Domowa in Calderdale

Has closed now an Italian restaurant. Sad. The place was always very quiet but good very good and value

I came to Domwa restaurant about a month ago on a Sunday afternoon for some light late lunch with a friend, and it was delicious! I was politely greeted by a blonde waitress. the tables were clean and as a whole, well presented. I ordered a meat pierogi followed by brigands pancake and they were a good sized portion and very tasty! The service was fast and professional. The waitress was so helpful and polite and looked happy to be serving us. The atmosphere was great. I could recommend enough will definitely be back.

Went 2 weeks ago on a Sunday evening. There were 10 of us including 3 kids. Food amazing and so cheap, as it was on the previous occasion we went. But I’m afraid the say the service was awful, the waitress was lovely but she clearly hasn’t had any training. Example, we asked for some side plates to share desserts for the kids and were told they had no plates left (there were 2 other people in the restaurant!). Go wash some! Really poor and it was the same the first time we went. Unfortunately because of this we won’t go again.

I've been to Poland many times and needed a warm lunch on a Sunday, why not. Straight in and offered table, menu came made choices with very pleasant waitress. Starter, smalec, bacon spread was perfect for £2. My main the pork cutlet with mash and various coleslaw salads was great. But after the starter was just too much. Washed down with a Tyskie Will be back

Our friend found this wonderful place after our usual meet up Polish restaurant in Bradford closed. The restaurants interior is very smart and welcoming and is like walking into a celebrity 'posh' restaurant. The waitress was pleasant and accomodating and nothing was to much trouble. The food was authentic Polish cuisine and cooked to perfection, it was almost like being back in Wroclaw like we had been the weekend before!. The cost was really reasonable and we weren't rushed. This will definitely be our go to restaurant from now one.

We had a lovely lunch here. It was good value and the service was friendly. Recommended if you like generous portions of tasty food. They also have Polish specialities like pierogi.

We came here with our 2 children, we've been about 3 times now and each time we've had great service and great food! The food is very homely and satisfying and a nice change to run of the mill restaurants. It's not too formal here either nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Great service. Home made food and full of taste. Great ambience. Nice to have something new and appetising

Super Jedzenie i przemiła obsługa . Moim zdaniem najlepsze jedzenie . Restauracja czysta obiady podawane w wysokim standardzie .Obsługa włada językiem angielskim w stopniu zaawansowanym. Polecam na obiady z rodziną randkę i czy wieczorną kolację 5* :-)
