I have had a number of lunches at Dishoom recently, for work and social occassions. The food is of a consistently excellent standard and the service is great. I woudl highly recommend this restaurant

Lovely & Beautiful setting. We had the Black Dhal & Goan Monkfish curry which was delicious. Masala paratha & Roomali roti were very tasty. Paneer was disappointing, not well done but the pomegranate & peanut topping was nice. Wonderful service especially. Will definitely be back soon to try the coconut dessert😊

I went to Dishoom it was very crowded but the host was helpful, and I didn’t wait a long time. I ordered Chicken Ruby and Chicken Biryani it was good but it also overpriced. The dishes are small and the price is expensive.

Love Dishoom. Chicken Ruby, Cheese Naan and Chilli Chicken are my go to! This location is great been coming here when I'm in town for the last 3 years and will continue. It can get busy so book in advance if possible especially Friday and Saturday nights. Just wish there was more free parking close by. There are some road bays and a carpark but roadworks are making parking an issue. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken biryani – it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, with the low lighting creating a truly atmospheric and relaxing ambiance. The service was incredibly efficient and friendly, and we felt well taken care of. I can't fault it at all. The staff and food were excellent. Friends had highly recommended it for lunch, and I wasn't disappointed. It's definitely worth a visit.

Service at dishoom is always amazing and the food is brilliant but today was our favourite visit yet. Auni our server was just the best, so friendly and relaxed serviced just made us feel so welcomed.

Had the best brunch here the nan rolls! Bottomless chai which is some of the best I have had, great ginger kick. Becca was super helpful and kind too!

Finally went back to Dishoom this December and we were pretty disappointed. Downgrading food to 3 stars. Menu changed, poppadoms look like Doritos out of a bag. Atmosphere still lovely but this now seems like any other chain so time to move on. Old review: Amazing from start to finish. Excellent vegetarian options & wonderful cocktails. Best raita I have ever tasted. The chili cheese toast & grilled malai mushrooms are amazing. Mattar paneer is delicious too.

A great place for lunch, dinner or simply drinks. The interior has a sense of faded decadence and the service is excellent. So many things are great choices but I would recommend the. Black dahl, it is divine. Ask about the dice if you're there in the week. IYKYK

A cozy dark ambiance with real candlelight. The Murg Malai Tikka is delicious, and the Okra Fries with chutney are a standout. Great spot for a memorable dining experience.

The food was really nice and the lady who saved me was really polite making sure the food came out quickly l would like to say thank you to her this was the first time l had eaten here l would highly recommend eating here as the food was great and it’s not that expensive it’s not McDonald’s cheap but you get what you pay for good service and quality good food thank you when l visit Manchester again I will passby

We loved it here. We ordered from the vegan menu and everything we ate was so delicious. Our favourites were the gunpowder potatoes and the pillowy soft roti. The atmosphere is so nice, it's really low lit and they've got a pleasant smoky incense burning, it's really atmospheric and relaxing. The service was really efficient and friendly, we felt really taken care of. I'd definitely return - and soon

Lovely interior with a lot of tables without feeling crowded. The menu has a good selection of different dishes to choose from, and was well explained to us by our waiter. The food was great in both taste and presentation - skillfully prepared dishes that never stray too much from an authentic experience. Staff were mostly attentive, though we experienced not receiving our drinks, and had to ask specifically for them after the food had arrived. In addition to this our waiter never asked us how the food was. In fact nobody did until we were nearly done eating. This was disappointing, but didn’t impact the experience all that much. I’m looking forward to coming back again next time I visit Manchester!

Had an amazing dinner last night with family at dishoom. We tried out some signature dishes of them and started off with spicy chicken. The spicy ck was spicy and really tasty. We ordered some curries ( monkfish, mutton and berry chicken) all of them were so buttery and delicious. However, I don’t think the portion was big enough to share (as I thought). Would 100% going back again for family dinner as it’d be better for sharing.

Dishroom reminded me of the United Coffee house in Delhi/ Cyberhub, Harayana. Great food, service and atmosphere.love it. Wish there was one in Plymouth.

Been here numerous times for evening meal, cant fault it. Great staff and food. Got told by friends have to go for breakfast, wasn't disappointed. Well worth going. Had the sausage & Egg naan. 😋😋😋. Struggled to get a booking for breakfast as its that popular.

Incredible experience! The food was amazing. Jennifer and Tay took SUCH good care of us and our 4-year old daughter. They checked in on us frequently in a non-obnoxious way. They were informative about the area when asked for recommendations (our first time here) and super friendly throughout our visit. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you again!

This was my first experience of Dishoom and was as expected. the food is delicious the chef special lamb shank had a great flavor, tge chicken gravy with cheese garlic nan was great, aswell as the okra fries.

I love Dishoom but this was the first time at Manchester. I didn't rate the service at all and the food was sub par compared to other Dishoom's. Considerably smaller portion sizes and the samosa starter was not properly warm, had a greasiness which was unpleasant and the filling was full of bone/@hard pieces. Not great at all. Main tasted good but was small. Didn't appreciate the service charge being applied for just one person. I asked for water twice and that never materialised. Poor compared to other branches.

Our waiter was fantastic, very knowledgeable of Dishooms menu, first time in and he helped us throughout… we will be back 👌
