Eve in Kensington and Chelsea

Everything was horrible. The staff are rude and the manager continuously asked customers to leave when they were still eating. The £5.00 matcha tastes disgusting The tables are wobbly and dirty. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

A great venue with a fantastic menu that never disappoints. Special thank you to Tony who took care of us during out recent visit. He was attentive, accommodating and made our visit extra perfect.

Lovely atmosphere bur unfortunately had a bad experience with the staff. We got there and the cafe was empty so we just sat down somewhere. Immediately, a member of staff shouted “Did I tell you to sit there?”. We apologies saying since the venue was empty and no one was waiting at the door we assumed we can just sit and he kept saying so many people are waiting and asked us to leave and wait outside. There wasn’t anyone waiting for those tables. We were then sat down in another area with a kinder member of staff immediately after but we were take aback and were quite upset by the behavior of the first man. This is not a way to treat your costumers!! The service was also incredibly slow. Such a shame because otherwise it’s a lovely cafe with an amazing atmosphere. Very disappointed

Pizzas are so good. The garlic knots even better, the best thing on the menu. Really lovely atmosphere. Service was great, shout out too Tony, Aman, Rahem & Elli. Will definitely visit again

Had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s birthday lunch here today. The ambience is so nice and most importantly Jaime the F&B manager is just fabulous! His warmth, personality and hospitality is just beyond scale! Highly recommended!

The 8 pounds extra on the bill which was not specified is not very pleasant when you are already spending a large sum. I think I was a good customer by having 2 cocktails and 4 dishes for 2. It's not very professional to scam his customers. We won't come back again.

Amazing service with friendly service from Tony and his team Rahim and Amen, we reserved our table this Friday for 10 guests at 6:30 pm, but we were late but our table were ready The supervisor greeted us very well and his team , we ordered our food everything was served on time . Staying in London this is a great option with chilled atmosphere and the most welcoming team. Casual and relaxed surroundings at tbe bar and restaurant with some tasty snacks and pizzas. Tony and the team will look after you!

Simple yet delicious. The spicy turkey pizza and the parmesan fries were better than we expected. The service was great, whether Tony or the rest of the crew they were all friendly and helpful.

I recently visited Eve in Kensington, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. While I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, the manager’s behavior left me no choice but to share my experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off – unwelcoming and tense. It was far from the cozy, pleasant vibe you’d expect from a café in Kensington. However, the real issue began when I had an interaction with the manager. Their behavior was shockingly unprofessional, dismissive, and outright rude. When I politely brought up a concern about my order, rather than addressing it constructively, the manager seemed irritated and defensive, as if my feedback was a personal attack. Instead of offering a solution or even a simple apology, I was met with a cold, condescending tone that made me feel completely unwelcome. A manager sets the tone for the entire establishment, and if this is how they treat customers, I can only imagine how they handle other aspects of the café. It’s a shame because the concept of the place had potential, but the negative energy and poor management overshadowed everything. I wouldn’t recommend Eve to anyone who values good service or a welcoming environment. There are plenty of better options in Kensington where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy and respect – this certainly isn’t one of them.

Booked a table and sat down, at first service was friendly and food arrived promptly. However after finishing our meal, we decided to get a coffee and take our laptops out, the manager then suggested we moved to a different table as we were at food only tables. I kindly asked if we could then finish our coffees first and was rudely told no. After being moved across the hotel to a completely different area, we were brought our bill in which we kindly asked to remove service charge as we were not happy with the tone we have been dealt with. The manager then responded that he can not remove service charge, this is unheard of???

The pizzas were super tasty and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Our server Aman was lovely and very helpful. Also, it’s a beautiful setting.

Place is beautiful but then no one came to take our order, so we needed to figure out where to ask for a coffee, coffee came a bit messy. The place looks cosy with the design but it wasn't, didn't enjoy the environment, and it was very cold inside too.

Quirky bar, lovely deco! Conservatory setting - must be wonderful in the summer with the doors open into the garden. Pizza was delicious, so tasty! Friendly, attentive staff. Shout out to Lotty - a great cocktail maker!

Nice WFH space but seats and outlets are more limited than before. The staff are overall nice, but seem a bit frantic or disorganized.

