Delicious in Weymouth and Portland

Attended a port and cheese tasting session. I learned so much about the art of port production, how it has changed over the years and how to appreciate the port you like.

Fabulous. Great service with knowledgeable staff who will listen to what you like and match that to their products. It's worth every penny.

What a wonderful hidden gem. Myself and two friends have a great evening, we were all pretty unsure on what wine we wanted and were open to trying something new. The owner brought out wines for us after a quick discussion on what we usually drink, they were all fantastic, and the food was phenomenal. We had a sharing board between us and we left nothing!

A very classy lunch option in Weymouth which has just become our go to. There was nothing that wasn't exceptional, platter, wine and service. Can't believe we haven't been before, it'll now be a regular lunch by the harbour.

Amazing! We were moored on a boat opposite for the weekend so very convenient, me and my husband rocked up late afternoon on a Friday and asked if they could fit us in for dinner at 19.30 , no problem at all !! We order several dishes all were perfect, fresh ,hot, well presented, authentic tapas and fabulous music! I'd go as fat as to say the best tapas this side of Spain 🇪🇸 👍🙌

We visited before a gig at Weymouth Pavillion which is only a 5 min walk away. We had a couple of glasses of wine and the vegetarian grazing board which had really generous portions of cheddar, Brie and blue cheese with sides. The wine was really nice and the person behind the bar was so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a deli board to share which was more than ample and delicious. Served with a bottle of house rose - the perfect Sunday lunch on a sunny afternoon. We’ll be back!

Good service, great wine and good food

We have been meaning to try this wine bar for some time and are glad we did. It was lovely sitting out looking across the harbour with a glass of wine or two and the delicious deli platter. Highly recommended

Fabulous sharing platters served by friendly staff. The deli platter had a generous selection of cheeses and meats and the fish platter was delicious especially the hot smoked trout and the homemade mackerel pate. We were the first customers to try the fish platter and we would definitely recommend it. Two platters between four of us was a generous amount of food

The cheese and wine here are just amazing, gorgeous views of the harbour, host incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The perfect way to spend a chilled Saturday afternoon in Weymouth.

Every visit we make to Weymouth includes a stop (or two) at Vinolo. Great wine selections that can be accompanied with perfectly curated charcuterie or cheese grazing platters. Lovely views overlooking the harbour. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, I really can't recommend highly enough.

SIX hair strands on my platter. Waiter was rude and dismissive. Saw me picking a hair off the cheese didn’t say a word. Felt overwhelmed by his rudeness. Lack of people skills.

What an amazing find on a hot day in Weymouth, lovely place to watch the world go by, some Prosecco, Beer and the cheese and charcuterie sharing board, washed down with the lovely house Bordeaux, life doesn’t get any better than this. I have been visiting in and around Weymouth 4 or 5 times a year for the last 5 years. Visited with the wife this evening and this is without doubt the best service, food and atmosphere we have experienced here to date. We had the charcuterie and cheese board and everything was exceptional. It had the feeling of a small family run business but with the professional edge of similar establishments in London. It's a simple menu which allows the team to focus on quality and service. I tend to get irritated by the minor things which could have been done slightly better but can honestly say I couldn't find a single fault with Vinolo, not one. They have an extensive gin menu (50 I believe) and a wine list that should staify anyone's needs as well as all being at a good price point. The musician this evening was also very good, blazing stings was it? It all added up to a very enjoyable evening. In a nutshell, great ingredients, great staff, great atmosphere and zero frustration. You should be very proud of that you have built here. We'll definitely be back. Especially for fondue Fridays! Thanks for a great night and good luck with everything.

Superb lunch. We stopped in for coffee on the off chance, got talking to a couple who were having lunch there, and having seen the cheeseboard they ordered we decided to stop for lunch. We had the combined deli/cheese board, with a glass of wine, which was excellent. I can thoroughly recommend this as a lunch venue, and we shall certainly return.

We’ve been to a couple of special evenings at Delicious and they’re absolutely awesome! Very well supported and the host is very knowledgable on what he’s discussing! Port and Gin so far and looking forward to the Rum night!

We have been to 2 of there theme nights the port evening and the gin evening. Have to say we have loved both of them and learned a lot will defo be using regular a total hidden gem that should be supported.. well done and thank you...

Amazing cheese and meats - went for the deluxe cheese board and well worth the money (reasonably priced for the quality and amount you get). Friendly atmosphere and owner, who interacted with every table throughout the afternoon to ensure everyone was happy and showed genuine interest of the guests which really added to the experience there.

Wow, what a wonderful place! Was recommended this for lunch by our Guest House owners and they were spot on! If you love Cheese or Charcuterie, Wine or Beer this place is great! Our platter of 3 or each was ‘Delicious’! Stuffed ourselves with and washed down with good wine and beer. Highly recommended!

Food, wine and location excellent. Service left something to be desired. For these prices I would expect smartly dressed attentive staff. Great potential but a little attention to detail would make it outstanding.

