Absolutely brilliant place, such simple and tasty authentic Turkish food. I mean brilliant! Kids loved the pizza’s too 😂

Ordered food through uber eats i must say i had the best Turkish food in whole of Manchester “No Comparison” Just Amazing

Spent £66 on a takeaway thinking I was getting more than a standard takeaway meal. Food was missing meals where wrong and it was luke warm at best. After speaking to the restaurant we got a £10 refund and asked could we collect the missing deserts and chips. In future I'll stick to manhatten up the road it's half the price and warm.

Fabulous birthday meal , very welcoming and attentive staff. Food was excellent and perfectly cooked. Will most definitely return.

I ordered 2 chicken kebabs on his own and he still charged me for the rice and the salad which didn't come over.

Fui a ellas anoche y fue fabuloso! El gerente era muy servicial a pesar de que llegamos tarde en la noche. Recomendó la comida para 4 y fue increíble! Toda la carne estaba cocinada a la perfección y tan sabrosa. Ha cambiado de manos recientemente y sin duda es gir mejor. gracias por una gran comida con un gran servicio. First time time last night, bought a sharing platter for 6 to take away. It was awesome, really enjoyed the food. The service was great, very friendly. Will 100% be going again.

The bread is not new and the Sharma is very bad. I don’t like it.

I had dinner with my family at Ella's. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. We enjoyed the family meal with generous portions. The atmosphere was beautiful and warm. I totally recommend Ella's for delicious meals, warm and friendly service and an amazing atmosphere. Well done

Realmente disfrutamos de Ella. Han sido varias veces. La comida siempre está lista. Las sobras siempre se embolsan para llevar a casa con nosotros, ¡y confía en mí que las porciones son enormes! Un ambiente encantador. Mi novio incluso recibió una canción y un baile del personal en su 40. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que busque buena comida auténtica fresca.

I recently visited Ella and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience. To start, the food was far below acceptable standards.mixed kaban were either undercooked, or completely lacked flavor. It seemed as though no effort was made to ensure quality or taste. the service was abysmal. Only one thing is ambience was good. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent food experience. and I left feeling extremely dissatisfied.

This place is a class above the typical elephant leg style kebab shop. You can smell the difference from down the street. Every thing I've ordered here has been delicious. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Don't order via uber we've paid more and got smaller portion. Your better off phoning in and picking it up yourself. Chicken was very dry and just small bits .the salad could of fitted into a small tea cup shocking be warn .

Had an amazing dining experience at Ella. The Adana kebab was incredibly flavorful, tender, and grilled to perfection. The sides and sauces were the perfect complement. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend for authentic Turkish cuisine!

Came here bank holiday with friends. Lots of options available to choose from. Good portion sizes, food hot and came out all at the same time with the others on our booking, so no waiting around. They offer soft drinks, but you can also bring your own drinks here to. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere.

Este lugar era uno de nuestros favoritos. La comida siempre fue de primera. Hemos estado dos veces recientemente y nos hemos sentido decepcionados en ambas ocasiones. El ajo mayonesa que solía ser un punto culminante era insípido y la textura simplemente no era la misma. Estaba aguada. El kebab de pollo y el shawarma sabían un poco rancio, seco e insípido. Espero que este lugar pueda volver a ser como antes.

Best Turkish food I’ve had in the UK. The smell of charcoal makes it delicious. My mouth is watering as I type this. The food is a bit pricey. But it’s worth it. The service is excellent. Staff are nice and friendly. It’s a lively place, with lots of vibrant and chatty customers, can feel a bit noisy to some, but can add to the ambience if that’s what you like.

Food was good,they can enlarge the size of the rice portions. Staff were polite and professional and helpful of course. Music was way too loud considering the size of the place . Almost all the Tables were sticky for some reason ,it was clean hygiene wise but no matter how clean a Table can get,if it's sticky it gives you an uncomfortable feeling . Overall i will be back again cuz the food was ok .they gotta sort thoes sticky tables out .

