treat for the taste buds. I love Indian food and living in Leicester, I have had some of the best. This knocks the socks off any of them. best curry I have had in years. Cannot wait to come back to Dagenham!

Wont deliver 3 miles from restaurant, yet delivered no problem last friday. I was told we are too far away. Food is mediocore. Dont bother using this place

This place really deserves at least 7-8 Stars . Foid was just unbelievable, service was brilliant, extremely friendly polite & understanding Would Highly Recommend to anyone who likes and appreciates quality food at great prices.

The food is usually pretty fresh and good (when the guy on the phone don't get it wrong and make excuses about bad lines) and the delivery driver is the most amazing guy, always seems happy and surprised of any tips in the many times he's come here. However, the guy answering the phone is literally an idiot, half of the time you ask for home delivery and get 20-30 mins wait time an hour later you call up and he can't hear you it's a bad line, call up again why haven't you picked it up, remind him it was home delivery and bad line again. If you don't want to do home delivery don't offer it? After 4th time this happened in a month, just decided to go to another place who low and behold the line is perfect and has no issues

Glad I find this place, food was really really nice and proper Indian food unlike brick lane who is there only to serve you rubbish food and to steal your money. Staff were welcoming and well manned with great service. Definitely will make this my local Indian restaurant from now on. Also to top it off the bill was half price.

Living just round the corner to the Curry Mahal, we are very privileged to have this great restaurant on our doorstep. As a family, we have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed with the food or service. You usually get served very swiftly and the service is spot on. The food is fabulous. Would recommend!!!

Lovel 4 course meal here pop and dips shami /sheak Kebab Lamb Rogan Josh with Bombay potatoes and Garlic Bread And a desert with pistachio nuts and ice cream. Sit in with great service.

Top notch Indian nosh. Everything was cooked to perfection and I could taste the fresh quality of the spices and meat. Highlights of my first visit, but not last, were the Chicken Kashmir (the way it tasted 40 years ago) the Dupiaza, Meat Biryani and the Tandoori Roti - but can't fault any of the food or service.

I've had many Indian food from other places around the UK, but will never forget the service and quality of food from this place. They have the best onion bhajis! Whenever I come home to visit I don't feel complete unless I've had some food here! Before moving away I used to come here every year for my birthday! :)

Was disappointed with the lamb madras chewy not tender how it should be, also had lamb starter that was the same, even though it sais its half price still expensive for what you get won't be going back.

I’m absolutely baffled at how this place has got really good reviews. We got an order from here and if I could give it less stars I would. My favourite food is Indian cuisine and we decided to try somewhere different to our usual takeaway. Ordered for collection as soon as they opened. Never again! The food was oiley, bland and was all cold. Had to be reheated in the microwave. The samosas were essentially greasy mince, no spice or flavour and peas wrapped in burnt pastry. The onion bhaji was dry and really doughy (again no flavour), the Madras curry tasted like green chilli and coriander and not a lot else. Swimming in oil! The chicken was tender and the rice was ok. But to say I am disappointed is a understatement. I even said to my husband “it’s very rare to get a bad Indian.” How wrong was I? Both me and my husband already have stomach pains. If you want a decent takeaway I suggest you try Bayleaf.

I did enjoy most of the food but the bombay aloo potatoes were very overcooked and the lamb bhuna didn't have much taste.Very pricey and not much food even with 30% off.

Ordered couple of curries and side orders Food was cold and onion bhajis and meat samosas were full of grease and samosas had no taste what so ever. Would certainly not recommend. Only ordered here by accident as normal take away is in the same street

Booked a table for 18:30, finally got our starters at 20:00, mains at 20:27 service is ridiculous, there were 2 people that were vegan & when we asked the waiter what was in the food he was totally clueless. Asked if there was any dairy or egg in certain dishes & he said no, We had 2 Nan breads & a portion of chips missing from our order & got told wait 2 minutes when it arrived it was covered in butter (not suitable for vegans like he said it was) also the chicken tikka came out on a hot plate like they do but this was served to my 7 year old who burned herself on it, waiter smiled & apologised & walked off, I had to ask for ice to place on her burn. We had to ask for drinks as they never asked if we wanted any & no curtesy call at all. Would definitely not be going back.

I am not local to this restaurant but was in the area and looking for somewhere to eat. I saw some positve reviews on Tripadvisor and am so pleased I did as had I walked past the restaurant, I probably would have kept walking. The staff were friendly and it was the best indian meal I have had in a very long time. I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live - if it were, I'd definately be a regular. Delicious meal which I will be talking about for a long time!

