Edmunds Restaurant in St Edmundsbury

We went to a private dinner for 80 people. We were greeted by very polite students and offered a glass of Prosecco. Our meal was excellent and beautifully presented.

This is a fabulous place to go for a top quality meal with wonderful service and a great atmosphere. So many talented young people it's hardly surprising that getting a reservation is only slightly easier that getting a Taylor Swift ticket, but in terms of value for money, go to Edmunds.

Have been here for Christmas Dinner and a Plant Based Taster menu evening. Food was very tasty and well made. Well done to the future chefs out there. They did an amazing job. I recommend going online to find a themed evening to attend. Then book up well in advance

Fabulous meal at the Fruit de Mer evening at Edmunds last night. Can't recommend the Thursday theme nights enough...and to think this is a student training restaurant - just awesome

Just had a lovely Xmas lunch here and was really impressed with the whole thing. The food was excellent as we're the students serving and if the food was cooked by students then they are going to make great chefs one day. All in all the 5 of us had a wonderful time and would definitely go back everyone there should be very proud of themselves.

The food is always amazing and the waiting staff (students) are very professional and helpful. Wish I could eat there every lunchtime!

Edmunds were catering for a family party that i attended and it was superb! The quality of food, the selection and the presentation were outstanding! I would highly recommend them and would certainly go back to them myself!

We came for a specials evening. Scandinavian. It was delicious, wonderfully presented and the waiting staff were extremely conscientious.

This is a brilliant place to eat! The food is delicious and made from fresh produce. They do not waste food and work really hard. They are students training to be in the hospitality industry, but you wouldn't know it because they cook as if professionals.

Fantastic place great food very friendly

We have been many times to their themed evenings and last night we went to the James Bond themed evening. As usual the food was superb it would not have been out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant, service was friendly and efficient. The roulette game after the meal was great fun adding a little extra to the evening. We cannot wait till our next themed evening and I am sure our friends who we took for their first visit will also be returning.

Have had delicious vegetarian meals at Edmunds Restaurant several times and the food quality is out of this world. Really lovely food and a very relaxing and spacious atmosphere.

We went to a Thursday evening themed meal in the West Suffolk College restaurant, and had a superb meal in lovely surroundings. The Thai food was excellent from start to finish, with the main course duck with red curry worth a special mention - a delicious mix of flavours and very nicely spiced. The chocolate fondant for dessert was also a real triumph - the best I've tasted for several years. Great food by the most professional standards - but prepared by catering students, served by enthusiastic youngsters learning about the catering trade, and at extremely reasonable prices. This was a much better meal that I've eaten in most restaurants locally - and we booked up immediately for two more occasions with different themes.
