We went for the red panda experience and it was absolutely brilliant! The keeper was friendly and knowledgeable (sorry, can't remember his name!) and the pandas were gorgeous 🥰 First time visit for us and we really enjoyed the whole zoo. All the animals looked healthy and happy (including the new baby Sulawesi macaque!) and their enclosures were clean and spacious. Would highly recommend your zoo and we'll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely memorable day!

Our little one loves this park. We bought season passes which were good value. The park only has small animals and no major species, but perfect for little ones to explore and enjoy. I wouldn't recommend bringing older children as it may be a bit boring for them. The play areas are particularly good, there is indoor and outdoor.

It isn’t really working that well it has a lot of slides at the bottom and I can not get rid of them abd you keep on showing me this when you aren’t even going to look at this.

We love it here. So many things to do! Soft play, rides and animals. Just wish we lived closer! Love the character days too

My husband and I recently took our two children, aged 10 and 6, to Drusillas Park, and we absolutely loved it! Even in the winter, there was so much to see and do. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were amazed by the variety of animals, and feeding the rainbow lorikeets was definitely the highlight of our visit, it was such a unique and exciting experience! The indoor soft play area was fantastic and kept the kids entertained for hours. We were also really impressed with the food and coffee served on-site, great quality and plenty of options. We enjoyed our visit so much that we decided to purchase the Annual Pass and can’t wait to return many more times throughout the year. Drusillas Park is perfect for families, and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

Drusilla's is an excellent place to take young children. The range of animals is good but not overwhelming. The animals all look to be very well cared for. The playground and soft play areas are great and offer a distraction if the animals are not enough. Be aware that the rides may be timed on less busy periods with not all open at once. Also some food areas may be closed over winter. The food in the main area is adequate and not over priced. I have been visiting this zoo with all of my children over the years and whilst they are ageing out I have always enjoyed it.

It's a brilliant place to visit with young children as they have a range of great anemities including soft play and Sparks - their sensory room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The animals are well looked after in very reasonably sized enclosures.

We went there Thursday 12th for the panda experience. As we'd traveled from near Reading we got there slightly early. EVERYONE was very friendly and we ate at the café beforehand. Nice food and drink, fair priced. The zoo itself is relatively small compared to others but clean, well- presented and animals looked in good condition. Chloe, their keeper, was kind, friendly and knowledgeable and we prepared their food. The 2 red pandas were adorable and the whole encounter was lovely and a little emotional/ moving. It was fantastic and we had a great time thank you all. Only downside is the looped music in some parts which would drive me mad 🤣

Really disabled unfriendly. Staff demands, loudly, and in front of other guests, to see credentials or a blue badge for a toddler. Despite him having buying him a year pass, wearing a hearing aid and on a feeding tube. This isn't even part of the terms of service as listed on their own website. This isn't the first time we had issues here with disabled discrimination. Park itself is nice and lots to see and do for those who don't need support

Enquiring re gift vouchers and membership, two ladies were very helpful. However the reception was extremely noisy/ tinny.. not easy to hear

My eight year old loved it .it was expensive but so much for kids to do its worth it and we will be going here again.

Rain doesn't deter the enjoyment of small children meeting the most fabulous santa again - or seeing the animals

Had a great time today, park was quiet which made it very relaxed to walk around. Most of the rides still a bit too adventurous for child just under 2 but he enjoyed seeing the animals and the decorations. Staff all very friendly and particularly helpful regarding credit for one guest we had booked but was unable to attend due to illness. Will definitely be back in the spring!

I'm 63 and used to visit drucillas with my parents in the 1960's! Didn't realise it was still open until I just read a Peter James (Roy Grace) novel which mentioned it!! Wow! Next time I am in Sussex I will DEFINITELY be visiting again! So excited, such happy memories xx

First time to the park with our 3 year old daughter. She had a fab time - especially the soft play. I used to go when I was little but that was many years ago now. Only small gripe - daughter had a bit of an accident in her knickers so took her to the loos in the soft play area and these were rather grubby. Would definitely come back though.

My 1st trip with my grandson To drusillas ,I haven't been in years and was very surprised how much it had changed going forward. Lovely place to take young children.. Very educational ,and And wildlife conservation Minded.. lots to do Themed events and feeding programmes daily, which can be found on the drusillas Booking site ,easy to do.. A lovely experience .