I got food poisoning. I bought lamb shawarma from there and had diarrhea all night long. I had to go to the toilet 6 times.I guess they don't cut the meat directly. The meat has become like this because they kept it waiting.

First time trying ELLA today, we got the mix platter for 2, the grilled ribs and some drinks as a takeout, all I can say is WOW. We will definitely be returning again and again. Would be nice to sit in next time, the staff were all great and very friendly, portions were perfect and we even have seconds for tomorrow, good quality fresh ingredients. Nothing short of a 10/10

Just ordered and all sauces were wrong and no salads with any meals. Very disappointing! Standards are usually good but not really willing to help or compensate. 63 pound not well spent

I've been here before it was fantastic. I went last night with my dad he ordered the lamb ribs he only managed to eat one I had one it was full of fat and rock hard I complained no offer of a replacement I wouldn't recommend Ella also got the table at the bottom of the stairs we had the waiter running up and down with food and customers banging the back of my dad's chair

I went last night with my friends and held quite high expectations as it was a Turkish restaurant. When we arrived, we were sat on the ground floor, where it was crammed full of people and barely any room to move. It was chaotic, people shouting everywhere, children wailing. The menu is set out like a Kebab shop menu and quite expensive for the food. The server brought us some turkish bread and sauces, which were a lovely gesture. We ordered our food. However, they brought our starters out at the same time as our main course, which looked unreasonable. For main, I had chicken shawarma and chips. The chips were gorgeous and very delightful. The chicken shawarma however, was quite bland and didn’t taste of anything. I had to salvage it with mayonnaise. The mushrooms were tasty, but should have got more for the price I paid. Towards 3/4 of the way of finishing my meal, I noticed a grey hair in my meal. This was not a hair of ours. I felt disgusted and had to leave the rest of my meal. This restaurant also doesn’t serve alcohol, which is a shame if you’re wanting to have a drink. The servers were friendly and the turkish music was lovely. But me and my friends are left feeling ill.

Amazing place! As soon as you walk in your mouth starts watering with the lovely smells. The food is great, it’s only small but cozy, there is a upstairs too for larger bookings and the staff are lovely, nothings too much trouble xz

Always an amazing evening when you visit Ella's. Food second to none.

Decided to give Ella's a go after reading the majority of good reviews, I wish i didn't. Firstly we was point blank refused a glass of tap water. Great start. Myself and two friends ordered a lamb shawarma each - it came with no rice albeit at the top of the menu it states it should. What it did come with was what can only be described as 2 huge dollops of flavourless creme fresh on top of the lamb, absolutely no need for it or maybe it was to disguise what was underneath! The food was bland, luke warm slop - after inspection the majority of lamb was cubes of fat - see photo (that's a bowl of fat!) Genuinely felt sick.

If I could give this 10 stars I would the food is so good and so cheap, the bathrooms are so pretty and clean! Also a free soup if u sit in!! The food is very filling!!

They got our order wrong we ordered a chicken shawarma with rice and chips but didn't get any salad or sauce and there was lamb meat mixed in there too which smelled really bad. Not what you want after a day of fasting.

Went with family on our first visit. Will not be our last visit. The food was superb from the delightful bread with dips to our main course. For main we shared a platter consisting of lamb chops , lamb and chicken kebab and other meats all expertly cooked on barbeque . Served with tasty rice and a small salad. We ordered nan bread as an extra and it was also excellent. They don't have a drink licence but you can take your own which is a cheaper option. The place is nicely decorated and the staff were as good as the food. Looking forward to our next visit

One of my favourite restaurants in Wigan. Kebabs are their speciality. Run by friendly people.

Very tasty foods. There are only a couple of problems; no alcoholic drink is served, and you have to have cash to pay for your meals.

Turkish food cooked on a charcoal grill. If you like copious quantities of grilled chicken and lamb you will love this. Very tasty.

Absolutely beautiful food, cannot fault anything at all. The homemade pitta is just so delicious and we had the mixed platter for two which was cooked beautifully. Taking your own alcohol is a also a massive plus point. Waiter service absolutely on point too, very attentive. Will definitely be back next time we have a babysitter 🤣
