I bought 3 drinks and 4asun I was forced to take Pomo which I did not want and 2 herbal Drinks water and appletiser my bill was £85 I felt I was robbed ..same tactic they used when I went several weeks my bill was £92 i felt robbed badly .I am a chef myself it’s awful what they did ..rogue restaurant

Bueno, nos apetecía un poco de suya y Peckham estaba demasiado lejos, así que nos detuvimos aquí. El servicio fue excelente con un personal realmente amable. La comida no fue la mejor que he probado y fue la más cara. 10 por un tazón de plástico pequeño de suya La carne no estaba fresca y estaba súper seca. La comida ordenada, fue incorrecto, los llamó para decir que no era la primera ni la segunda vez que arruinaban mi pedido. Me dijeron que lo manejara. La próxima vez debería abrirlo antes de recogerlo. Idiotas

Primero de todo me 'ld como para decir que la camarera era increíblemente atento y agradable con nosotros y que hizo que la experiencia muy agradable. El estofado era muy sabroso y el plátano frito era perfecto pero el pollo estaba un poco difícil en mi opinión. El en general, fue una experiencia muy agradable y sin repetir la experiencia.

So I met up with an old friend for a drink and a catch up and we decided to stop by Eko an unpretencious Nigerian bar come restaurant in Hackney. We ordered a plate of Asun each, mine with a side of moi moi and his wiyh a portion of fried yam. Asun by the way for those not in the know is grilled smoked goat meat garnished with a very hot but tasty pepper sauce raw tomatoes and onions. Moi moi is made from ground black eye beans, and a combination of seasonsings steamed with small pieces of fish in it. What more can I say other than the food I ate was delicious the Asun coming in at £10 the moimoi and fried yam at £3 respectively and my Star beer at £4. The waitress provided service as beautiful as she and I will be going back in the very near future.

This restaurant promises and delivers tasty Nigerian food with impressive consistency. I have been there many times and each time the food is as tasty as the time before. Also, the attention paid by the proprietors to their customers is exemplary.

When I visited, the resident musician (Ekun Dayo), had been booked out so another guy was playing. Apparently they both bring different crowds and the people there whilst I was there wasn't my cuppa tea. Without holding back in the descriptions, they were "ras", street boys/men who came to get drunk and singalong. It was so overcrowded, I was being pushed in my seat by people trying to get past. Twice they broke into fighting and on the second time the music ended. I had booked a table in advance for 10 people but was only given one for 6 people. The manager lied to us about putting two tables together once some other guests leave, but those other guests had no intention of leaving at all. More importantly the food was reasonably priced but customer service is a myth in that place. Staff were inconsistent, rude, lacked common sense E.g brought drinks with no cups or straws, when prompted to, it took another 1/2hr to receive it. They were definitely understaffed as after placing an order, we waited almost 1hr before it arrived. That was lucky for me as my sister's didn't even show face. Quality of food - 7/10 I won't be giving it a second chance.

A few friends and I went to Eko bar to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The live band was fabulous. We were dancing til 3am. I will be visiting again soon. Xxxxx

this place is very expinsive and the food anit even all that great waste of my 20 pound kmt i understand that they need to make a profit but that was way too much
