Devoncliffs in Charnwood

Regular here, and has been always good, however went on Christmas eve, cafe was empty however the service was terrible ordered a hot chocolate and veggie breakfast, told them I wanted the hot chocolate and breakfast at the same time, the guy brought the hot chocolate out 20 mins before the breakfast and took nearly 20 mins to bring the breakfast out, even when the cafe was literally empty.

Lovely spot. Dog friendly. Hot, decent portions of food with really, really, lovely staff. How Petra put up with my continuous orders for decaf coffee without pouring it over me is beyond me. 🤣 Great place, great friends, great time.

Me and my daughter purchased some sushi pots on a Sunday at 12.00 she ate them within an hour of purchasing and after 1/2 hour was violently sick them again after a further 15 minutes, contacted both Asda and the sushi company and they both just blamed each other, I have informed environmental health hopefully they will get to the bottom of it, it’s put us both off for life would never eat anything for them again

I feel lonely and lost person now since got no parents now both gone for good Edward whiting passed away and my mum janet whiting passed away it big step for myself too sit on my own in loughborough restaurants just all myself too eat my lunch time restaurants food table for one and bars and bar and grill place's table for 1 person

Recently bought this "Big" Chicken and Mushroom pie. Never had a problem with these pies before, have to admit, they are the best but was very disappointed with this one. Wasn't much in the way of filling, didn't rise as it should, (was saggy in the middle) had a "soggy" bottom and didn't have much chicken but did have a lot of mushrooms, as in my picture. Overall not impressed by this pie considering it is supposed to be "Big". Not worth the money it costs in my opinion.