Young families - avoid Drusillas in October / November: Drusillas zoo is normally a favourite place for our family. We visit the park once a year and normally have the best times seeing the animals, playing on the rides and going on the play parks. It’s the perfect zoo and day out for kids under 10. Last year we avoided the park during October so that we would not have to see any of the Halloween decorations. This year we went in November thinking that they would’ve been put away but they were still out. The decorations weren’t things like nice autumnal pumpkins or scarecrows but instead, there were terrifying witches and zombies depicted around the park in places that were unavoidable for the little ones. Even my seven year old had trouble going to sleep last night because of the things he saw around the park. In particular there was a zombie depicted with violent cut across his body and across his neck that look like they’ve been stitched up, with blood dripping down and a violent face. I can’t believe that is allowed in a park that is visited by toddlers, and particularly that the decorations are alongside the main walkways. Violence is not something, that should be encouraged by the zoo. I’m very disappointed…

Met young grandsons on a day trip, they absolutely loved it going back to see Santa

Always have a great time with my toddler at Drusillas, so much to do for her. We're annual members which makes so much sense if you're local and plan to go more than 3 times throughout the year. Park can get busy in school holidays but staff always manage the crowds very well. Only slight thing I will say is that staff could be speedier on the rides to get through queues

Great place to take a toddler. Loads of cute animals up close, animatronic dinosaurs, soft play, large adventure playgrounds, fairground rides and even free arcade games and kiddy rides. Money well spent.

Grandchildren loved it (and so did we). Not cheap as no reduced entry for over 65s etc but still worth going.

Good day out, the food is really expensive but that’s expected.. my only fault is the fact one poor girl was running the donut store, she was serving people, making donuts, cleaning equipment and making more mixture all by herself in a VERY busy shop… don’t get me wrong she was handling the pressure very well, with a big smile and super friendly service.. however the work load she was expected to do should be illegal!

The animals are amazing. They are kept in really lovely, clean enclosures and is such a variety. Lots for children to play and have fun on all around. Chicken tenders were great. Unfortunately customer service put abit of a dampener on it for us. This was a real treat for us and it's just a shame there wasn't abit more friendliness. It makes such a difference.

It was a great park with a great variety of rides, shops, restaurants, etc its great for kids and would recommend to go.to get to a 5 star rating I would say adding mobility scooters and ways of easy transport for disable would be great.(also having the donut shop often more would be great).

Superb park for younger children and these with disabilities

Great day out as there's loads to do. Highly recommended for little ones from 1 year old up. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Lots of different animals that seem very happy and well looked after.

We went for the sloth close encounter experience, one of mine and my husbands bucket lists is to meet a sloth. It was such an amazing experience, Julie the keeper was very informative and very kind throughout the experience. This is my first time at this zoo but certainly won’t be my last, this zoo has won me over. Staff were all very friendly and smiling, zoo in general very tidy and easy to get around. Great for kids and adults.

Was great lots for the kids to be entertained . Queues were not to bad for the rides

Not worth the money at all. Many other parks half the price. Totally money driven. My opinion is that the staff are drilled not to try and help buy the best prices tickets and to try and get as much money as possible. I drove 39 mins with a family of seven there, Had an offer kept flashing up constantly, kids half price as out of season, got there, the guy on the door just said "it's an online offer online" so I then replied "no problem, I will pay online" and in response he said you can't buy the tickets on the day of arrival. So he wanted nearly 200 pounds to go in..late in the afternoon. Maybe an hour and half left before closing.

We love Drusillas, we have an annual pass and can’t recommend it highly enough. It never gets old seeing the variety of animals, the play areas are ideal for the kids too.

Warning: Take your grandchildren here and you and they will take a week to recover from all the activities and fun. The zoo is clean and fun but educational. The play park is brilliant.

Visited here with my 19 month old grandson. We had a wonderful day out and really enjoyed. The animal enclosures are really good with glass windows down to floor level so the little ones can see. Lovely selection of animals and they all look very well kept. Good restaurant to have a meal in and a nice gift shop. Very impressed and will definitely be returning soon.

Really good day out for a family. Only criticism is that there is no family discount. You have to pay for everyone separately. For a family of 5 that's £175!

Great day out with my family yesterday. The zoo part is lovely with all animals looking well looked after and happy. My daughter loved all the interactive bits answering questions and doing challenges. Rides were nice and staff manning them were friendly and welcoming. The play areas and free arcade are fab. Cafe nice but quite limited choices and you had to wait for some things to be cooked but this could have been as we visited on a weekday in school time. Overall a nice day and value for money.

