Stopped for lunch. My parents used to live about 15 miles away (they have now passed) but they took us there many years ago, The food is always great the staff very friendly, It was lovely to return and find the same quality of food and staff, Thank you for a great meal.

With meat supplied by the family farm and cooked by caring folk; it proved to be an excellent combination. Proof being that all the plates went back clean! All the fresh vegetables complemented each other and the desserts were divine. The fact that the whole restaurant was fully booked showed its true dedicated customer base. A place you could heartily recommend, without fear.

Beautifully cooked roast meats, with copious amounts of vegetables make a visit to Eggcup Tearooms a delight. Locally sourced lamb and beef are delicious.

I came here with my son today and went inside and asked if I should order at the counter. I was told someone would take my order at my table outside. After waiting for fifteen minutes or so, without being served I asked someone if I could order. The waitress snapped at me saying have you told her staff that I was outside, which I said I had. She somewhat begrudgingly said “you’re next”. Another ten minutes or so, she came back out and stated “it’s a fifty minute wait for food”. No apologies and again, in a snappy manner. I can only assume that they cater for holiday makers, as I cannot believe anyone would go back to this place. I didn’t try the food and so can’t comment, but it looks a very average menu. In summary, the customer service is horrendous and I won’t be going back.

Pudding to go we are have apple, mincemeat and marzipan crumble and custard and I am having chocolate peppermint brownie and ice cream can’t wait. The swears again are great. All the food we have had here has been very good. Home made cakes, very generous salads and lovely Sunday lunches. They remain good value too.

visited this place yesterday with a dog in tow.Place was empty but the server would not let our dog in.So we went elsewhere.Funny every other eating place in the area let dogs in.With a camp site nearby with many dog owners on it this business will lose trade big time

poor welcome, poor service. terrible food, transport cafe style crockery. Afternoon tea should be a dainty treat. We left most of what was served as it was so bad,

Since my last review on Costa Coffee, Copper Street, Brewery Square, Dorchester the management has changed. The Store Manager there at the moment isn’t nothing like the last one. She has been late several times wen she is supposed to be there on time, turns up wen she feels like it, relies on other members of staff to do her job for her, cuts staff hours, gets members of staff to train trainees wen she should be doing it. If, she’s not committed to do her job properly, she shouldn’t be the Store Manager. Bring in someone who interacts with the customers, friendly, and invites the customers back. Very disappointed in Costa this time round, the Area Manager should consider the next Store Manager.

New owners and what a great meal we had. Currently living in the Midlands and we have a superb range of great curry houses. Not often I come across a menu where I want to try such a range of dishes, it took us ages to pick our choices. They do all of the usuals from tikka Madala to Rogan Josh. In addition there are really interesting Indian dishes including lobster, squid and beef rump. The three of us chose 2 starters and 3 mains between us. The trio of chicken was delicious, even though one of them was bright green! The lamb strips were fabulous, like a minted red current jelly lamb with an Indian twist. If you like a rich slightly sweet curry the lamb and apricot could be for you. My sis had the lamb shank which just fell off the bone. Ann loved her New Delhi chicken which was creamy and full of flavour. The Naan was some of the best I’ve had, light and crisp and the mushroom rice was another triumph. We will definitely eat here again, I’m a real foodie and this was such a lovely surprise, great food, £21 a head with drinks, bargain!

I Had a family evening with cocktails to start, unfortunately they had not a clue how to serve or make these,by a friendly young girl, the food was the worst i have had for a long time, and although i told the elderly lady she seemed to listen but shrug it off with no effect, totally overpriced for what we had ,very small meals, missing the main ingredient FOOD.I hope they can improve and get a barman in to make the cocktails, they need to be shaken, not just pored!!

❌ DO NOT EAT FROM Empire Kebab & Pizza - Dorchester Bit of a gruesome post, but we had bought from empire kebab and pizza in Dorchester, and found a used, bloody plaster in the food. Upon ringing the owner, we were advised that it was a member of staff’s plaster and that he had cut himself and the plaster must have “come off in the food” and we were told to not seek medical advice as he knows the member of staff and he is healthy… not really the best advise from a business owner from a food hygiene perspective.
