Wow I can’t believe what I have just seen. The OWNER of the cafe talking to random people like that on google , please have some shame and think about what u say before you say it. Your a grown adult please control your emotions and start acting like an adult. I can’t even imagine how you treat your employees when your on google acting like this.

Very enjoyable sandwich, friendly staff

I got a sandwich to go, in my opinion is a bit pricey. 7.55 for a sandwich with chicken scallops, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The bread was delicious and crunchy, a warm sandwich very welcome on this weather but the issue I found with it is that the chicken scallops were extremely thin, not substantial for a sandwich of that price.

The staff is really friendly, the coffee is average, but they have "every third coffee is free" offer

Great option for a takeaway coffee and snacks on Bermondsey Street. Service is always friendly and fast, and they have a great range of food options - the focaccia sandwiches are a particular favourite of ours!

Had the simplest panini. Parma ham, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes. I was concerned about the size of the sandwich, but that was the best panini I had ever. 10/10.

We dined in, everything looked delicious, what we got tasted delicious, and this tiny shop with super friendly people gave us a great breakfast! Thanks so much!!!

We love Pedro and his team. Great service, great food, and great offers on coffee. He puts a smile on our faces every morning as we pass by, and for that reason, we see him most lunchtimes to collect coffee for the team!

I went to your store recently the food was average with a lack of filling in my Milano sandwich. The manager, I believe, thought he was really charismatic however it just felt inappropriate. The only good thing about this place is the staff members that he seems to treat like dirt and for that reason I will not be coming back here. I would suggest having a look on your menu as many of the items are spelt wrong.

The name’s punny and funny. But the pastries and Iced Latte are serious good. If you’re looking for a little taste of Italy, this is eat. Pun intended. Manja, manja!!

Lovely little place next to my office. Amazing and helpful staff. Yummy food. I bought Genovo today. It has mushrooms as one of the filling. I requested Maria( I think I read this name who took my order) to not include mushrooms as I don't like it. She checked with the cook and the cook was very kind to not only include it but she replaced it with fried peppers( after checking with me)... and oh boy..it tasted so so yummy. Thank you so much Ms Cook. I am sorry I did not ask your name. But now everytime, you will have to include peppers for me...no escape...:)... Highly recommended to all to try the food here...

Great food, perfect for a quick lunch

I have a slight obsession with finding Italian patisseries so when I stumbled upon Eatalia, I was rather excited. The cannoli were so tempting, but I ended up trying the almond croissant because it was 50% off and I was hungry. It didn't blow my mind, but I'd try the cannoli next time, or icecream. The staff was friendly. It looked clean. Love love love the street it's on which had such a great vibe. It reminds me of nottinghill but without the insane price tag. This might be my favourite street in bermondsey. I've been exploring the area and it is definitely an area that I enjoy going to on the weekend.

The best gelato in town! Highly recommend the mint choc chip or the cookies and cream. Lovely staff, super friendly and happy to help. Also recommend their smoothies and pastries.

Was happy when I saw aranchini, but unfortunately £6 was a total waste, it tastes nothing like aranchini, it was also sour which tastes like it went bad already. Had a bite and threw into trash :( will never go back. Also later noticed this place can’t even spell aranchini correctly….

unfortunately the bolognese tasted like something I could make at home with some tinned tomatoes and supermarket herbs. The pasta was also overdone so the whole thing was just a bit soggy and disappointing 😞

Pasta - never again. Overcooked (far away from al dente). Overheated in microwave in a plastic bag. They suggested parmesan on the top, I agreed. Well, there was no parmesan in my pasta!! I couldn't eat it.

Great food (I had the Thai Green Lentil soup) and EXCELLENT customer service from Pedro.

Local gem. We've used them for a couple of corporate orders and people were delighted with the food (pasta, foccacia sandwiches, amazing salads) - it's excellent value for money, great quality ingredients and the best customer service. Pedro the manager is just amazing, he put together awesome menus to fit our budget and was most accommodating. I've also personally had breakfast and lunch items from their menu and loved it!

Best Cafe on Bermondsey Street and in London Bridge. The panini options are not only endless, but all delicious. Also the pasta dishes are unreal. Pedro the boss, is an absolute legend!

