Pedí el té más popular. Me dieron menta fresca y té negro refrescante y delicioso. También tenía una rebanada de pastel de Basbousa (Semolina) que era delicioso y no demasiado dulce.

La comida se ve genial. Tenía el bagel con queso crema y salmón, muy bonito. Mi esposa tenía pan plano haluomi que disfrutaba. También tenía un buen café blanco plano. Servicio muy lento, aunque en un momento tranquilo. Vale la pena intentarlo.

Limpio, bien cuidado, un servicio amable y atento sin ser demasiado soportando de todos modos... . nuestra primera visita, pero volveremos! Menú completo... y grandes bebidas.

Heard about this place from the hotel staff and some friends, so we figured we'd give it a shot – and I'm glad we did! We're not dealing with any allergies, but it was nice to see a bunch of alternatives on the menu. The waiter was real attentive, double-checking about any food sensitivities. Service was as quick as a Texas two-step – our food and drinks were on the table before we knew it. Everything was top-notch, especially the Fateh – you can't miss out on that. Plus, they've got Wifi and places to plug in, perfect for sipping coffee and getting some work done. The atmosphere was as lively as a rodeo, but the service didn't miss a beat. I'd tip my hat to this place any day, and we'll be sure to drop by again next time we're in town.

This cafe feels quite upmarket, more like a restaurant really and has restaurant quality service. You are shown to a seat, and orders taken at the table. We had mixed meze, but there's loads of choices - food is fresh and delicious and the coffee is excellent - strong but not bitter at all - and amazing baklava to finish. Nice mix of people in there and has a friendly atmosphere.

Poor service and they gave Free baclava and £3 off the bill pathetic They thought that was satisfactory . They were not even busy !!

We are regular visitors of Damascena in the JQ and I cannot recommended it enough. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have a huge variety of drinks to cater to all tastes. The service is quick and efficient. The whole team is extremely friendly especially Mhd Mayar who has always got a smile on his face. If you are near the JQ and looking for a place to eat / have a coffee don't miss Damascena.

Excellent place for a hot drink or juice. I absolutely loved the manakeesh and the kibbeh. Only downside was the seating arrangements but then again it was only a small space. Food did take a while too but was worth the wait!

Very poor service. I have waited for 15 minutes for the waiter then been told that the food will take another 40. Absolute joke.

This was recommended to us by the hotel and by friends, so we gave it a go and it did not disappointment. We don't have any allergies but there were many alternatives and the waiter did also ask and check. Service was good, food and drinks came quickly, it was delicious and fresh, the Fatteh was delicious. They had Wifi and plug points, so you can enjoy a coffee and work. Love the atmosphere, it was busy but service was good. Definitely recommend and we would visit again if we're in the area again.