Such a fun day out with kids and adults of all ages. Really enjoy our days there. Plenty of places to stop for a picnic or grab some food. Endless play area and softplay to enjoy. Recommend the annual pass if you like locally.

I think everyone decided to go as it was a 2 for 1 offer. It was ok for the £60 for the 4 of us. An affordable family rate would be a better way to encourage more families to visit throughout the year . Just a bit too busy that day. Loads to see, big play area and the rides are good for young children.

Absolutely loved our experience feeding the Capybaras and Beavers at Drucillas. Had a good look round before. The keeper was fantastic at telling us how the park was run...we had a good time with the animals and it was fantastic feeding them all. I'd definitely go back and do another experience. A great spot for kids and adults alike!

Very busy. Long waits for rides and difficult to view animals because of the crowds. Probably would not visit again at the weekend for this reason.

Really great day out, even in October (the weather was amazing actually!). A fantastic range of animals to see as well as play parks, rides and other entertainment mostly included in the ticket price. Worth the ticket price, but even more worth it probably if you get an annual membership! Some opportunities for 'up close and personal' with lemurs and lorikeets and they offer zoo keeper etc. experiences for those who want it (and have the cash!). Highly recommended!

Be prepared to pay a little more for admission but once inside it's a great place. Other zoo's have larger animals that in my opinion make you miss the smaller ones. This zoo gives you a great opportunity to view the smaller animals over longer periods of time.

First time here on way home from camber sands. Kids loved every bit of it even they were ok standing waiting for rides to open as they had skeleton crew on. They had a special on buy 1 entry get 1 free. so for 6 of us made it worth every penny

Incredibly busy but not surprising with a very good offer in September. Just up the road from us and we visited without children to see what's new and of course the many animals. Entering the park later in the day saved us from queueing at the entrance, it always feels crowded in those immediate indoor areas but once outside there was plenty of space for everyone, Drusillas has kept plenty of the heritage interactive attractions that we have loved for years and brought in many new things and it is the perfect blend. We enjoyed 4 different rides and as the cycle length was short the queues didn't get too bad. Was good to try (badly) the shooting game and lots of modern coin operated attractions both games and rides were all free to play. Service in restaurants was a bit slow especially for coffee but the potato wedges were some of the best I've ever had. Very pleased to have such a good attraction literally on our doorstep and long may it prosper

This park is amazing - even on a day of torrential rain and wind, we were able to access every part of the zoo and saw all of the animals. You can see the inside of enclosures if the animals aren't wanting to be outside. We went on the Capybara and Beaver Close Encounter with our keeper Amber, who made the experience so special and informative. We felt safe every moment we were with her and would book again in a heartbeat. Well worth the 5 hour drive from the Midlands to see!

Good day. Rained abit in the morning, but stayed dry all afternoon. My family and grandkids are a good time.

Kids absolutely loved the park! We started with the zoo, stayed in the splash zone for a while, and ended up in the playground. Wonderful day out with the family!

Nice little zoo with many other attractions for the kids and most of them included in the price, food isn't cheap but not extortionate and what we had was good value for money, overall recommend.

Used to visit loads as a kid so when we got invited along for a family day out we couldn’t say no! My daughter absolutely loved the rides and had not stopped talking about the rides so we had to take her back! And even better they had a 241 offer on! Staff are very friendly! Rides and play areas great. Can’t comment on the food as we never purchased any. Toilets clean! Would visit again! Great day out .

Very fun place to take out the kids, my nephews loved the place. I wish i was a kid myself so i could enjoy the big playground they have in there and climb it to the top and come down on the slide.

We paid £170 for a spider phobia course for my son for Christmas. We travelled from Sandhurst, Berkshire only to be told when we got here that only my son was allowed in to the course! I couldn't even go in to take photos. There was no mention of this at any point before arrival. Very disappointing!

Really good day out for the little ones only down side and it's a little one is the first part of the zoo was uncomfortably busy but soon settled down other than that a good day out

We had a Really lovely day out here with children. Not much of a wait to get in. Spent over 5 hours here, so much to do and re do! Only down side is how expensive coffee and snacks are. We luckily bought our own lunch. Definitely be visiting again.

