Curryzma in Sutton

Honestly one of the worst curries I have ever had. I shall never re order from this establishment.

We came for a family birthday meal, but it is our restaurant of choice for all occasions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food beautifully presented. As a vegetarian I can recommend the paneer shashlik, but there are many delicious choices to be made.

I had a delicious chicken tikka masala, rice & naan delivered. Generous portions, hot & free poppadoms. Will definitely order again

No he tomado comida para llevar de esta casa de curry por un tiempo, pero mirando el menú, los precios habían subido un poco desde entonces. Sin embargo, una vez que la comida había llegado, aunque un poco tarde ya que mi dirección es un dolor de encontrar, el costo fue muy superado por la calidad... Golpear curry, incluso el dip de pepino era ridículamente bueno, picante y sabroso curry, y muy bueno en general. Definitivamente restaurado a mi mejor casa de curry local.

Excellent food, ambience and service! The host was welcoming and ensured everything was to our liking. Would especially recommend the prawn curry and refreshing mango lassi!

Although I'd driven past it countless times, this was the first time we'd tried this restaurant and it delivered in terms of food quality and size of helpings, service, decoration and ambience. It was fairly full during our visit, so clearly a popular choice for many others also. I would certainly recommend it based on this visit.

Very nice halal restaurant which is changing its name to Spice Garden.

I ordered two completely different curry dishes for take away and they were awful! They were watery and flavourless. They both tasted the same which was amazing seeing one was supposed to be a Pathia and the other was their chefs special. The bill came to about £22 so it wasn't cheap either! I felt completely let down and will never go to them again. The service is better because the lady serving was nice and friendly....but she is selling awful curry!

It was good, not the best I've ever had but it was tasty and hot. We ate at 6.30pm and we were only 2 couples eating.

I've always liked this restaraunt. It's now under new management - love the updated decor and the food was divine as always. Especially the shahi begum. Some new interesting dishes to try. I went for a paneer pathia for something different, very nice, great spice level and loved the tamarind. Everything we ordered was lovely :) great service. Will be back!

As a group of friends we thoroughly enjoyed our curry evening together here. The ambience was very attractive with beautifully laid tables and such a warm welcome. Our food was delicious and the portions were large, freshly cooked and well presented. We all admired the deeply coloured pottery plates which complemented the decor in colour. Several of our group visited the ladies cloakroom and reported it was the best they had ever visited! The two professional and friendly sisters who run Curryzma do a brilliant job and we wish them continued success.

Absolutely amazing! The interior is lovely and well decorated. The two sisters are wonderful, you can really tell they care about their clients and the food. The food itself was really delicious, everything tasted amazing, the onion bhajis were so good, the Rezalla curry was delicious and had a nice kick to it, and lastly the paneer was so nice. Cannot recommend enough if you’re in the area!

This restaurant has been under new ownership for about seven months. I wish them all the best for the future. Three of us went with two celebrating birthdays. Wow what a wonderful experience. The service and staff were excellent and very friendly. The owner was very attentive. The ambiance had a sophisticated feel. With great piped music with a jazz saxophone theme. Now for the food. Absolutely scrumptious. The prawn cocktail and lamb shank especially worthy of mention. After our main course the birthday guests at our table were served complimentary desserts with the staff singing happy birthday. It is all the small detail that counts and there was plenty. Thanks for a great evening and we will definitely be back.

We came here on Wednesday for a birthday gathering! I’ve always loved Curryzma especially their set menu. We were greeted so lovely on arrival by the new owner! It’s now run by 2 sisters who plan to change the name! But my goodness everything is so delicious, even better than old curryzma! She was so sweet, friendly and was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had! She checked on us every second, surprised me with a birthday desert and even gave a free birthday drink! The food was to die for!!!! You get so much bang for your buck and with hospitality like that you cannot go wrong! Thankyou so much for making my night memorable!

We went for our work christmas party to curryzma today. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the food was great and the service by the owner and staff, impeccable. Even though some of our food was delayed due to the number of people, the owner was very apologetic and offered us complimentary drinks. The taste of the food was great and we had so much variety that we were spoilt for choice. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant

The food was amazing, the best prawn purée I’ve ever eaten, in fact all the food was delicious. We were there to celebrate a 21st birthday but will be returning for any excuse. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The bill was very reasonable and the sisters who own it were lovely. Definitely a 5 star experience.