I was so excited to try this place after seeing it on social media. Upon arrival, the venue itself looked like the photos- beautiful decor etc. We walked in to be told that we could not have a table (despite making a reservation a week earlier) and had to sit at the bar. We agreed, but had to wait 10 mins, awkwardly stood there for them to wipe it. This took about 5 employees, each of them asking us the same question, as we watched absolutely chaos unfold. The manager was being very loud and rude to what looked like visibly new team members who were asking reasonable questions. When finally seated at the bar, our drinks arrived and in fairness they were fine. It was what was going on around us that ruined the experience. Staff all swarmed around the bar, bickering, looking very confused. One lady swore, another lady walked in moaning about a colleague right infront of us. The manager even stood and did a huge yawn over us as we sat there. One guy was very sweet tbf, just clear lack of training or management. After 15 mins of watching this unfold we left and ate elsewhere. Such a shame as your venue is beautiful, but the message given to guests is messy and chaotic. Food looked good but didn’t get to try. The manager watched as we left after our first drink and didn’t even ask if there was a problem. Won’t be coming back.

Turned up at 9.15am on A Saturday. Cafe was empty though barrista was overwhelmed with orders from guests breakfast room. Tried three times to order and gave up each time. Like a hilarious episode of Fawlty Towers as staff argued and melted down in front of everyone! Beautiful space to chat as long as you don’t want to eat or drink coffee

Very bad service and Worst service I have ever seen, I ordered mac and cheese and after 45 minutes the waiter comes and says we don't have it? After 45 minutes of waiting!!!!

Wouldn’t come again! The food is a bit of rip-off. There are service charge on top of the menu which makes it insanely bad value for money. And they are trying to kick you out to accomodate the new people who comes in. Despite only have spent 1h and half, I was told I had to leave if someone comes in and couldn’t find other empty tables. It would have been fair if they could stick with the 3h rotation rule. Atmosphere is nice and interior is great! I wouldn’t recommend the services and food tho

absolutely LOVED this place! the atmosphere, insanely beautiful… i wish i could live right in the restaurant🤭 the staff, so lovely and incredibly sweet! and the food, so yummy! i got the spicy rigatoni and it did not disappoint! definitely recommending to anyone that comes to London! And i’ll be back for sure;)

One of the most beautiful, warm and inviting atmospheres with such attentive and kind staff! We had such lovely conversations with everyone and we will definitely be coming back in the future!

Overall a really great hotel and cafe. Lovely food and service. Especially the waiter, Khalid stands out. He was incredibly attentive and made sure to check in multiple times, refill coffee and all in all made sure everyone was having their needs met.

There are a lot of cool coffee shops and it’s all about the ambience and the barista to make the coffee and the experience feel better to come back again. And Khalid barista has created the warmth to the customers and my experience here. It has brought me back again and again to see his nice smile and kind eyes - who pays attention on the small things with an eye on the big things to take good care of the Eve’s customers.

After feeling quite stressed about where to sit and study or with food, our waiter Khalid eased that super quickly, he was so accommodating and friendly and made our experience of this place delightful! So welcoming and smiley

The interior is lovely and calming , the greenery and music add so much to the place but , nothing beats the lovely service . I was served by Khalid and he was very lovely , welcoming and helpful when it came to my order and choices .

The guy at the front of the house and bartender today was in a super rush for some reason when there are not busy when we came in, we just sat at the table and asked what we wanted already and he came to us twice while the other group that sat before us still didn’t have to order and then again when another Asian table comes he goes asked them first while the European group take a seat first but he let them enjoy their moment first not rush into it, But food and the atmosphere are ok.

Weird spot for a pizza but I am always on a mission to find London’s best pizza. Saw this place on Instagram and it looked good. Short review: not worth it, average at best. FOOD Pizzas are supposed to be New York style and I was excited as I just got back from eating pizza in NYC. But no, this is not a tasty vodka sauce pizza or a good pepperoni. I’d give it 6/10. STAFF/SERVICE Super unhelpful staff who prefer to chat in the back than serve customers. No friendliness, no helpfulness, nothing, just the basics. Well basics for me means no service charge. ATMOSPHERE/LOCATION Perhaps the strangest thing is the location: it’s in a 4* hotel on the busy Cromwell Road inside their lobby. It’s a weird setting being in couches and eating pizza on small tables, we didn’t particularly enjoy it. My partner complained about the strong smell of perfume which was abundant throughout the venue also. CONCLUSION: Instagram fad, won’t return. Go to Franco Manca down the road and it will be better and cheaper. Or go to Alley’s Cats for proper New York pizzas.