This is the second time I’ve eaten here recently I think the food and wine is good but the portions are on the small side for the prices they chargeIt also a shame that they didn’t participate in the eat out August government scheme...Not so sure we will support you in the winter months

Sat overlooking the harbour with friends devouring the best sharer I’ve ever eaten! No scrimping on the bread and a lovely plentiful board of cheese & charcuterie. Fresh and where possible, local produce. Friendly and knowledgeable service. What a glorious evening.

Fantastic selection of cheese and wines and gins. Lovely friendly owner and staff . Such a treat to be able to sit outside along the harbour this year enjoying our favourite treat . Lovely tranquil garden at the rear of this restaurant away from the crowds as well.

We visited 3 times during our week in Weymouth (end of July 2020) and it was definitely our favourite place! Always a warm welcome and excellent food and wine. We loved nothing more than a relaxed lunchtime visit, sat in the harbourside sunshine, to enjoy a fine bottle of red wine, accompanied by a baked camembert and a cheese board. We have booked to return to Weymouth next year, mainly because of the lovely times we spent at Delicious this year. Well worth a visit!

Cannot recommend Delicious enough. In our current times, Carl delivered safely to our gate and all the cheese was fabulous and accompanied by beautiful wine too. Thank you for outstanding service x

Evening meal with friends which I didn’t book. It is just basically cheese and biscuits to eat, the quality of which are excellent with good meats. But not quite what I would choose. The only other thing on the menu was a beef dish which they were out of. More a snack place then a proper neal

Good wine however... Very cramped for the size of the party. Changed his mind about the initial discounted price for a large group so the agreed price went up when paying the bill at the end? Refused to give back a deposit for two people who could not attend even though over 48hrs notice was given. Nowhere was it mentioned deposits are non refundable. Lost customers - never again.

My partner got me a voucher for this place for my birthday a few weeks ago, so over xmas we tried it out , Had a deluxe cheeseboard for two , with half a dozen cheeses , crackers, chutney, quince, the owner came over, and explained to us what the individual cheeses were, and where they were from etc, it made a lovely change from the norm , all washed down with a couple of glasses of gin , from the very extensive drinks menu , nice.

Wow what a different way to spend Sunday lunch ,--- enjoying a delicious cheese fondue --- highly recommend --- something totally different for Sunday lunch . Enjoyable wine , friendly service & lovely surroundings.

Went for a fondue evening last night and as I'm Swiss I had high expections which were fulfilled! Absolutely fantastic fondue and wine we were able to enjoy and as we were still peckish they filled the fondue pot up again! Would highly recommend to anyone. Hopefully in the future they'll also offer raclette but until then, I shall be back for more fondue! Service was outstanding too.

I visit frequently during the daytime for coffee, cake and sometimes we have something from the lunchtime menu. We’re always made very welcome by Carl, who has created a unique setting for Weymouth. Everything served is of the highest quality and to be savoured not just simply devoured!

I popped in for lunch today. I had a goats cheese with honey and walnut sandwich. It was DE licious. Lovely place, lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly too. My new fave place in Weymouth. Xxx

We have been visiting this place on holiday since it opened, very unique to Weymouth and offers that something different, now in its new bigger premises on the harbour, which is what this place deserved to be, eat inside or outside in the lovely garden, vast range of wines, gins and cheese selections, this place deserves a visit if your after fine quality, the owner Carl is a wonderful friendly and knowledgeable man, his hard work has really paid off and may your success continue, ❤️ from Birmingham and really hope to see those pan Asian dishes on the menu next year

I have visited here on a few occasions for drinks and sometimes the cheese platters. The owner is very passionate about his business which shows with the enthusiasm and knowledge he serves his wares with! If you appreciate excellent quality drinks and cheese served with finesse this is your place!

A group of 12 booked in for gin tasting and it was advertised with nibbles. It was £22pp. Sadly 2 had to pull out so only 10 made it. Evening was great and we tried 5 different gins which were really good. Half way through the night a friend asked when the nibbles were coming out. She got a reply of “later”. We then got moaned at for being too loud and he didn’t want to have to raise his voice as he had work the next day! After all the gin tasting, we were very hungry and wanting our nibbles. We were told the cracker delivery hadn’t arrived but he would be happy to knock £2 off each cheese board if we did want food. After paying £22, I was not happy to then pay another £13 for a cheese board when it was advertised to have nibbles! Lovely night ruined.

Myself and my partner Emma have just had an amazingly chilled out lunch at Delicious. I can honestly say that the cheese and ham ploughmans was the best I've ever had. It was soooo good! If you haven't been there yet then I'd definitely suggest you do so :D

We went here as a group for a friend's birthday lunch, and ended up staying all afternoon. Service was efficient and speedy in spite of the care that evidently goes into creating the beautiful platters. It was a lovely relaxed environment - we stayed indoors, but the garden area looks beautiful too. And the wine... wow! a really well chosen list. I'm massively keen to do a wine tasting here one day.

Want somewhere to go for a fantastic choice of cheeses or share a selection of cheeses, charcuterie, pickles, sun dried tomatoes and olives with a lovely bottle of wine, then this is the place to go.