This could have been a lower rating but the owners pulled it back, we had a very long wait for our food which was sort of ok as we were busy chatting, the owners both kept us informed of what was happening although our orders did get mixed up but they gave us a free round of drinks, the food when it came was very good, fresh ingredients, great quality and the prices were ok, it is under new management run by 2 sisters and they both kept us informed plus later on stood chatting with us. The atmosphere and decor were to our taste and very nice and the music was good too. We all enjoyed the evening and have said we will definitely go back

Excellent food and great service, the staff were very friendly. I was recommended the Pani Puri as a starter by the staff, which I had not heard of before, and it was as delicious as they had described, it did not disappoint at all! In fact, all of the food was delicious and not too oily either. It was also excellent value and the portions were very generous too. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

We ordered a few dishes from here, delivered very quickly and was hot We ordered korma and tikka masala both were ok, but we found the colour of the korma a little pale and very coconuty Onion bhaji was a little bit overcooked, whereas the samosa looked slightly undercooked but tasted nice.

We visited this lovely restaurant with family and friends to celebrate a 21st birthday .I can highly recommend this place as one of the best for miles around the food is flavorsome, delicious and plentiful at a reasonable price .The celebration was made extra special with the kindness of staff and owners . Under New Management !! Amazing food and Great friendly atmosphere. Curries are very tasty and less oily compared to other restaurants I’ve tried. Highly recommended.

Hatten eine Nacht in Sutten und haben nach einem Restaurant gesucht und sind hier rausgekommen! Ich muss sagen das beste indische essen was wir je gegessen haben. Sehr schönes Ambiente, nette Kellner/in und hervoragendes essen! Schade das es in Deutschland nicht so einen guten Inder gibt!

One of my favourite places now. Been a fan of Indian food for a while now and food here just feels home cooked. Every lamb dish is to die for (personal preference). The waiting staff is super nice and you can tell they are welcoming and happy to have you there! The sophisticated decoration creates such a nice vibe, love it.

Had a lovely meal with the family the other day. The food was scrumptious and healthy. The decor was classy. The new owner sisters Farah and Sarah was so accommodating and looked after us well. We felt at ease and stayed till late. But there was no rushing and they had genuine smiles on their faces. Cant wait to be back again.

Worth 5 stars. The food is delicious and the service top class. Nothing too much trouble. They work hard to ensure everyone has an enjoyable evening out. Well done all.

Amazing, new management have turned this place around! Superb food and amazingly well priced. Best indian food I have had in a long time. Everything tastes fresh and perfectly cooked. Will become a weekly staple.

I would have given 6 stars for service if I could 😄. Such friendly ladies running the restaurant, nothing too much trouble! We loved every dish we were served. Love the atmosphere and pretty decor and looking forward to returning soon with family.

I have to say I throughly enjoyed my takeaway curry this evening - I used to use this restaurant regularly until it went downhill and I haven’t returned in 6 months but after a recommendation to try again because it is under new management I tried it and I am glad I did 😃 The new owners definitely know how to cook a yummy curry 😋. We will be returning for sure ✔️ Great food Great service Cannot comment on the atmosphere but it did look clean and the new sofa is comfy 👍 Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed 😋

Under new management, and this restaurant, which has always been on our radar, now exceeds all expectations.. The ambience is good and the staff attentive.. Food is excellent , a great choice at competitive prices.. Thoroughly recommend.

Usual great food and friendly staff. Food always tasty, lots of flavour without being over hot, gives you the chance to enjoy the subtle spices without being smothered by the burn...If you want it hot they'll do it but I prefer the flavours.

Visited the CURRYZMA on Saturday evening and it was fabulous. Food delicious, service friendly and good atmosphere. The best Indian restaurant in Sutton, I've been to on a long time.

First visit here definitely will not be the last Superb setting atmosphere & service but then the food!!! Amazing enjoyed every delicious mouthful chicken Naga & Tandorri mix grill Cannot wait to return

Not sure how this got a 4.3 average rating 🤔 Firstly...had a red house wine. Tasted like it had no alcohol in it...like watered down? Second....mixed starter had gristly meat in it. Third....lamb shank...OK but not the best sauce at all. Fourth....asked for a VAT receipt...they couldn't give me one....even though its a legal right to ask for one. Guess they don't pay VAT. Anyone from HMRC on here?? Not good....must be better around here in Sutton?