Best curry house around food and staff are brill

I went here based on TA reviews and trying to avoid those that are clearly fake, a big TA problem currently. Anyhow this is a genuine review. I was staying at The Premier Inn just down the road and rather than Brewers Fayre, I preferred something better. To be honest when I went in I though it looked just a tiny bit shabby but once inside it's pleasant enough. When I realised there were lots of locals eating and clearly well known to staff I knew it would be good. I had a medium chicken dish with plain rice and roti. The food was excellent, tasty and altogether an enjoyable meal and nothing to fault. With regards to pricing I felt the menu was very fairly priced for what was on offer, but when I got the bill the food was half price as they have a special offer on. You couldn't cook it yourself for this price. When I'm back in Dagenham I have no hesitation in returning. If you are staying at the Premier Inn please don't do as I did and got a taxi, it takes longer to drive than it does to walk, but I hadn't a clue where it was!

Traditional Indian/Bangladeshi food. Lovely food and wonderful service

A very nice restaurant with great food. Poppadoms were not salty compared to others. It was nice for the tikka massala to come out orange rather than full of colourings. Also it was not loaded with sugar either so you get the full taste of the spices. Will defo be coming back

This is the 2nd time this month we have ordered a takeaway as we have lots of birthdays to cater for and its a nice treat. We ordered plenty for 10 of us, the first meal was great and couldn't be faulted however the last one was very poor. Very greasy, poor quality, not much chicken & seemed to be done by different chef. Will be thinking twice before ordering again & with such a large amount of food. Not the usual standard.

Lost their way. Didn't care if I had a good or bad meal. It was pretty awful experience from the poor service to the food where I could get a fork into it. Using the term 'Curry house' is an insult to curry houses. And as someone else already stated.. burnt food.. they really don't want your business . Avoid

Yet another great meal...food is 10/10...if you love curry you’ll be hard pressed to find a better curry house

This is a cosy small resturant, the 1st to.open in the area over 30yrs ago, the decor is oldie worldly and comfortable. Their food is freshly made, hot and reallly tasty, the staff are attentive but leave you alone to enjoy your company and meal. You pay half the price stated on the menu and they also gave us hot towels a complementary drink when we had finished eating. There's wheelchair access and they make sure the chair user is with their company and are comfortable. I recomend you give this Indian Resturant a try, I'm certain you don't be dissapointed. Booking is recomended as it does get busy.

I have a soft spot for this place, I had my first curry here in back in 1988. Some of the very same staff still here. Decent enough typical curry house dishes and really friendly service. Don't get here often these days but still enjoy it when I do.

The best curry restaurant in the country

Firstly this review is 100% genuine and solely my opinion.I have recently been here for a meal and it was lovely.I had poppadoms to start and then a Chicken Tikka Massala with pillau rice.The meal was lovely and couldn't fault it.The restaurant was full and the special offer of half price makes this restaurant exceptional value.Perhaps service could be a little friendlier.I would not hesitate to return.

Very good food and the staff is very friendly. Went on a literature tour with a large group and this is where we decided to come for dinner. The wait for the food wasn’t very long and we all got our food half price because of how big our group was.

I went on a literature trip and was staying at the Premier Inn down the road. My group and I decided to get Indian for dinner and wound up at this restaurant. The space isn’t big, but they accomodated our large group without any fuss and they have many delicious options for my vegan friends who said the dishes were delicious. The food was amazing and well-seasoned. The waiters were kind and even gave our group a discount on the bill because of how large we were.

Great food.....Half price most days....Excellent service...Highly recommend...Not the easiest place to find a parking space, but we always manage

Have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. Staff are polite and friendly. Food is really nice. Sometimes the naan bread is a little bit burnt but other than that everything's good. Good quality and good price 👍

Quite late in the evening, popped in on the off chance after a few beers. warm welcome from staff and seated quickly. Offered poppadums' and sauces while choosing our meal.

Descubrimos este restaurante del Premier Inn cruzando la calle. Hemos estado tres veces este año y nos ha parecido excelente cada vez. La mitad del precio de cada oferta día parece ser un truco pero el resultado final es un muy vivamente comida razonable con muy buena comida y servicio. Las bebidas también tienen una buena relación calidad-precio. He pagado menos aquí que para nuestra comida para llevar local. La última visita para 6 adultos, incluyendo platos principales, entradas y lados más dos botellas de vino y cervezas era de £83. Parece que fue establecido en 1980 y ha cambiado poco desde entonces probablemente. La decoración es sencilla y me gustaría ver los aseos reformado, pero sin duda lo recomendaría.

When we walked in we were met with the most miserable person. served by what we thought was a mute who could only do his top button up wrote order down on bellly and never spoke food was awful service abismal would never go back I suggest the buffet restaurant just up the road much better

Been eating here for 29 years. Islam and the lovely ray always friendly and attentive, if not always happy with a dish they will always change it. My husband and I always find the food very good.
