Wonderful breakfast. Great value, beautifully cooked, good ingredients. Traded in my beans for a third rasher ! Great coffee too. Yes the building site opposite is a little noisy, but not always and the work will finish !

This is a nice clean cafe but the building works going on opposite make it really unpleasant to sit outside. Plenty of seating inside tho. I ordered a breakfast...unfortunately it was more baked beans and bland scrambled eggs with a slice of toast and butter and 2 'rashers of bacon' which were like something you'd sole your shoes with...too hard to cut so I had to break it up and eat it with my fingers! Admittedly it only cost £7 something but it was not an English breakfast. Bit disappointing but perhaps I should have read the menu better.😒

Great place for a drink cake and a chat 👌

After eating here this time last year, we just had to try it again and we were not disappointed, the food ,atmosphere and service were and still are outstanding, cannot recommend this eatery enough.

The food is fresh and tasty especially the cakes. My scrambled egg was great on toasted white bread

We had a quick mid-morning snack of Cheese Scones, tea & coffee. The ladies are hrlpful & friendly & the food is always lovely, fresh & tasty. Well worth a visit for snacks or lunch - cakes & cream teas we can also recommend!

Quick stop for breakfast and coffee. Bacon and egg bap good, but do not serve full English breakfast, not a problem on this occasion.

Our 1st visit to finishing touches while staying in Seaton we had a cream tea for 2 it was the best cream tea we had the fruit scones were amazing along with plenty of cream and jam first class we visited the next day for coffee and later for sandwiches and cake it was lovely

Nothing, absolutely nothing dairy free - we were 5 people with 2 vegans ... bread was disgusting, bacon panini was microwaved, beans were cheap ... all in all, we won't be going back!

I am writing this purely on the breakfast as coffee and cakes etc are good ,however we stopped a few weeks ago for the breakfast which was awful ,pretty certain everything was microwaved as asked if I could have poached or fried egg instead of scrambled and we were told no , So half the plate was filled with too many beans and too much scrambled egg ,bacon I am sure was microwaved bacon ( I have been sent micro bacon as samples before and its awful) toast was toast Really don't think this does the cafe any favours

Very nice place sat in back ordered a pot of tea for one & a ploughman's & a some carrot cake. It's very good the ploughman's was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Only problem was playing but that was down to the WiFi & was sort out quickly. All in all had a wonderful time will go again.

Very nice afternoon tea, best scone I've had in a while and the serving of cream could have done 2 people, shame I don't like cream, but very nice and a £5 each if there's 2 of you. Would have liked some butter on the tray or possibly some sweeteners in with the sugars, but that's little niggles compared to the lovely food. Definitely would go back again if I return to Seaton.

I hate to say this but, it is a good place to sit in...unfortunately, its like entering a day care centre as Seaton has turned into a elderly retirement town.

Not great for breakfast. No pastries, only cake. Coffee doesn’t seem to contain any coffee. Nice place enough place.

Owner rude and not at all family friendly. Quality of drinks and cakes ok but not what you would expect for the price. Won't be going back.

Covid safe, excellent coffee and service.

Polite staff comfortable place to eat and has toilets but not for disabled, food and coffee was very nice, sandwiches are a bit expensive but are large with a generous filling and a small side salad, only let down a bit by the fly's.

Staff rude we were asked to vacate the table we would have ordered more drinks but when your being scrutinised through the window it makes you feel uncomfortable won't be going back prices are expensive

Don't pass this place by or be put off by the location. Finishing Touches was a really great find. Excellent food and wonderful fresh cakes. All very clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. Such a shame about the view across the street.

Very basic food and coffee. Wouldn't give tap water with food. Staff were lovely though

Really disappointed with overall experience, not family friendly, expensive for what you’re given and unfriendly owner. They definitely have some finishing touches to do to make me want to go back.

I thought that more effort could be made to gluten free cakes. Considering what was on offer for non gluten customers, I don't understand how a few fruit and nut bars could be considered acceptable. However, we did have a lovely coffee and would revisit.
