Good fresh food, although the menu isn't very varied if your looking for lunch It's in a lovely setting and there's a small play park for children. Dogs are allowed and well catered for. There's plenty parking but this is where I felt badly let down. There is no allocated disabled parking! There was a challenging walk on my crutches from the carpark to the cafe as the surface isn't very wheelchair friendly. With the space available in sure there is an easy remedy and I'm sure we'll come back for more of the good food and see if they resolve the parking for the disabled.

One of our favourite seasonal cafes. Freshly made scones and lots and lots of berries picked that day. The staff are all very friendly and in the years we’ve been going, very professional. We love it when East Scryne opens its doors and children’s play park for the summer.

Second visit to this place last weekend and really wasn't the greatest. Granted, it was a sunny Saturday but when we arrived there were only a couple of people queueing so it wasn't overly busy (3pm ish). Despite the little queue, there seemed to be chaos behind the till. Lots of staff but all very disjointed and overwhelmed. The lady on the till was taking my order but kept stopping to ask the other staff questions and I had a feeling it was going to be problematic. We ordered ice cream, a scone and an iced coffee. Scone was served immediately and I stood to the side waiting for the other items while they served other customers. My iced coffee didn't have any ice and didn't come with the syrup I'd ordered so I had to go back and request it but the young girl evidently didn't know how much to add and only put it in a few drops so I had to request more. A few drops later, I didnt have the heart to send it back again and was scared to ask for ice incase they had none and I'm not the type to cause a fuss. Waited 5 minutes on the ice cream before realising they were serving them to others who came in after and they'd forgotten my order. Reminded them I was waiting in the most non-Karen-sounding way I could muster. A few minutes later they handed over a cone...(I'd ordered a tub) and I hatedddd having to send another thing back but my daughter doesn't tolerate certain types of wheat :( It is what it is I suppose. Ice cream was lovely. Scone was OK (I assume warm when served but cold by the time I sat to eat it so a bit mehhh. Warm 'iced' coffee was dreadful. Not the cheapest place to visit - I don't mind a treat at the weekend; but it was a very lacklustre experience and I felt like I kept apologising for causing them issues. I'm sure the owner would prefer to hear about these issues at the time so they could be resolved but those of us who find it mortifying to 'ask for the manager', all we can do is reflect on the experience and give constructive criticism. A nice wee place in general but to be avoided during busy periods unless there are more experienced staff on hand. Maybe a better procedure needed for tracking orders?

The best farm shop I have been too. Not too big or too small. Food was to die for! And the kids loved the little goats and the play park.

This wee strawberry farm, cafe and play area is a true scottish gem! The play area for kids has lots to keep little ones entertained. My girls enjoyed feeding the goats the most! The strawberries, ice cream, coffee and berry cake are beyond delicious. This farm is absolutely worth a visit!
