A seriously lovely little shop. Such delicious, rich and lovely chocolate in a ton of varieties. Very decent coffee and friendly staff, who helped explain the different kind of chocolate. If you love good quality chocolate, this is a must visit.

I bought some chocolates for a friend on the 24th December 2021. It was never delivered, I thought first that due to Christmas, it was probably delayed, but after contacting them and not getting a reply, I thoguht this was a fake website.. After chekcing here, it looks like they actually exist, however, customer service, and delivery sevice at least for me, they are useless, items didn't arrive, customer service didn't reply... since this is public, will they contact me? Order number #W80681 Edited : at the same time of publishing here, I send them an email. They told me the person dealing with the info email is no longer in the company and my original request was somehow lost, but they have explain that to me, and refund the money and .. something else.... They have fixed the issue using their channels, so great for dealing with this issues in this way!!

Expensive, but worth it given it is actually something different! Hot chocolate come straight from the cocoa and I LOVED my drinks! Solid place for a quick drink!

Came here during the pandemic, was open for takeaway. The drinks were out of this world! Shame it has shut, but there is a smaller branch five minutes down the road!

Great ice cream and the chilli chocolate truffles are simply the best! Highly recommend you give them a try.

Oh my, I have not had a mint gelato like this since Sicily. Big strips of chocolate. Divine. My mouth is watering thinking about this. We had two scoops, it was a bit too much. I had mine with Pistachio and it was the mint that blew my mind. Thank you

This shop is very welcoming with all doors open and an extensive selection of craft chocolates on display including vegan options. I loved the vegan stem ginger and honey. You have to try the hot chocolate - you get to choose from chili (delicious), cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger plus the plain classic. Whatever hot chocolate you choose, it will topped off with a fistful of freshly shaved mix of white, dark and milk chocolate. Enjoy!

I purchased a mocha coffee, it was the best mocha I have ever had. Beautiful coffee, smooth and creamy. Topped with shaved white, milk and dark chocolate. Really a must visit.

I stumbled on this place by chance during my last trip to London - what a find! Wonderful, delicious, handmade chocolates of all types. This family-run business is well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed. I will try and stop there each and every time that I am in London.

Meandering down Brick Lane, reminiscing about time spent here 30yrs ago, we stumbled on Dark Sugars - a wonderful surprise! Awesome range of beautiful, beautiful chocolates - colours, shapes, flavours and finishes galore - an absolute delight. It was the middle of winter and cold outside, so treated ourselves to chocolates and a hot chocolate drink, decadently filled with real chocolate shavings! It’s quite rustic inside - lots of ‘natural’ wood used for furniture and displaying chocolates. Quite liked it - had a homely feel to it. Have reviewed as Very Good, largely because it was a great surprise and because the chocolates are beautifully crafted and the ones we chose were delicious. Service was fine - not particularly energetic or friendly - just fine. Would be great to have more seating in the near empty space at the back of the shop and to the side, or even in the open area where drinks orders are made. Would be good to sit and savour the experience and flavour in comfort. I’d visit again if in the area - a unique treasure!

This place is just perfect. Good family run vibe and service. Hot chocolate was creamy and rich. Really good location.

Highly recommended!! The jinjer cup is wonderful, best with the orange truffle . He shop is beautiful, and he flavour of the dark chocolate is somewhere between the best and the absolutely heavenly taste

Tried the other branch on 141 which was disappointing. I was impressed here as the girls were friendly and all their hot chocolates were consistent.

This is a must visit! The selection of chocolate is so different than most chocolate shops but it's so good and fresh! We recommend purchasing by weight versus their boxes that are "pre-priced" to fill with a certain amount of pieces as we all received...

If you like chocolate, hot or not - this is an absolute must. Hands down the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had and I keep coming back. Staff weren’t on their usual top form today but nobody’s perfect. I still rate this place highly.
