Came here after a session at FarmEd and was not disappointed - all food is using the locally sourced produce from the regenerative agriculture scheme here and changes very regularly. I got the soup of the day which was served with hearty poppy sourdough bread and shared a ploughman's platter, which featured a range of unique cheeses and pickles. Their dessert selection is also great. My partner really enjoys their honey cakes. It can be a little difficult to find, but this place is a real gem to visit and always busy with guests and tours when I have gone.

What a lovely place this is limited menus but all food sourced locally. Had some lunch and food was lovely also had some cakes to take away which were also delicious. There is a guided walk around the farm using QR codes did part of this which was very informative. Rain started so we never got to finish this. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely go if you are in the area.

Foodie Alert! We had the sampler with wine pairing and were lead through a delicious taste bud experience!! Creative use of fresh ingredients and complimentary flavors had us intrigued throughout the whole meal! Artfully presented and skillfully described. This is a MUST for those with appreciative tastes!!

Went here yesterday for lunch with two cousins who were visiting the area. We live in Birmingham, so it was an easy run down to Finstock for us. What a wonderful pub. We arrived there rather earlier (our table was booked for 1 pm), but "mein host" allowed us to sit by the roaring fire, and wait for our cousins - turned out to be an hour, but he didn't have a problem with that. We also had a delicious decaf coffee while we were waiting. He was so very friendly and made us feel very comfortable and at home. Our cousins arrived and we headed over to our table, and were greeted very warmly by a very friendly lady who asked us if we wanted drinks, she gave us menus and then told us all about the dishes on the specials menu. My husband had the steak, I had the pan fried whole plaice, one cousin had the hake steak (there was only one left!) and our other cousin had fish and chips. Two of us asked for no potatoes but extra veg, which was no problem at all! All our four meals were absolutely delicious and my whole pan fried plaice, in particular was absolutely superb - perfectly cooked and came with a large salad and some sugar snaps! None of us had dessert, but had coffees, which were excellent. We are so happy that we found this little Cotswolds gem (my husband and I had been out for a country walk beforehand (the route started from across the road to the pub) and it was a lovely place to meet up with our cousins! We were chatting for s uch a long time that the lady front of house probably had to remind us that they needed to prepare for a kiddies' event being held there in the afternoon! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!
