Dan Dans Caribbean Restaurant in Waltham Forest

I ordered a salt fish patty from a member of staff. When I was given my Pattie in a take away bag I didn’t check it until I was out of the place. Pattie was very very soggy and when I bit into it I got a mouthful of lamb mince!! The Pattie was clearly microwaved and not fresh. Very disappointed.

The food and drink here is absolutely exquisite. We were silent the whole time because it tasted so good. They didn’t take long to serve us either

Solo obtuve una comida para llevar de este lugar, lo que fue una pérdida de dinero, la cabra al curry fue la peor que he comido antes, pero no se recomendaría este lugar a nadie. Una pérdida total de dinero.

Excellent food, had curried goat rice n peas, also brought Currys to take home, as we don't have a carribean take away

Visité esta tienda para llevar todo parecía estar bien en la entrada hasta que me encontré con una chica joven y miserable piel clara jugando en su I Pad. Al momento en que ordené mi comida, cuando volví a mi auto noté que mi pedido no era correcto. Luego volví a la tienda para preguntar qué estaba pasando y solicité que se corrija la orden. Esto luego se convirtió en una pequeña discusión entre mi yo y el frente de la casa y algunos gritos de la cocina, esto continuó por más de media hora de espera A lo largo de los años, he notado que las tiendas caribeñas están surgiendo pero que esta tienda no es duradera. Es un excelente ejemplo de por qué las empresas están fallando. Esta tienda tiene personal rudo. No hay servicio al cliente y no se atiende a las necesidades del cliente. Lo triste es que la comida es impredecible y no hay consistencia con los sabores y el equilibrio es MAIZ con sal. Si busca un buen servicio de atención al cliente y comida sabrosa, intente con Brown Eagle, que acaba de abrir otra de su cadena en el área local. Por favor, no malgastes tu dinero en esta tienda! ! ! ! !

Had the jerk chicken with rice and peas The chicken seemed to be hot but once I got to the bone that was cold . This comes from not reheating the chicken properly, Spent the rest of the night worrying if I would get food poisoning and luckily I didn’t I should add this was a takeaway.

I recently ordered calalloo with rice and peas to take away. Somehow between the front counter and the kitchen the order got changed to calalloo and plain rice. When I rang up I did receive an apology for this mistake. I found the calalloo very salty, both the fish and the spinach, therefore I did not enjoy it. So I compared it to some I ordered elsewhere; that spinach was not salty and contained plenty of sweet pepper, carrot and onion. So you can do better, Dan Dans!

Ordered tonight via Hungry House and would highly recommend. Food was delicious, piping hot and good portion size. Delivery was also really efficient. We had jerk chicken, chicken stew, rice & peas and mac & cheese, can’t wait to have again! Rum punch is good too!

Went to Dan Dans for the first time as I read some good reviews we had 2 jerk chicken and 1 curry coat 3soft drinks all the food was very nice and good service £21 you can't go wrong will definitely be going back

Newly opened great place The food is reasonably priced the only squabble I have is on my visit the were young children behind the counter and the service was a little poor but food is DELICIOUS

Have used Dan Dans three times now for take away and every meal has been consistently good. Hot, spicy and full of flavour. Manish water, jerk chicken, oxtail, rice and peas, patties - so tasty.

I recently visited this restaurant having heard some lovely reviews. I booked a table for 4 and we all tried a different dish. I had the special chicken which was amazing! The flavours were fantastic! The others had Jerk chicken, Brown stew fish and Curry Goat. Everyone loved their dishes and we all can't wait to go back! The service was lovely and the music was fab! Great to have an authentic Caribbean restaurant in Chingford.

This is not authentic Caribbean food, as I am of Jamaican heritage myself. The food is unflavoured and just outright disgusting! Total waste of money and I will never be visiting here ever again! They really need to fix up and sort there food out!!!!!!

Great food, cosy environment, friendly staff..I went to the fish fry fridays, I thought I couldn't finish my meal when I saw my plate but I actually wanted more....Good flavours, Fresh and amazing

both myself and my partner were really ill during the nite because of this food. I saw people going in and out of the kitchen with their outdoor clothes on, no evidence of overalls etc I question the food hygiene standards and warn people eating...

Had a lovely meal here one Saturday night with my friend, the lady working was lovely and we had a good chat with her was made to feel very welcome. I had oxtail and rice and peas with some mac n cheese to share,my friend...

Been there a few times now and I absolutely love it... it's hard to find friendly staff and good food in a Caribbean restaurant these days..love the Jerk Pasta and the curry goat..friendly staff, good food and good prices...what else can I ask for...keep it...
