For a gym eatery the food really is excellent, good choice and freshly cooked. All the staff are friendly and appreciate the fact you are using them. Very clean and fresh. Worth a visit.

We were looking for somewhere to take a light lunch. We had previously used Greggs which is across the street from this place. By the way the sandwiches in Greggs were much better than anticipated but expectations were low. I commute past Destination Gym every day and had wondered what the cafe was like. Inside the cafe looked inviting, and expectations were raised. I chose a beef, mushroom and gnocchi dish, from a selection which declared they were made fresh every day. My partner chose a fish and chips ciabatta from the specials board. When it arrived the fish looked fantastic and the proof, in the eating, confirmed this appraisal. My beef got off a poor start as the first gnocchi I ate was a little tough, a consequence of being warmed up I think. However from then on the beef was a delight. Tender, tasty and really well seasoned. The drinks, coffee and fruit tea, equally good. The staff were friendly and attentive. One down side was that the cafe shares space with the gym, separated by a partition, and the music was a bit too loud and imbecilic. We will definitely return as it is convenient, and some of the menu items looked tempting, but I may consider ear plugs. The building used to be an Aldi and is opposite a MacDonalds, why Destination Cafe is relatively quiet, and MacDonalds is busy is quite confusing as prices are similar.

We eat here 2-3 times a week and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and the menu is to die for. The staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome, even if you’re not a member at the gym. I can recommend making sure you look to see what’s on the specials board before ordering. Keep being amazing Destination.

Extremely accommodating to our mum group, we were made to feel so welcome which is not always the case at other venues with 5+ babies and toddlers. Food was delicious and well priced. Dietary requirements understood. Plenty of parking. Nice decor and lots of natural light, you don’t feel like you are sat inside the gym.

The peri chicken was incredible, tremendous flavour, and the rice was decent. I'd definitely recommend trying it.

I have always loved a F &B’s breakfast so we went there this morning for breakfast for my husband’s birthday. However, unfortunately the menu has completely changed and they no long offer a traditional English breakfast (bacon/sausage/beans etc.) It is also much more expensive. I have no idea why F &B would change this but I’m afraid it is certainly misguided and I feel many people will stop going for breakfast at least. The choice now does not resemble an English breakfast and I know it is an American/Italian restaurant but I do feel that you need to offer people what they love. The staff were amazing and I felt so sorry for them as we decided to leave breakfast and to go to Willow which did a gorgeous traditional breakfast. I do hope Frankie and Benny’s reconsider this terrible decision.

Very disappointed with my recent visit here. Had to wait a very long time for our drinks, had to wait even longer for starters & then there was an even longer wait for our mains. The reason is because this restaurant prioritises online orders. Time & again Deliveroo or Ubereats people were coming in to collect orders that were all stacked up in the kitchen area. Meanwhile the people in the restaurant who had gone out if their way to come here were made to wait. Several people around us complained, nobody seemed to be happy & everyone just looked fed up with the poor service. You need to do better & whoever is managing this place needs to step up & put the people sat in the restaurant first!
