Downtown Pizza in Stevenage

all communication in chasing this late delivery was instigated by me. Two attempts I made for update produced a sorry well.get to you as soon as we can. upon asking for compensation for the issues they were having produced a reply of no compensation and a take it or leave it response made me feel they did not care. The outcome.for me.will be I will not purchase from this food place again.

Forgot my wife’s item turned up 1 hr later after everyone had eaten , not good at all

Food was nearly an hour late. It had been sat in a car for over 45 mins and when received was cold and the sauces had been squashed and covered everything. Really disappointed

Outstanding, we have the double chicken fillet burger meal, burgers were fantastic, fries were nice too. Delivered super fast too, thankyou..

It would be a good idea to send out the kebab ingredients separately, just a personal preferenche pitta bread is all soggy from the salad and spoils the kebag

food was piping hot and delivery very quick. only problem was one of the orders was incorrect, order chicken done & got a lamb done. did complain at time as was V hungry after a long 9 hr drive, hence the 2 stars for quality.

Food was well proportioned but some reason food temp was not good at all. But must admit if food was hotter would have recommended high key who’s is at fault driver or the food establishment?

Arrived with salad despite saying no salad and arrived 20 minutes early

used downtime Pizza many many times only issue I've ever had is their very sparce with salad.First time I tried their Chicken doner and will be my last. Didn't look like chicken or taste like chicken 100% dissapointed what a let down

The food was alright but the pita bread was missing which I was really looking forward to. Had to find alternative carb . It defeats the purpose of having a takeaway, I didn’t want to cook as I was exhausted from work but ended up having to cook.

size was small for a large and maybe chips needed draining first as the container was covered in oil but absolutely Delicious chillie sauce on point ,super quick delivery

once again very little salad,lettuce one quater tomato one slice of cucumber no red cabbage hardly any onion very disappointed

used downtime Pizza a few times and dissapointed more than once kebabs come with salad their salad consists of onion red cabbage in small amounts lucky if you get 2 slices of cucumber as for tomato ..last 3 times I've had one slice time to change.

waited hour an half for delivery and cold food for 30 odd quid unreal

I asked for Coca-Cola and got Pepsi. Asked for toasted wrap and got it burnt. Asides that it's totally worth it.

Said to arrive at 20.50 then changed to 9.20 then actually arrived 9.30. Took over an hour and a half after the order was placed. Not very happy about this and when I called the restaurant twice was just told sorry it’s on its way both times

Not only did the driver fail to find my residence part of the order was missing so I had to phone the restaurant and it took them another 40 minutes to complete the order

If I could give more stars I would. Easy enougth for 4 Turned up piping hot. Got here fast. Food was outstanding. Ordered party time and a milkshake. Milkshake was to die for. This is by far the best kebab I have ever eaten, so tasty, lamb, chicken, kofta, doner, bread, so much salad freash and crispy, I will definitely be ordering from here again. Probably won't eat for a few days now because of the amount of food you get. Just outstanding 👏 👌

The delivery driver deserves a raise. The food was delivered straight from the kitchen. So hot my Mrs had to wait for it to cool down a bit. Great pizza and potato skins. Very happy and I'll be ordering again

Have used this takeaway for years but won't be a hurry to go back now due to most of my food was cold, over priced, Ingredients added that weren't asked for poor presentation and all the meat & salad is slimey & not always cooked properly

Defrosted frozen buns which are over defrosted! Cheap burger! Quality food not good. Won’t be visiting again.

Food ordered for 0030. Food delivered at 0000 when I wasn’t at home. Spoke with the delivery driver who refused to help and just abandoned the food on my door step in the rain. Restaurant failed to answer the phone. Driver claimed they close at 0000 despite being available on just eat to order post 0000. Food completely inedible, cold, dry & clearly left overs at the end of the evening. If I could give minus starts I would. My advice would be to save your money & go elsewhere

I havent ordered from downtown in over 5yrs and now I know why. I have had hotter salads than the burgers I recieved. The pattie was very flavoursome but it really didn't need the bath in mayonnaise. My only reason for ordering from here is that the usual place I order from wasn't open. This was more expensive and less enjoyable. Note to self if I fancy a burger and can't get it from my normal place, wait till they reopen!!

I had a nice size lamb kebab & it taste very nice compared to other places I've been. I was full up . I ordered a fanta & got a orange tango. The kebab was nice & I will order here again the chips was cold. when I ordered them the time before they was very hot . If they was hot this time it would of been a better review. I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with the service. There is always something wrong the size of the pizza Wrong drink & cold chips I might give this place a break. I will come here again & try something from the menu. So far so good. Pizza, doner kebab, chips. The best is the kebab Pizza was hot maybe the next size up Chips hot then cold. Wrong drink Get the orders right in the future & I will continue to buy something.

The driver was over half hour late, the longest I've ever waited for a delivery. The pizza was a thin 4 slices which was nice I wouldn't pay £7 for it . Was hot - warm The chips was hot & very nice. I would get chips again. I would try the menu again. I'm not sure on the small pizzas size abit too expensive. The delivery was for 4:55 pm it was half 5 & still hadn't arrived. The delivery is the worst.

App said food had been delivered then called the shop they said he would be there in a minute 20 minutes later still not arrived called again got told they would make new food eventually arrived only warm no apology and driver was very rude waited an hour longer than what was said on the app

My first try at the Downtown Pizza. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Piping hot lamb shish, chicken shish and kofta kebab Perfectly fresh salad. Large pitta, Delicious. Great size portion for me. Will definitely order again.

Shocking…. I use to have a good service with these guys ordered food at 6.15pm kept calling they kept saying 10 mins it’s now 7:56 no food and my family is hungry Awful… never use them again

Not great to be honest food was late. The person on the phone wasn’t that helpful and we had to warm the food up once it turned up eventually. The App said it was delivered on time but obviously the food wasn’t here. Sort the app out please

Food ordered at 17.50. Delivered 20.23 freezing cold. Kept getting told 15 minutes... would not want to get paid off there watch!

Driver could not find address even though post code was provided and address appears on any mapping system . Which then made food cold ish the food was of good quality and portions where great chilli sauce was banging

Salad very disappointing. Ordered red cabbage, cucumber and onion. 2 bits of cucumber and a spoonful of red cabbage plus onion was in large slices. Salad didn’t even cover one quarter of the box (ordered salad separately) Only order from here as limited places offer red cabbage. If I find somewhere else will definitely change

Actually the best kebab I've had in a long time !! Meat was hot, thick slices of donner meat, salad was washed,crisp and cabbage oiled nicely. Pita bread also hot and fluffy ! What more could you want ! Would definitely recommend

Waited over a hour for delivery, ordered showed as out for delivery for 30 mins. Called asking for an update was told he just left. Food arrived cold an the sauces had burst over the pizzas

Take better care in ordering your chicken. That's all I'll say as you guys mostly deliver superbly flavoured meals