I went here last night with a group of friends. We had an amazing selection of cheese, cold meats, pickles, sun blushed tomato and olives with crackers and bread. And gin. And wine!!! The food was fabulous, it's very sociable to sit chatting and picking and sharing food. Staff were excellent and friendly. I saw the outside seating area before I left, that looks lovely and I must sit out there next time a visit. When you want something a bit different, not just pub grub, try this place out. Oh and you can have a doggy bag to bring your left over cheese home.

I treated my mum to the Italian wine tasting evening. It was a great night! Carl is a good host, friendly and in control. I found some guests a bit rude in turning up late, making a fuss about where they were sitting etc. If you're in a large group you should arrive early to get the seats you desire! I found Carl dealt with the situation well. The guy who held the wine tasting session was really interesting and I found his stories enjoyable and tasting the wine was of course the best bit! Closely followed by the cheese board which was actually delicious! We would love to return and would definitely attend another wine tasting evening. There is plenty of seating, a lovely outdoor area and lots of goodies to take with you.

Thank you so much to Carl at Delicious for a great lunch last Friday with friends. We loved the deli boards and in particular the fabulous and unusual cheeses (so much so I had to buy some to bring home!) The wine choice here is excellent too but the warm welcome stands out and friendly service. We will be back on our next visit to Weymouth in August.

What an amazing deli!! Firstly the guy who served us was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever been served by, his smile was infectious and he was very knowledgable about what he was serving. There were 7 of us who went, one being a child and none of us could fault it! We had two sharing platters and left absolutely stuffed. The cheese lovers platter is absolutely incredible, I’ve never ate so much cheese in my life and it was such good value for money! I would 1000% recommend this gem of a shop and we will be back!! A must place to eat when visiting Weymouth!

Excellent cheese lovers board, loads of choice, at least 12 different cheeses, went well with bottle of Spanish wine in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Can’t wait for the next visit.

Went for the fondue and wine night. Staff incredibly friendly, especially the owner. Genuinely lovely man. Couldn't do enough for us, Great prices, value for money on point. The selection of food that came with the fondue was amazing. The selection was better than what i had in Switzerland where fondue originates!!

Visited Delicious a few times now and impressed every time! The platters are “delicious” and the wine selection is fantastic with advice from Carl as to which wines you may like and a friendly relaxed atmosphere especially in the new venue overlooking the harbour!! Can’t wait to attend the wine tasting and many more visits.

Have been coming here the last 3 years whilst on holiday , if you love your wine and cheese this is the place to be , cheese boards are lush and lots of different things to buy that are locally made , the owner is fantastic and his hard work has really paid off, one of my fave shops in Weymouth

After having to postpone on a couple of occasions, we finally made it down to Delicious on Friday evening for Fondue Friday, on offer as part of the Feast event in Weymouth.

Excellent sandwichs and drinks. Stumbled across on the way to the seafront. Will definitely return. Good deli as well cheese and wines galore.

I headed for my favourite coffee chain (won't say which) to kill some time while waiting for my husband, but couldn't get a table. I was so glad I found this far better place instead. Wasn't intending to eat, but had the toasted sandwich. The owner told me that the Cheddar cheese was strong, and so it was - which is exactly how I like it. While I was ordering the sandwich I spotted a moist-looking cake, which turned out to be a gluten free drizzle cake, so I asked for a slice to take away. When I ate it later in the day, it was truly delicious. Then, when I was about to leave, a few customers came in for ice creams, and I was very tempted by a cone - had a lovely salted caramel ice cream. So my coffee stop turned into something more. Altogether a great place, with an excellent selection of cheeses and cakes. Will definitely go back next time we're in Weymouth.

Stumbled across this whilst looking for a quick coffee & ice cream stop on Saturday evening with friends, & so pleased we did.. Immediately upgraded my thoughts of coffee to a glass of wine from the great list on offer. Didn't eat, but the cheeses all look so yummy & will definitely be back frequently. The owner couldn't do enough, & we had a lovely chat. They offer a fab loyalty scheme so if you are local it's worth using this; the more you visit, the better rewards they give you! Me and my partner love this little deli. We pop in after work for a cup of coffee which is quite a blend you must try it. And my husband has an ale which are made in dorset. Treat yourselves to a sharing platter you won t be disappointed there amazing. Look forwards to coming again soon.

I stumbled across this place with my son and we really enjoyed out lunch. lovely presentation of a cheese board with unusual breads/biscuits, nice wine and a bright contemporary place to eat. I was surprised that it wasnt busier, but think maybe the menu needs better marketing as we couldnt fault the place!

I only had coffee and it was bloody great, the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about not only the coffee but the other products he was selling. I loved the way that the wine was categorised by "occasion" such as 'long week', 'night on the sofa' etc which adds a little quirky humour to the place rather than the usual "region". He stocks a lot of local, South West products which is always good to see. The seating area was very comfortable with a relaxed feel to the place.

Carl, the owner, knows his stuff and has a good selection of wines not found in the supermarket and a fabulous range of cheeses! The coffee is good as well.

If you love great cheese, great wine and great customer service you absolutely must visit Delicious!
