Dreaming Napoli in Barnsley

Great pizzas - they've got the dough just right; good toppings, great prices - check the specials board if the wine list looks too pricey! Lovely staff, too. Maybe a bit overlooked, in the old pinocchio's restaurant. Worth visiting for value and quality

First visit was for family party and second lunch for two. On both occasions the food was very good and we had excellent service.

Wow, what a treasure to find. I have lived in Italy and the food here is as authentic as you can get. The chef is from Napoli (Naples) Food is excellent, Staff are friendly and professional making the dining experience wonderful.

Visited as a family of 6 on a Saturday evening, we all had various pizza and pasta dishes and shared some arancini balls, the food and service was fantastic and all served in a really lovely atmosphere! Would highly recommend.

Cheap and nasty!! Had loads of food from this place as a frequent visitor of Italy and had always brought the taste home. Unsure what had gone so horribly wrong. Sour artichoke (inedible) thousands of jarred olives (again, inedible) and tinned ham!!!!!!! WTF!!!!! This experience has put me off forever. I did call the restaurant before adding this review, the bloke didn’t have a clue. Answered with a brief ‘hello,who is this?’ No customer service skills at all. I will not be returning! Shame

Lovely little Italian restaurant. I had the burrata and parma ham starter which was huge and very tasty. Very cute restaurant and I will be back

Licioussssss We decided to come here for pizza during the Barnsley live music Saturday when everything was quite busy. We googled pizza in Barnsley and this place was suggested and we were not disappointed. Delicious pizza.

I went to this restaurant today with my family. The staff were friendly and the food was very very good. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. I know the restaurant has only been open for 3 weeks and they haven’t had much time to turn this restaurant around but it needs a bit of updating and maybe dress the tables with a table cloth and a candle etc as it’s a bit plain and boring. Shame because the food is lovely. With a little bit of money spending on the inside this could be a big success.

Now established in the restaurant that used to be trade as Pinocchios, Dreaming Napoli offers the experience of fantastic, authentic Neapolitan Pizza. We even had Pino Daniele playing on the sound system. We should know, we’ve been out there often enough. Gianni and Nicolette now have their liquor license and had a very good bottle of Sicilian Chardonnay. Prices are incredibly reasonable and it’s a place we’ll keep going back to.

Lovely genuine Italian food by a genuine Italian chef, Superb Pizza and calzone and Garlic bread, also very nice coffee at great value prices visit soon for a treat, relaxed atmosphere in the old Pinocchio's Building on New Street in Barnsley. You will not be disappointed !!!!