A great taste, I enjoyed every dish we tried. The place was packed and the service was very good. The recommendation from the waited was excellent, the quality and quantity is great. Lamb Bryani and mix Bryani are excellent choices if you like rice

Ordered from here on 20/03/2022 and in response to my just eat review they replied to say I was just after a refund. I received watery curry that tastes so bland due to everything swimming in all that liquid. I had to start draining it off into a container as it was spilling over the sides of the plate! In my opinion to contain so much water it had to of been frozen prior to us receiving it. It didn’t taste anything like a takeaway curry. I usually go somewhere else but thought I’d try Curryzma as they had 10% off. I guess you get what you pay for. Shame it won’t allow me to Upload the photos I have, keeps saying cannot upload photos. In response to your reply, I left the original review on just eat on 20/03/2022 (the same day as the order was made). Don’t give me frozen watery soup and pass it off as curry and I won’t ask for a refund.

We had very warm customer service, and were explained the menu completely. We had lamb samosas to start, the chef's special fish, was delicious.All came quickly and were delicious. It's not only good price but also you get very nice food, good service and a nice atmosphere in return. 5*

We visited this restaurant yesterday, 6 of us in the party. Food was just amazing and the staff were brilliant, especially the boss who had us laughing all evening. Will definitely be back there very soon.

Just returned after having a nice dinner at this restaurant. Authentic Indian food and polite, courteous staff. The serving time was quite fast. Usually i assume this place would be very busy. Strongly recommend

Dishonest - do not support I never write a review, but due to the dishonesty we experienced we want to bring this to everyone's attention. The only reason we visited Curryzma was in order to support local businesses, specifically the scheme Amex (American Express) was running for a few days during December 2021 to support local businesses by their "shop small" scheme. Upon arrival, paying for our food with our Amex card, AFTER the transaction was already approved and gone off the Amex card, I was told that they do not accept Amex cards. I questioned this as this restaurant was listed on Amex list of approved businesses for the "shop small" scheme and the Amex sign was showing on the card machine. I was told they cancelled their contract with Amex and that I need to come back the next day to speak to the manager if I want more information. I showed him the amount that was charged to the Amex card, but he said it was cancelled and it will come back to my card. Now this is pure dishonesty in my eyes as they use Amex to attract customers but upon arrival when the customer want to pay using your Amex card they conveniently don't accept Amex cards. And the fact that the transaction had already gone through and was cancelled ONLY because they don't want to use Amex (which we all know charges are a bit higher than other cards and that is the reason they don't accept Amex cards) is unacceptable whilst it is convenient and acceptable to get business via the Amex scheme. For this reason we will never ever visit this restaurant again, and may whatever they deserve come their way.

An honest traditional Curryzma in Belmont . All the classics, plus own specialties on the rich menu. Reasonable prices and quick service

Great decoration and cleanliness, the food was tasty, would have loved slightly bigger portions for the curries, and definitely a bigger portion for the chaat. The staff were very nice too! Recommend

Very disappointed with the food it was bland and tasteless no spices, the rice tasted of butter wont be eating from there again. I have eaten enough dishes in the past to actually know what I'm talking about, so I'm afraid I wont be recommending them.

This was myself and my fiancés first visit and will definitely be ordering from here again! I had a chicken Madras and my partner had a chicken tikka masala, both very tasty! We also had the meat samosas, mixed starters and special rice, couldn't fault any of it! Yummm!!!

Lovely decor, clean and good service but in my opinion the food is a bit of a let down for the price. Never been charged for poppadoms before. Starters we had onion bhajis which were very oily and contained very little onion. Partner had two scrappy very overdone lamb chops. Mains were average but I've had much better for half the price. Wouldn't go again.

Absolute joke of a place to order from! Waited an hour and a half for my order and still didn’t receive anything! Told my order was on the way but nothing turned up. Phoned the restaurant numerous times but no answer. Ended up waiting over 2 hours just in case it decided to turn up, but nothing. Won’t be ordering from here again! Quick enough to take my money though!

I have eaten in many Indian restaurants but the food in CURRYZMA was the most authentic in flavors. The tandoori sea bass was perfectly spiced and crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside and absolutely delicious. Service was very good our waiter...
