Eden Bistro - Burscough in West Lancashire

Absolutely fabulous. We popped in on a Sunday morning and ordered the mushrooms on toast and a benny stack… everything was super delicious and perfectly cooked. Lovely to see places make homemade hollandaise too!! Definitely returning 😊

A nice place with a warm atmosphere, the service was a bit slow . The food was tasty although a bit on the pricey side for the amount which was served . Glad we tried it, not be rushing back.

Booked a table for the family to celebrate our mum's birthday. None of us had been here before so we didn't know what to expect.. But we were all so impressed! The food was absolutely delicious and so well presented. It made such a nice change to eat food that had been freshly prepared and had had time and effort spent on its presentation. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We will all be back!

Thus is the second time thst we visited Eden. The five of us went for the "one while you wait and two tapas" menu and then shared them between us. The food was excellent once again, the food came out hot and the flavours of each of the individual dishes were superb. We could not fault it. A very clean restaurant with clean toilets. Staff were cheerful and happy to help. We will be back!

Love coming here, either as a couple or a family. Fab fresh food, amazing cocktails and great service anytime. Love that you can order as little plates and add more, and share of course! ( If you want to ) Latest meal I had was the BBQ ribs and by god they literally fell off the bone! Highly recommend the place for all!

First all Five stars in a while. Really nice settings and atmosphere, staff were very professional but in a human way! Brilliant tapas style arrangements small or large plates. Food was a bit different and extremely good! Delicious, fresh, hot and decent amounts/sizes. A little bit pricey but well worth it! Highly recommend and will go again.

Its a great place and with great people working there, lovely staff and very kind and joyful towards my 6 year old daughter. The breakfasts are great and very filling. My daughter and I both love the pancakes. Me and my wife are going to try out the evening food tomorrow, and looking forward to it.

Eden is a little hidden gem just off the high street In Burscough. Although they claim small plates the portions are good and the choice is great. I’m hoping to go back and go through the menu to try every dish!!! Up to now the Thai curry and duck are my favourite and the triple cut chips are to die for!!! Already planning my next visit. Excellent service great small business well worth a visit xx

Lovely, cosy little place!!! Kind of an Italian tapas, food is amazing!! Husband treated me for my birthday, had 6 plates and a bottle of wine plus a couple of pints, came to £85 which I thought was very reasonable. Highly recommended 👌

I received a gift voucher December 2022 from my aunty but as we were moving house I misplaced it. I got in touch with Eden on Facebook assuming that they would have a record of vouchers. We initially had a conversation and then they stopped responding. I have just found my voucher and disappointed to see that the vouchers are recorded (it was number 133 for the record ...). So there's not really any reason they couldn't have helped me earlier in the year to use the voucher. I gave them all names involved and it just would have taken such little effort. I can't use the voucher now anyway, but I could have if you'd have actually responded to the conversation and located the recorded voucher... I told the person who bought me the voucher (who basically lives at Eden!!) and she said they did take names when purchased, so again, you could have helped me. I understand I lost it and that's on me, but the voucher still existed on your records and that's what I am annoyed about. The voucher (which was literally written on a blank piece of paper with a marker - I wanted to post a photo because it's the weirdest "voucher" I've ever seen but for some reason can't see any way to upload despite other people posting photos) doesn't really mean anything when you have a record of name and voucher number anyway.

Called in with a few cycling friends for some Brunch, food was excellent and good portion sizes. We will definitely be using it again and would recommend to family & friends and anyone in the area to pay a visit. Update 13-08-23 Called in with my partner to meet a cycling friend for a catch-up. Yet again, the food was excellent, and the portion sizes are very generous. I had the Shrooms, and my partner chose the Smashed Avacado (as seen in the photos).

Really lovely spot in the heart of Burscough. Eden triples up as a brunch/lunch spot, restaurant, and bar, and we visited for the former part to try it out for brunch on a rainy Saturday. The food was really fantastic. I really can't fault a single part as it was all high quality, well prepared, and well presented. Portion sizes were perfect and prices were in keeping with the local area. The coffee was really tasty, but unfortunately there was no latte art. It's a shame as that is the only thing stopping it from being a perfect spot to stop for coffee. Service was friendly and attentive. There was a mix up with which coffees were decaf (lattes) and which were caffeinated (flat whites), which luckily we spotted and questioned, but that's not great given one of the decaf drinkers was pregnant. Other than that, the service was very good throughout. The furnishing and decor is nice inside, with outdoor seating too (albeit on a road) for when the weather is nice. Highchairs were available, and although there's no parking on site there is plenty at the local Tesco which is only a short walk away.

