Food is always great, my wife and children love the place!

This is possibly the best Italian restaurant I have been to. The food was amazing, the portions were a good size and the staff were fantastic!

I popped into this dusty cafe to buy a sandwich, as I was at the railway arms opposite, the men who I assume work here as they were sat there all afternoon, did not even look up from what they were doing to ask if I needed help, on the counter were two poor looking croissants on a cake stand and absolutely nothing else! The fridge was full of cold drinks! Anyway I left as staff are rude or maybe it was because I was a woman and thought it was beneath them to ask if there was anything I wanted. The place is filthy how it scraped 3 stars on hygiene is beyond me, I wouldn't have given it -3 stars! Do not expect to get food here! Probably a front for something else!

The carbonara was incredibly bland—completely lacking salt, with overcooked pasta and absolutely no flavour. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could prepare such a tasteless dish. As for the pizza, it was just about adequate to stave off hunger but nothing more. It’s baffling how this establishment dares to call itself an Italian restaurant.

We had a lovely meal here. Fresh, home cooked food. The prawns and mussels to start were delicious, even the bread on the side. My partner had the fillet steak for main, and I had the homemade lasagne. Yum. Washed down with a bottle of pinot grigio, it was a perfect lunch. Service was also great!