Eatalia is a local institution here on Bermondsey Street, whether its a quick coffee in the morning or a seriously good pasta or panini at lunch, these guys are always my go to.

Best pain au chocolat on the street - it’s got custard inside! Their deal pairs it (or any pastry) with a coffee (or any hot drink) for the price of a pastry alone next door. Not to mention that the pastries here are so much tastier/fresher than the bakery’s next door despite what the reviews and window display may proclaim! Staff are friendly and up for a chat, or at least willing to suffer through one with a smile. I can’t imagine any locals choose Comptoir instead of here - Eatalia.

Went to buy some ice-cream here today. I got a scoop of salted caramel, which was cloying, and a scoop of “oreo crunch” (just a regular cookies & cream). The latter was extremely delicious though! The portion was not great, not terrible but the price was way better than the expensive Borough market analogues, thus overall I was happy with the purchase! The staff were friendly too

Hope to give it 0 stars! The staff (man) was the rudest, most impolite person I came across in the last 5 years in this country. He yelled at us for having coffee from the next door cafe at the table. We politely mentioned sure we won’t drink it, let us finish the pasta salad that we bought. He went inside and yelled from inside to get up from there! When we bought the pasta from his own shop! We had to return the pasta too, and he didn’t refund Don’t recommend visiting unless you want to get a racist, rude and worse experience of your London life! Apparently we were exploring the neighbourhood as we were getting a house there. But not anymore! Hope you get to feel what you made us feel at your restaurant! AWFUL! Never again, hope you get some experience everywhere you go

Almond croissant was legitimately really good , while the pistachio cannoli was slightly lacklustre. I'd have given it 5 stars if it didn't cost me £6.95 for a SMALL cannoli, a MEDIUM croissant and a weirdly large coffee

This is the place to go to in bermondsey if not only do you want something sweet but want the best something sweet around ! If it's ice cream you're after then you're spoilt for choice with flavours. If you want an indulgent treat for breakfast then you can enjoy all the pastries. But for me it's all about the selection of Italian sweet treats which are perfect for an afternoon treat or for sharing with friends. Yum yum yum

Absolutely Awful Cannoli and Sfogliatelli!!! - the filling was not made out of cream but some kind of confectionery sugar full of artificial flavors and colors (no lemon, hazelnut or pistachio in them!). And the outside shell was hard, oily and plain old and rancid! Just avoid! 🤢🤮

A warm wlecome to this small cafe with a wide selection of interesting Italian based food. both savoury and sweet. The service was good and the prices competitive. The falafel salad was one of the nicest ever and the pannini was crisp outside, fluffy inside with a generous filling. The cafe is almost opposite the Fashion and Textile museum (which no longer has a cafe).

Best lunchtime spot in Bermondsey for Italian food! Recommend the Pesto Chicken Pasta, never get enough!

Had the amazing Genova panini here with really high quality bread, cheese and plenty of soft-cooked veg, was done perfectly. I got the meal deal which was reasonably priced (for panini, drink and small cake), and so could try out the chocolate cannoli as well but there's plenty of small cakes/pastries you could include - lots of choice and a good small size to try something sweet at lunch. I thought there would be no seating inside from walking past but me and my partner found one easily at 12:30 - there's a selection (not huge but enough) of 1, 2 and 4 person tables at the back, and most people seem to be there to takeaway anyway. The staff were really friendly, they explained the meal deal and brought over the heated panini really quickly.

Quality is not here, food is pretty bland and the service is poor. No value for money at all They have burned my sandwiches on several occasions, don’t even bother to apologise, then try and serve you a burned sandwich.

Great place. Staff was very helpful despite us being very indecisive and annoying. They were accommodating to the kids as well. Gelato was great. Panini were great. Coffee was excellent. We barged in on them as they were closing but still helped us anyway.

I am very sorry to only put 2 stars however the aubergine parmigiana was terrible. My parmigiana was literally swimming in the tomato sauce and it was more like a soup. Very little mozzarella as well. However service was good and I didn’t have to wait too long to get my food. I really want to like this place but the parmigiana needs to improve. I would come back because my colleagues got pasta from there and it looked good. Please improve your parmigiana!!!!

Loved the pasta from here. I went for the pesto/chicken dish which was absolutely delicious. At £6 the price is pretty reasonable & handy if you want a quick but hot dish at lunchtime!