Had breakfast there this morning. Mushrooms black and sour...nasty. sausages looked nice but tasted off, couldn't eat them. Bacon unremarkable but fat not rendered😟, poached eggs like hard boiled no yolk, no shape eggs not fresh. Won't be going back there ever. Beans and toast OK. All in all 2 out of 10.

Small plates menu with lots of interesting dishes. The cauliflower and broccoli starters are a revelation! Would also recommend the scallops and the mushrooms in paprika mains. The staff are always welcoming and the service is excellent. Good value too.

Went for breakfast this morning with a friend..what a delightful experience. We had the pancakes with fruit and a choice of honey or maple syrup . Fruit was perfect and so fresh not the usual frozen. Will certainly be going again.

Loved it. The food was incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. We will definitely be going again. Given 2 of our party were vegetarian (one also gluten free!) we were bowled over by the amount of choices they had too!

Arguably the best Breakfast you could ever get. Quality ingredients cooked perfectly and served with a smile and attention. However. The establishment never use social media to inform when closed. 4 times in around 8 months it was closed when advertised as open. We travel 5 miles to visit. A little more forethought guys but please keep doing what you're doing. 4 stars only because of the minor issue. For food 5/5

My daughter booked a table for us during the Christmas break. All the food was excellent, from the starters to the main and just enough room for a shared dessert everything tasted sooo good!! Would definitely visit again!!! The only minor negative were the chips described as shoe string fries were normal chips….. but not going to hold it against them… Thank you to Jess and the chef for the fab food n drinks!! We visited mid-week and totally enjoyed every plate! The seabass was our absolute favourite. 5 plates between us was plenty...then we ordered dessert, safe to say that didn't get finished. Thank you for a lovely, fresh hot meal. Great staff and lovely service!

First time but, we will definitely be returning. Wished it opened a bit earlier 9am rather than 10am, as we would have visited a few more times had it been open. Food is prepared fresh and served hot. Nice relaxing atmosphere

People come from miles away to this restaurant. You will never have a bad meal. Highly recommended and great value for money. I will upload more pictures as I've loads on my cloud storage. Excellent experience every time we go - have been several times at this point. Menu has something for everyone's palette and a constantly changing specials board. Very reasonably priced, considering the quality of the food. With a few drinks a table of 4 (with deserts) cost roughly £35 per head. Can't go wrong visiting here - just make sure that you book a table in advance as it is popular 👌

Very friendly staff, attentive and polite. Food was very tasty we ordered about 8-9 different dishes they were all very tasty a brought to the table hot. My mum was particularly pleased that they did a decent french brandy coffee 👍 food arrived quickly. We were advised as it's tapas the food would come out as its ready. The service was quick too. Really enjoyed it and would definitely go back 👍👍👍👍👍👍

If you want great food then this is the place!!! Lovely setting, brilliant staff and the food is possibly some of the finest in the area. Tapas style menu with a great selection and variety. We had Thai curry, BBQ ribs, Jamaica Jerk Swordfish and Sizzling Surf & Turf (which was a special on the day). We couldn’t fault any of it and cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly which made for a perfect evening - so much so we was meant to move onto a another venue for drinks but ended up staying here till close. 100% would recommend Eden Bistro! Cannot wait to return to try the breakfast which I am hearing is the best in the area. UPDATE - we tried the breakfast omg it's the best in the area!!!!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Eden Bistro. Make sure you book. Dining area is light and bright and spacious and the kitchen is open plan. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. I had the beef and tatties which was gorgeous. Wonderful fresh scone with cream for dessert. Downstairs is a nice gallery and they hold work shops such as WaterColour Wednesday. Pottery etc. Just a generally nice vibe to the place.

Excellent food. Staff are really friendly. Massive choice, even for vegetarians and literally everything I tried was good. The sweet potato taco was especially good, but you really can't go wrong with anything. Went for breakfast a separate time. Had the shrooms and veggie breakfast. Both were excellent. Especially the sweet potatoes on the veggie breakfast, they know what they are doing with sweet potatoes!
