Super service only beaten by their chips, OMG they are so good. Wife is a vegetarian and had their Halloumi Skewers again super nice, if you haven't been here like myself all I can say is best I've had in a long time.

Excellent fish and chips, the large cod is particularly good. Keep it up guys!

Best chippy food so fresh and tasty

Last week I had ordered fish and chips and got it delivered. It was amazing. It arrived piping hot, the cod was golden and had a lovely crisp to it and the buttered roll was exceptionally soft. I repeated the order last night and it was fabulous again.

Chicken burger was ok but the roll was too soaky as the chicken was too greasy! Won’t be ordering the chicken burger again.

Lovely little local fish and chip shop. The place is immaculate and you can tell they cook/ fry in clean fresh oil. Portions of fish and chips are generous and service is quick and friendly. I would love to try other things on the menu!

After a day at Wallasea Island & walk on the prom at Southend, we googled best fish & chips in the area and found Fish-a-licious. Courteous friendly welcome, order taken quickly and offer to bring it to the car when ready. Fabulous fish & chips - beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Thought i would pop in quickly to grab some food and was suprised at how friendly and well mannered the staff were. The food was amazing and will definitely be going back there in the future when im back around this area.

Working late and stopped here on the way home, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food served not only that they served gravy an added bonus for a southern chippy. A real treat.

It is so nice here!! the range of foods is outstanding. the staff are so lovely and the atmosphere is nice clean and fresh to be in. i think all the food is 100% worth the price. And the gluten free batter is so good to have 😋😋

I have never used this fish shop before. But I have just had a takeaway delivery and it was so nice. The chips were lovely my Burger was amazing and the fish my partner had was huge and yummy. Hot food and quick delivery. I won't be going anywhere else now for Fish and chips. They also have a big menu to cater for all🍟 🐟🐡

Worst fish and chips ever had. 3 large chips one medium Haddock into the bin. Total waste of food and money! Raw mushed chips and tasteless fish.

First time my expactaions have been exceeded! What a delicious pizza! Proper real authentic not a processed base or sweet sickly tomato sauce, fresh tasty toppings. It tasted and looked like real Italian pizza. They also do really good fish n chips.

I ordered rock and chips. The chips were fine but the rock was very poor, it was like a Frisby and about half inch thick which included the batter, very disappointing.

Absolutely amazing. First time here and could not believe the choice, quality and value for money. Staff were so helpful and welcoming which isn't the norm nowadays. Fish, sausage, chips and kebab skewers were cooked to perfection and the salad was so fresh and crisp, lightly dressed in olive oil which was also a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend and this will definitely be my go to chippy from now on. 10/10

Just had a 2nd night enjoying the beautiful tiger prawn salad, with a sweet chilli sauce at Fishlicious! It tastes as good as it looks, is served out on their decking area in good time, by very friendly staff. Would highly recommend if you are passing by.

It was awful the fish didn't have much batter, I love my crispy batter, the chips were all shapes and sizes some as big as a potato cut in half, it was my first time ordering from here, a friend told me it was nice, the oil was greasy, I won't use it again

Stopped by on our way home from the coast and wasn't disappointed. Quality Fish & Chips, all cooked fresh to order. The piece of Cod I had was as big as my thigh! Everyone said they enjoyed it, the portions were massive and proper value for money. Great people, great attitude and most importantly of all......Great Fish & Chips!! (If you don't fancy fish & chips, there is a number of other items to choose from on their menu) EDIT: Stopped here again on our way home from Southend Airport, again it was absolutely bang on. A car full of kids and case's and the fella offered and then helped carry the order out to the car, great attitude and great food. 2nd EDIT (June 2022): Cod & Chips... Wednesday special just £4 per portion. An absolute bargain and the quality is still there. One of the best Chip shops I've ever been to and the staff are exceptional also.

Staff were lovely, friendly and polite. Food was mediocre. The chips tasted re-fried and we found that disappointing. The saveloy and battered sausage was completely flavourless.

Dreadful. Dry tasteless fish and oven chips

Good quality food but very poor and cheap way of serving it. The paper they wrap the food with, I can assure you toilet tissue can handle the moisture more then this establishment uses. And the lady on till could do with bit of smile while serving I have seen more cheering up going around in funerals then this establishment

We ordered food and tried a couple of items which were :- boneless chicken Angara which was a mild spicy and a delicious dish, chicken Lazeez and it was very tasty it is also highly recommended, Surmai masala which was amazing fish toased in a tasty masala and you liked it, we also had chicken burnt garlic fried rice and was very fresh and had cheese on top - highly recommended dish. Food packaging was good and spill proof, they sent all sauces and food reached in time

Exceptional food and friendly staff

Hubby said staff was nice but as far as the food it’s not a real chip shop if you serve frozen steak chips that don’t even taste of chips shop chips. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone to eat sorry very disappointed. ☹️

GF fish and chips for only an extra pound was great (most places charge much more than this) and the staff were very careful to keep mine separate. Unfortunately there was a hair on my fish which put me off my meal.

Their fish is always excellent quality and value and served with a smile. We have grilled and they do it well as well as Gluten Free for those that need it. Been going here for years, never disappointed. This time we collected but they deliver for free locally.

All the food was really nice but the curry sauce was honestly the worst I've ever had. Like curried water

Worst meal we have had from here, usually excellent so not sure what happened tonight. Everything was cold and needs cooking again. Please tell me why the salad (which looked lovely) was swimming in oil??? Three stars given because we order regularly with no issues

Gluten free chips and batter for your choice of fish/ chicken. Also now serving pizza gluten free or vegan with choice of toppings. Friendly staff and clean environment. Perfect for me as ceoliac!.

I visited this place like a tourist, I had to eat on the go. The restaurant give me everything rold in paper the fish and the chips with no utensils or any sauces or salt. I would recommend this restaurant to invest to serve the food on the go in boxes, souses and extra salt for a tourist costumers.

Great piece of cod, nice and chunky and just the right amount of batter ie not smothered in it. Chips were chunky as well and lots of em.

Very disappointed paying £38 for four gluten free fish and chips we were expecting something quite good. The fish was over cooked and dry with very thin fillet not even 12mm thick, the batter was more like a dry cover with a yellow Indian colour look. The chips were so large most went in the bin will not be going back very very bad so would not recommend to anybody. How you expect to survive nowadays like this you want to try and eat what you are selling. Saturday 7th November 16:30 would not recommend should have returned for my money back.

A small venue with very friendly service, good prices and delicious gluten-free fish and chips (the one with gluten is delicious too). My wife is celiac and she didn't have any issues after eating here and she really enjoyed the meal. I really enjoyed mine too, both chips and fish and were well cooked and very tasty. Highly recommended!

Phoned up regarding a gluten free order, staff were very friendly and accommodating. My girllfriend who is a celiac had the gluten free cod which she is very rarely able to find and was delighted with it! I had the homemade burger which honestly was one of the best burgers I’ve had. We didn’t have any cash so a card machine was sent out with our delivery which came very quickly. Will definitely be ordering from you again, thanks so much.
