The Turkish restaurant in the area since the change of ownership Will definitely recommend to everyone who wants to have a great turkish meal l had a great meal with the family The staff were very polite and we had so much food for the price we paid. Free turkish tea with baklava was also given to us at the end free of charge which was very kind of the staff Great place and l definitely recommend everyone to try this amazing place

AVOID, avoid and one more time please AVOID this establishment. First, let's start with the attitude. The staff and the management is rude and arrogant in their manner. They obviously don't know how to properly treat customers. They will give you an attitude like you are an inconvenience to them. Second of all, the food. I have been to many turkish restaurants around the world and know how turkish food should taste. Food here is not good. In fact, it's not just not good, it is really, really bad! And lastly, I want to mention one other important thing. They DISCRIMINATE their customers and make very rude comments straight to your face. Just the other day, they refused to serve a customer based on the customer's national origin. It happened right in front of me and it is totally unacceptable. Once again, please AVOID this place, unless you like to be discriminated.

Worst Turkish restaurant. I had lahmacun it was soggy and there was a lot of water and chilli sauce full of juice and salad with raw cabbage and red onions. It was wrong choice.

Wanted to order some food for collection, but couldn't find their menu anywhere online. Then decided to call them ask for assistance, the guy quickly said to check their website (which I did with no success) and dropped the line. This was it.

We visited the restaurant in August 2019 All of us grown up men in our 50s as we made entry we were not made welcome by the staff. We made our order but the staff wouldn't serve our food the way we would like it to be served. We asked why can't you serve the food the way we like it since we are paying you for your service's. Staff didn't like us questioning them so they got rude to us and told us to leave.

This was hands down the worst meal I have eaten in a very long time. The doner meat that I was served would not even be worthy for an animal to consume. The meat was clearly days old and had the texture of cardboard.

Since under new management the place is going down hill went to get take away come home and half the items were missing!! Phoned to explain... quite rude... told me to come and pick up the other items... chilli sauce like water not even hot my wrap completely soggy! Not happy won't be going there again!

Poor food all round. Massively over expensive for what it was and clueless staff in every role. The lamacun was doughy and almost damp with hardly any diced lamb. The salad appeared to have been sitting there for a while with some parts much fresher than other. Serving staff didn’t understand the names for Turkish dishes - the place is meant to be named after Istanbul, they’ve clearly never been! If you worked in a French restaurant you’d be expected to know what the dishes were and the names meant - not here. The grilled meat was massively disappointing for an ocakbasi. The kofta kebabs were cooked well enough neither were they full of much flavour - simply bland compared to other proper Turkish restaurants. The chicken passed the mark, but that’s hardly difficult. The lamb “chops” were more like weird ribs and far, far away from the shape and size of universally served regular chops - these ones were sticks of bone with sometimes just fat on. Hideous. They also did not have the tasty special seasoning other legit Turkish restaurants have and were largely very unsatisfying. Call themselves a Turkish restaurant and they have no pide and no baklava! Rubbish. Clearly this is a kebab house trying to pretend to be a Turkish restaurant - still to doner kebabs with chill sauce lads. Won’t be going back again.

Usually our favourite Turkish been here for 2 years now.. seems to be taken over by new owners and unfortunately gone down hill! Salad is now terrible using pickled Gherkin and carrots!? Also changed to basmati rice, Such a shame will not be ordering here again unfortunately

One of the nice Turkish restaurants on Leytonstone at the moment. Replaced an older restaurant which wasn’t as good so we decided to give it our rating. Ordered Adana kebabs and some takeaway stuff. The seating is nice the place isn’t very big but you get seating. Ordered food and didn’t have to wait long for it. The quality and taste was good and better than average. Staff was nice and friendly. Our take away meal was prepared in good time and packed nicely for us to take home. Overall nice and recommended. Prices are par with most of the Turkish restaurants as in average not too pricey.

While on the pricier end of a Leytonstone Kebab, very highly recommended due to the high quality of every aspect of the meal; meats, salads, rice and bread made before your eyes.

Lovely food and great service I had the sharing platter of the hot meze to share and the humus with the meat which was both very nice and the bread that is served to the table also very nice. Also then for main I had the lamb shish and chicken shish so it was like some lamb and some chicken and chips it was very nice. The hot meze had some great items on which all were very nice. This place is definitely worth a visit

While the name is quite stole the food is not I would say for the kebab and rice type eat in or takeaway you won't do much better in E11. Its good it's substantial it's well flavoured and it's reasonably priced. Who needs more on a midweek cheat !!

I went in there after swimming, so I didn't wanna huge meal but I did want to sit down and not get a takeaway. I had to Lahmacun which is basically like a paperthin Turkish pizza… Very tasty and it comes with a really fresh and crispy plate of salad. the salad dressing is very very good and their chilli sauce. You then roll and make eight small wraps... really as filling as a full meal, Low-fat and healthy! The daft thing is these are £2.50 each including the salad, So you buy a couple and get a good meal for a fiver! Excellent, I will become a regular

What a little gem just around the corner .. The food is just great ( it costs the same to eat in as is does to take away ) the staff are lovey

Quite simply it really makes a nice change to go somewhere locally that isn't trying to be Leytonstone's answer to West End prices! As well as having a pretty good menu they do their best to give you exactly what you want at reasonable prices. The waitresses are a friendly without being over the top bunch and all in all it's a nice place to eat. Generally I don't do five stars but this place does really deserve it.
