Love Duets. In my opinion the best restaurant in Weston-super-Mare for food & service. Sad it has now closed. However we can only wish Sean & Lynn well in their future endeavours & thank them for the wonderful evenings we've spent at Duets.

I am writing this review about Duets restaurant as I'm absolutely speechless with the owners attitude towards me in her telephone call. I went to this lovely little restaurant for a Sunday roast in the summer with my sister. The food and service was excellent! We managed to get a midday Sunday xmas dinner booking for Dec 10th and were really looking forward to experiencing this Michelen star restaurant again. The owner phoned late Saturday afternoon to confirm that we were still coming to which I replied yes. But unfortunately during the night I got ill. I texted her at 0840 Sunday morning with a polite message that we wouldn't be coming. At 1009 she phone me and spoke to me very rudely with no empathy to the fact that I was ill saying that I had confirmed I was going which at the time I thought I would be not knowing I would get ill overnight! She said she received a voicemail from me but I sent a text. She said it would have been nice if I'd phoned her which I have in the past only to receive an answer phone message. She said it was a family run business and had to get the chefs in but she would have had them in anyway as we weren't the only bookings for that day! She said there would normally be a cancellation charge (first I'd heard of that!) She said she had a waiting list but it was too short notice. If she had checked her messages earlier maybe that wouldn't be the case. She was very rude throughout her conversation with me and then put the phone down without any empathy or even a goodbye! I remained calm and polite throughout our conversation. I have no malice towards this owner infact I feel sorry for her. She certainly showed her true colours! Anyway I wish the owners a happy retirement. Best wishes, Christine from Kent but originally from Worle WSM!

Unpretentious small restaurant in small local centre. Had Lunch with 5 friends today. Somerset Goats cheese starter very nice, pork main course with Dauphinoise potatoes delicious. Too full for third course but friends enjoyed Christmas pudding and the Eaton Mess. Only disappointment was the duck breast which my wife said was tasty but chewy although not rare. Price is reasonable c £40/head 3 courses, soft drinks and coffee (in pots nice touch and good quality). Petit Fours delicious. The Malbec had on a previous visit was excellent. Wish the owners a very happy retirement and well deserved. Shame it’s closing.

Yet another wonderful evening the service and food were perfect as always how anyone could give this restaurant a bad review is beyond me I wish the owners all the best for their retirement they and their will greatly missed.

This restaurant is superb, from the moment you arrive it feels special. A warm greeting whether you know or don’t know the staff . The Sunday lunch is incredible , I struggle to choose as everything sounds mouth watering. It’s always full, never an empty table. There’s a nice gap between the fantastic three courses, but always leave feeling full, lol. Look forward to going back again .

The food is amazing and service is first class. Having a restaurant of this quality in Weston super mare at reasonable prices is not to be missed. Have paid twice as much for inferior food in other places. Good menu choices and high quality. Will be visiting again soon

This small restaurant never fails to deliver beautiful locally sourced produce. The food is both presented and tastes exquisite. A great family run business with excellent and friendly service. A special place to enjoy a great dinner.

I loved my meal and the atmosphere. The only reason I marked it down was my partner said his pepper sauce on steak was bitter as burnt.

How we would love to have this restaurant in our home town. The evening was such a delight. The lovely lady who welcomed us and looked after us was very special, a pleasure to meet. The Chef was superb, all the food was first class. Flavours and presentation excellent, the choice was also very good, in fact the whole experience was a perfect start to a holiday in Devon.

Went to Duets for my birthday (Sunday lunch) and the food was Amazing! We had the Special, which was Sole and it was the biggest, tastiest Sole I've ever tasted and was cooked beautifully. The vegetables were nicely cooked as well and there were plenty of crispy, tasty, roast potatoes. I'm not sure how they cooked them but they were delicious, as was the cauliflower cheese. All the portions were very generous and I thought the prices were reasonable for such a high end restaurant. You need to book a couple of weeks in advance though, as they're so popular.

Thank you Duets for a wonderful meal and evening. We had our late fathers 60th here 20 years ago and I know my mum has wanted to visit but hasn’t been able to since he died. She chose this for her birthday meal this year we were all delighted as we love this restaurant the food they produce is exceptional. Duets didn’t disappoint as all of us throughly enjoyed our choices. I know mum enjoyed it which was lovely to see. Do visit you won’t be disappointed.

Easy to miss it just walking past, but inside this converted house lies a wonderful treasure of Weston super Mare. Smart use of space, small bar but with everything you might want on offer. Now, the food. Everything tried so far has been amazing, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Just amazing, how I have lived here so long and not discovered it sooner I don't know. This Michelin-recommended restaurant is an absolute treat. Tucked away in Milton, on the outskirts of Weston-S-Mare in North Somerset, it offers a cosy environment to eat fabulous food. The team are always welcoming and make you feel at ease. A good mix of fish, meat and veggie options. Highlights for us were the mackerel with chorizo starter, duck in a lovely oriental sauce and the trio of deserts (see picture). All rounded off with a plate of home-made petits-fours. Straightforward, unpretentious great cuisine. There’s an excellent wine list with a range of wines by the glass and half bottles for those who need to take it easy. Good for the soul, if not the waistline.

Before i arrived i let Lyn (the owner) know that i was vegan and they made a special 3 course menu for me. I literally cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The meal was a perfect balance of freshly cooked ingredients so beautifully presented and well thought out. This is what i call cooking with love! There is so much "dirty vegan food" around, burgers and all that !! and i cannot think of one place that does something a little more special like this!!!if you are vegan or carnivore you have to try it!!Lyn is going to start a vegan menu, so vegans please come and see how great this restaurant is!!My only regret is that i enjoyed the meal so much that i forgot to take photos of the lovely food!!!

A Christmas gift voucher and a birthday took us here for a long leisurely lunch. The food is amazing and beautifully presented. It is also reasonably priced with a fixed price for lunch and dinner. There is a good wine list offering a variety or prices. The white Rioja was lovely. If you’re looking for somewhere on good bus routes with fabulous food and wine, you can’t do better than this.

Duets is just a top notch ,excellent restaurant.It is small but very quaint,with a slight quirkiness.Family owned the service is pleasant in every way .The food is fantastic as well.The portions just right,and the menu made daily.This is my second visit ,and I rate this place as highly as any other inWeston or the Uk.
