They may serve the best Peroni in the land!!! You could tell the lines were cleaned regularly as the beer was unbelievable. The staff go over and beyond; really friendly was made to feel like family. I was served by Donna and Krystal who honestly made the whole experience amazing. They spent some time chatting to me and promoting some events that were coming up that were of interest to me. Overall a great experience looking forward to returning.

Such a lovely pub to be in everyone is so nice and welcoming they can’t do enough for you my kids are welcome there too it’s just such a lovely pub and I couldn’t recommend it enough Iv held a party here too and the help I received to make sure everything ran smoothly was unbelievable thank you so much to all the staff x

A lovely local village pub! Great atmosphere with lots of different events throughout the year and choices of drinks….just what our village needed! Great cosy pub with lots of character and a friendly atmosphere. The regulars are comedy gold, the staff are so attentive and the beer garden (patio) is always immaculate and a great sun trap for a pint. The pizzas are a great addition to the pub as well

I booked dog and gun for my hubby's 60th birthday very nice place to be fare didn't know it was there keri Ryan and another bloke ran the bar very friendly very obliging staff check it out for party we had around 60 quest bit snug but u had fire exit door to pub garden which smokers loved one happy hubby thanks on behalf of my self and hubby Mr &Mrs shield

This is a very old one....I used to rent a room in the cottage over the road from The Dog & Gun in the late 90's...I was made very welcome stright away and bieng from Yorkshire as well I cant remember names but I loved this pub and the lads that took me stock car racing with with them to Northhampton and the old lad with the Labrador who loved eating Quavers.....funny old memories

This is a lovely pub in Enderby full of locals that are all polite. Drinks are good priced and very friendly staff.

First time at this pub.went in for a cold pint after a long walk and sat in the beer garden which was very clean and comfortable along with the inside of the pub too landlady very friendly and polite....

Just popped in for a pint... or two... on the way back from watching Epworth Ladies FC win their first game. Good atmosphere, friendly landlord and a good choice of beers, highly recommend.

Cosy, decent pub, bit of character, friendly locals, open in the afternoons & Eric the whippet likes it too. Decent annual local music festival, cask ale Mondays (cheap beer!). Although I would prefer a bigger range of draught real ales.

The Dog and Gun is a small friendly pub in the middle of enderby. The staff are friendly and polite and the beers on offer are reasonably priced. We used to go on lunch two or three times a week as there is a dartboard and sports on the TV. Recommend a visit if you are in the area 👍

We booked the back room for a wake. Sean and his team couldn't do enough to make everything as nice as possible.

We held my mother's wake last Thursday in the function room. Sean, Loz and his team couldn't do enough for us. Such caring and attentive service. The buffet was amazing and plentiful and all for a very reasonable price. Thanks everyone, you did a great job xx

Lovely family pub always make you feel welcome when you come in for a drink I’m a regular in this local I come in here with friends and family and my young son :) every last Saturday of the month they always have a karaoke on which is such a brilliant night. Would definitely recommend this pub.

We stayed in the campervan in the carpark to break up a long journey (as we found it advetised on a pub stopoversite). There are no amenities for this but there was a warm welcome and a friendly service inside. Unfortunately on the Saturday evening we went it was a really slow night so can't say much about atmosphere etc but the jukebox was canny. There was no food on site but they gave directions to local takeaways and said we were welcome to eat in the Marquis.

What can I say; just the perfect village pub with good ale and friendly bar staff plus plenty of parking

I wouldn't go back to the dog and gun if you paid me to! And whilst there the lanlord was bladdered and incoherent! Not to mention atmosphere is dreadful. If your looking to have a drink ide recommend looking at one of the many other locals around.

My partner and I moved to the village around a year ago. We have visited various pubs in the area but because this one is dog friendly we have been in in the evening for a quiet drink every now and then. However, there are a few things that I have repeatedly seen in our most recent visits a month or so ago I know this is par for the course with many pubs but when we saw a fight breakout a weekend or so ago between two men - I don’t know the subject matter. The person behind the bar didn’t do anything to stop it and other customers ended up getting involved helping to get the men to leave. When they left, the bar staff member left after them, 5 minutes later they were back in the pub getting drinks. We felt very uncomfortable so we left pretty much straight the way. If this was one or two occasions I wouldn’t think too much into it as I don’t know the staff who work there or feel confident enough to raise a concern to them. We have informed Marstons pub chain of our concerns but there’s been no change I’ve seen anyway On one visit there with some family members we noticed what seemed to be a drug deal in the toilets. We mentioned this to a lady who was working behind the bar, an older lady as we didn’t see the landlord. She didn’t seem to be bothered by, it shrugged it off, and didn’t offer us any reassurance that she would raise concerns with the landlord or ask the man to leave. Again, we left promptly. We haven’t been in for a while because of the drug incident, but we came down for a karaoke event last month for an hour or so. We noticed a member of staff we hadn’t seen before so hoped it would be a good night out, which it was, she was great. However, towards the end of the Karaoke, we were just about to leave as it was getting late and saw an older lady behind the bar shouting at at a customer, a younger girl, who was singing karaoke saying “you are disgusting” amongst shouting other things we couldn’t quite hear. I can’t tell you how shocked we were. We couldn’t see the reason for the outburst and the younger girl looked really upset. I was shocked that customers would be treated this way. A few other customers looked shocked too and some consoled the young girl. It was the last straw for us and we will not be returning again. I hope thIngs change as I feel uncomfortable going back. Especially not with my young family members which is unacceptable.

Great pub, great beer, great cobs! If you don't know what a cob is then visit the dog and gun. It's a tiny pub with several areas of tight characterful space. The landlord looks after his beers as it's the main source of income. You won't be disappointed.

Quality Village Pub. Usually showing some sport. Really good outside space. To by hypercritical, the range of beers could afford to be more extensive. What is lacking in IPA options is more than made up with friendly staff.

Service was terrible, staff kept on serving a young lad alcohol even though hes was completely drunk n out of it. A member of staff tried to entice a fellow customer in to a fight. I will not be going there again !!!

It's my local pub so I have a bias but honestly it's a friendly location with an above average selection of lagers. An all round friendly pub where small talk can turn into a good conversation and friendships and memories can be made. I wouldn't exaggerate this in the slightest. If you're passing through Enderby, live here or are simply visiting or looking for a place to go then his is the place to be in this suburban village!

It's the Enderby Music Festival, which is great, but it takes 20mins to get served. I understand you have to wait when it's busy, but it's annoying that the staff haven't been trained to serve in the correct order.
