Eat Well Chinese in Swindon

Ordered a Chinese for collection got there to collect order was told we only take cash we were not told this when placing order. Only having phone on me to pay with my Apple Pay I asked what am I supposed to do they said go on our website order items again and pay through your phone the lady put all item I ordered through on my phone for and added a £3:99 delivery charge I said why are you charging me delivery I’m collecting order she said oh sorry. It would not take my Apple Pay payment so I had to ring my partner who then had to do a bank transfer to them. When I get home we realise there is a meal missing so rang them up was asked can you have it next time you order or can you come collect it I said no I’m not coming back out after all the trouble earlier. They finally said we will sent it out to you 30 minutes later. Shocking service will never go back again do not recommend

I've ordered food from there at least twice monthly for 16 months and not once was I disappointed. Definitely one of the best Chinese takeaways in the Swindon area. Shredded chilli beef, chicken satay, chicken chop suey and salt & pepper ribs are amongst my favourites. Best money I've spent on food.

Very good tasty food always deliver the correct food hot and flavoured. Would recommend this to anybody who loves Chinese food

absolutely waste of £30 for 2 meals ! How can a chinese Takeaway get a chicken & Blackbean sauce so wrong, tasteless watery sauce and a god awful slimy textured chicken. its so bad. the ribs were a main dish ....5 thin dryed out ribs...really ? Avoid at all costs. The good reviews must be family members and friends

Been Here a few times throughout lockdown and I’ve got to say that the food is very good. I first tried this in March 2020 during the first lockdown due to the Chinese I usually go to had stayed shut due to family circumstances. I am so happy I did try Eat Well Chinese as I’ve got to say it is now my new favourite Chinese in Swindon. We have ordered again in October 2020 and then December 2020 and recently again this month. We always order about 6-7 mains, 3 sides and 4 rice. So a reasonable order and never have we had to wait longer than what I would expect to and never had any items missing from my order. Staff are always nice when I go in and really efficient with the orders. It’s not the best looking place but hey, I’m not there for the decor and the food is what I’m after. The food is really tasty and not oily like some Chinese Take Aways I’ve ordered from before. The food to me is always cooked to perfection and never had bad tasting over/undercooked food from Eat Well. As I say, this is my new Chinese take away choice and will be sticking with them for the foreseeable future. Keep up the good work will be back very soon to order some yummy Chinese.

Today Sunday 6th of Sept 2020 we looked on line and noticed this place on line had 4* and some others the were 3 1/2* so I thought I'd try this place. They took my order and it wasn't too cheap it was avarage price. I had a call from the delivery man saying he was outside our house but not me . He had 67 on his sheet of paper instead our our address and when we finely took all items out of the bag to eat and noticed the prawn crackers were missing. I had paid for them but never received them. The taste of the foods we had were ok but not the best we've tried but it was ok. The food was not piping hot but I think it's because they gave the poor driver the wrong address so it took him longer to get to our house so maybe that's why the food was just warm and not piping hot.

Easily the best Chinese takeaway in Swindon. We've tried almost every available takeaway since we moved to the town 10 years ago. They're usually too salty, bland, overcooked and often overpriced. Eat Well are one of the cheaper options, it almost always tastes great and deliver on time or before. Plus they know my address when I call up so it's quick to get my order in. The ONLY pitfall is the company they use for online ordering doesn't have a secure website so you should always call up.

I placed an order online at 18.10 with estimated delivery 19.05. I called them at 19.15 asking where my order is and they only just printed it!!!!! Woman on phone just said sorry i don't know what happened, didn't offer any discount or anything extra. Food came quite quickly after that but didn't taste very nice. We won't be ordering from there again.

The food from Eat Well is amazing, service is excellent so we usually don't mind when they bring things we did not order but random things (that someone else ordered). Tonight instead of duck in plum sauce we got pork in some sauce and instead of chicken noodle soup we got double portion of chow mein. Occasionally I would like to get in the bag what we actually ordered.

1.5 hours delivery and missing curry sauce. It is Saturday and they are busy. Food always good.

I ordered vegetarian duck and I got given normal duck! I phoned up and the woman said it was her fault as she thought it meant vegetable duck! They did send another one out to me pretty quick though

Terrible disgusting we had to wait 2 hours for this delivery. Spare ribs were dry with no sauce. Wont recomend ordering on here or a delivery but food is very nice.

Food was very tasty though I would disagree with a previous comment about the spring rolls. One of ours were so soggy, it was stuck in the bag. Definitely undercooked. This has not put us off using this company again. Will use next time we order Chinese as the quality of the rest of the food was good. Delivery was on time - very impressed as it is not easy to find out house.

Top class meal, every dish was delicious. Our second visit and now a favourite.

Finally an edible spring roll crisp and tasty and not greasy. Chicken in black bean was loaded with meat and tasty as was the kung po chicken although a little sweeter than anticipated.special vecimli also excellent arrived before the expected time fantastic all round will use again

Have ordered the dishes many times...don't understand why the shredded crispy beef seems to be shrinking...the price is still the same, but you only get what seems like half a portion.

Fantastic food. Hot. Delivered ahead of estimate even on a busy Saturday night. Can't fault.

All around average experience. Chicken curry is rather nice and portions are plentiful. Duck was dry and didn't taste very much like duck. Bbq ribs also nice. Nothing wrong with food as such, have just had better meals than this.

I Love the Special Chow Mein with and without sauce! Prices are standard as is the delivery. They do get busy so that is always a good sign! You can't go wrong with this place. Not had a bad/non enjoyable dish and i have been using this place for years!

This was the fifth time we reordered stuff - time on time the quality is absolutely great. Love the food. Not too hot not too sweet. More taste less watery. Just yummy. 1 star for takeaway since never used it.

The food was stone cold, and it was put out right away.. If it were not for the fact we had people to feed I'd have sent it back. Was so disappointed. And it was 10 mins over the latest time. So was not impressed with that either. Shall not be using them again..

excellent traditional Chinese take-away veg curry lots of variety; broccoli, carrots, peppers, water chestnut, onion, bamboo shoots and all tasted fresh. EFR just right and not too heavy.

The best Chinese in a long time! Food was fantastic, and arrived slightly before expected which was great! Can highly recommend the Duck Rolls, and Chicken Chow Mein. Will be ordering again!!