Great adventure park. You need at least 4h to see everything they have in there and it's a lot. They have enough space for parents to chill and enough entertainment for kids. I love it

Good, but always more money than you want to spend

I have been to Drusillas over the years and enjoyed the zoo every time. On Tuesday the 4th of April, I booked my sister the close encounter with meerkats. We were met by zookeeper Simon at the visitor centre after being given our badges and certificates. Simon was so welcoming and warm, incredibly friendly with 15 years experience at the zoo! We were shown how food is prepared for the animals and then taken to the enclosure. They really do look after you and the animals at all times. Simon even took some amazing photos of us and the meerkats together. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for my sister. Best birthday gift goes to me!

This is such a lovely little zoo. I really enjoyed my day here today. The animals are so close to the pathways and the pens are sensitively designed to give the animals enough space & a pleasant living area. The staff are all so friendly & eager to help & share their knowledge.

It was so much fun to see the animals, we had experience feeding the red pandas and it was amazing the girl who was with us had so much knowledge and she was so friendly, I highly recommend visiting.

My son and his grandparents had annual passes so went all the time as my son loved it. Each time they went they spent time exploring different areas. When I went with him we spent a whole day there playing inside and out, looking at the animals and going on the rides. There really is something for all ages and I loved how once you have paid to get in there are not extra charged for rides, arcade machines etc and with an annual pass you get discounts on food and drink in the cafes etc.

Nice day out kids really enjoyed themselves. We used our kids pass discount which helped with the cost otherwise tickets would have been pricey considering children pay the same as adults!

We visited on Wednesday 28th August, during the summer holiday. This was our second visit there since our first 6 years ago. We visited with our 9 yr old and 6 yr old. The animals and zoo area are brilliant and the kids loved walking round them all. The rides are definitely for the younger kids(6 and under). The playground was fun,but we didn’t use the splash park as it was too hot and busy when we were there. Food options on site are the usual overpriced burgers,pizza,nuggets. Glad we took a packed lunch. We wouldn’t come back again as feel the kids are getting a bit too old for it, plus the distance and price for us is too much.

Had a great full day at drusillas on Thursday. I was very happy to see the animals didn't look stressed and their environments were very clean and lots of water provided for the hot weather. Although I'm sad that it's a bit of a bottle neck situation at the beginning of the zoo due to lots of people crammed inside the small area. But once you get pass the barn animals you get alot less people. I found the entire grounds of drusillas wheelchair accessible to me (in a powerchair) the disabled toilets by the amazon adventure cafe were very spacious with an ceiling hoist, adult changing table, adjustable hight sink as well as 2 separate red cords which were hanging freely! But unfortunately the disabled toilets in the men's by the hippo ride was very small and I could barely fit in there, as well as no red cord. I was able to enter every shop I wanted as there were ramps and adequate space to get around. Prices in Teddy's jungle safari (which you have to walk through) were surprisingly reasonable, brought two teddy's for £22!! The walk through lemur and lorikeets were all on flat ground too and was fine for me to go through in my wheelchair (as long as someone can help you with the doors and the plastic flaps) Will definitely be visiting again

Great fun for younger kids and families, plenty of animals to see and a play zone near the end, plenty of gift shops around.

Great fun for a mix of all ages. So much more than a zoo. A great mix of things to do for the kids. Rides, softplay, splash park, biggest sand pit I have seen, character meet and greets. Disabled friendly with a good changing place bathroom for those who need to be hoisted and it actually works. The train can also accommodate big wheelchairs and a person along side too. The animals look happy and fun interactive parts that help you learn more about the animals. Good experience overall will come again. Cheaper to pre buy tickets online even by the day before.

We had a fantastic family day out! We visited on a bluey weekend ! My 3yearold loves coming to drusillas there is so much for him you do! The splash park is his favourite. We always take a pack lunch to have in the picnic area as food can be pricey. We will definitely be returning!

A fantastic zoo/amusement park in an easy-to-access location. The animals are great, nice range of rides and entertainment for the kids and really enjoyed the whole day.

Went here primarily for an experience with the capybara and beavers and what a great experience it was, the keeper was very knowledgeable and it was great to be so close to the animals. The park itself is very good with a wide range of animals and plenty of rides and amusements for children.

We (Birmingham PHAB camps) visited drusillas this week and had the best time ever! We had 9 children all with a range of additional needs and there was something for everyone at Drusillas. The children loved the sensory room, rides, animals and play area! The staff were so accommodating and made getting ride access passes so easy when we arrived. A special shout out to Andy Brown who allowed our children to ride on the train 3 times because they loved it so much! He really made our experience so enjoyable!
