Food is expensive and terrible. Stopped by for lunch as working near by. Waited around 15 mins for a cheeseburger and chips and a salt n chilli chicken with chips which was already sitting in the hot plate. Oven chips burnt to a crisp. Both meals ended up in the bin. Save yourself money and nip in to the co-op next door. £15 wasted

Visited whilst walking fife pilgrims way and glad of the refreshment stop after that hill! Fantastic rolls and coffee, service and value for money. Liked it so much, visited again after completing walk. Remembered by staff and made very welcome once again. 5 *

Visited today with my mum and son, a super friendly place all the staff took time to speak to my 9 month old. We had breakfast it was delicious rolls are so incredibly soft, slice sausage is really good quality and they also serve tea leaf tea in a tea pot - the old classics are the best! Whether sitting in or taking away it’s a must visit! Couldnt recommended this place highly enough uber clean and exceptional value for money.

Visited Dickson's, recommended by friend, glad I listened, this place is extra special, Clean, fresh and glass displays show s great range of cakes, and pie,Bridie, etc oven with a fresh range of savouries, there are also takeaway sandwiches available. I had Chicken nuggets covered in a delicious curry sauce, with chunky chips made to order, my friend had chicken mayonise, with a fresh side salad which looked delicious. The property has a wooden outside which makes it look like a log cabin, the interior is bright, clean and fresh with well cleaned toilet, staff we're very friendly and tables and chairs were spotless.

Fabulous find on our way from East Lothian up to Dundee. Lunch was delicious. I had the Light and tasty batter on the Haddock. Great chunky chips and peas. Very friendly staff and customers. Wish this was near our wee golf course in Musselburgh. 😉 Will stop by again if we are in Ladybank for sure. Thanks Kirsty,Phil and Theo.

This is the best coffee shop in St Andrews - but only in terms of the coffee and the food. I love the drinks and the bagels especially are *french kiss* but I would love to be able to come and sit, and enjoy my bagel at a table. The issue is that the already limited seating is taken up by students who have pretty much always finished their drinks. I really think it would be a good idea to have maybe half of the seats reserved for people who just want to come and sit for 10 minutes to have a drink because the shop itself is so nice and clearly very well finished. As a student myself I know there are plenty of study spaces in town so a study free area surely wouldn't meet much resistance? I for one would visit the cafe much more often, instead of just for takeaways. That said, the staff are amazing and the coffee is superb.

My husband and I visited here today and ordered a cup of spicy lentil soup and a sandwich cost £10 each. The food arrived and my cup of soup was only half full and my husband's 3/4 full.I took my soup back and was told you only get one ladle.I said it should be a cupful as stated but was told no.I went back to my seat but was livid as I hate to be ripped off.I asked for the manager and the guy on the till said I will give you more soup which he did.The soup was lovely and the sandwiches also good made with lovely bread. The guy came over to take the plates and said he was sorry he upset me and I said you didn't upset me and I had been annoyed at being done.He apologised and offered me a free lunch.I advised I am only here for the day.The next thing he was back with 2 sweets in a box with forks and napkins to eat later.I thanked him for the cakes. We had them with coffee later on and delicious. I don't know the guys name but you have restored my faith in humanity and the cafe.We will visit again and encourage others to do so also.Thank you for your understanding.
