Perfect location with briliant seafood! Food was delicious and service was attentive. Cod dish was our favorite! Would definitely recomend it!

The mussles are good however, sad to say, my plate of food was very basic and tasteless. Their sea bream was extremely dull and the outer skin was burnt. The bowl of spinach was also tasteless The baby potatoes were mushy and basic. I did not enjoy paying over £100 for food which tasted like it was made by an inexperienced beginner chef. Unfortunately I won’t be back and I can’t recommend Fish Market. Total waste of money

It was okay. The food was well presented and the staff were friendly and efficient. Food didn't blow us away though for the price. Atmosphere was okay, quite minimalist, nothing fancy.

Estimated delivery time was 10-15 minutes. Food arrived 40 minutes after ordering. Don’t advertise a timeframe you can’t stick to. Food was cold as a result.

What a revelation, the set lunch menu we had was incredible value for money. For starters we had the prawns, large tasty and perfectly cooked. For the mains we had the grilled Sea Bream over crushed potatoes, again a generous portion and it was fabulous. For dessert , mixed fruit crumble which was delicious... happy to recommend and will definitely return

We had the most wonderful meal. The scallops were outstanding. All the fish is so fresh. Excellent side dishes - loved the little roast potatoes. Big thank you to Catalina for looking after us so well. Great staff are importantly when you have food allergies and she looked after us brilliantly.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and you could tell it was made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The staff was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was modern and chic, perfect for a night out with friends. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Cené sola mientras mi esposa me enviaba mensajes de texto para informarme de una extensión inesperada de su jornada laboral pero no me preocupe, ya que encontré nuevas amigas en Kris, Katerina y Catalina que me cuidaban tan bien, ¡dándome sustento a intervalos regulares para mantener mi ánimo! A veces era difícil, pero de alguna manera me las arreglé probablemente debido a las suculentas vieiras en un caldo crujiente y tierno, y las gambas picantes en una salsa de curry suave hecha aún mejor sumergiendo el mejor pan plano de ajo a la parrilla que recuerdo. ¿He mencionado la esbelta botella verde de Vinho Verde refrigerado y crujiente a un precio muy generoso? Sí, por supuesto que extrañé a mi esposa, pero (casi) disculparme... Tuve una noche encantadora... y estoy deseando compartir una experiencia similar con ella la próxima vez. La mejor comida de marisco que he tenido en Londres, soy amante de la comida y he cenado en muchos restaurantes de Londres, sin embargo, el mercado de pescado era excepcional en todo. La comida era fresca, sabrosa y muy bien presentada. El personal era muy acogedor y amable, nos hizo sentir como en casa. Un amigo que no disfrutaba de los mariscos antes de la lonja de pescado cambió de opinión después de la experiencia que tuvimos aquí. Definitivamente volveré aquí en otra ocasión.

Asistí a la celebración de cumpleaños. Debo decir que el servicio era inmaculado, por decir lo menos. Los entrantes fueron un placer absoluto; bien presentados y lo más importante deliciosos. Las ostras son de lejos una de las más deliciosas que he probado. El plato principal se combinaba por tener un gusto tan individual y auténtico. Crédito al chef y camareros por tan gran experiencia.

A lovely dining experience and probably one of top 5 ever, my wife and I are both foodies ❤️. Kat, the manager and her assistant were both friendly and professional. The rail strike took away a bit of the ambiance, yet it gave us more time to chat and to enjoy our romantic evening together. The food, service, wine (Satyr Sauvignon Blanc) were absolutely amazing and great value for money. Kat, offered us a complimentary blood orange dessert that was so delicious. I would certainly recommend Fish Market and the for next time I'm in London.

Really slow service despite it being quiet. Starters and main were good. Chocolate fondant dessert was overcooked rubbery and no sauce inside.

Lovely meal here last night. Food was excellent, service attentive without being intrusive. Location easy for Liverpool Street. Only minor downside is door is open all the time so a little chilly to start - but soon warmed up! And to be fair they did offer to move me if a problem.

Food so delicious that even if you do not like fish/seafood you can not possibly regret eating here. From affordable prices, next to Liverpool Street station to amazing dishes and lovely staff, everything is just what I needed to enjoy a lovely afternoon. Definitely recommend the King Prawns, sea bream and scallops.

I always get my fish and chips from here but was disappointed this time I found the fish was very salty and inedible.

Truly expert at fish. Sourced excellent quality, perfectly cooked. Table service was excellent. Matre de pleasant but not warm. Venue, well it’s limited by shape and space, cannot be grand. The Chef, the kitchen - amazing. Really outstanding, exceeded expectations. My friends had muscles, cod - both commented on the delicate, existed cooking. I had beef cheeks with truffle mash, root veg and red wine jus. Surprising to see this on a fish restaurant menu, but wow. Deserts -simple, classic and yum. perfectly balanced in sweetness & sour, colour, crunch and paired expertly with wine / port. Value - good. This is client or special occasion dining for me.

Soulless restaurant not helped by being empty at 8pm on a Friday night. Fish was cooked perfect and very fresh. Service was good and it was reasonably priced.

Quality fish served simply. Small core menu with daily specials. It is one of the best places in London to get Fish. Close to Liverpool Street Station. It's worth making a journey to visit.

ロンドン訪問に備え、予め日本で予約してから伺いました。宿泊先から近く、クチコミを参考に予約しました。11人で訪問しましたがセットメニューではなく、当日アラカルトで注文出来ました。美味しいお料理で、雰囲気も良く、楽しく食事することが出来ました。リストにあったシャンパンが品切れでしたが、すぐに近所に行って調達してくれました。

Fish Market has been in the City of London a long time and has always been a great place for lunch and dinner. A truly enjoyable and excellent quality meal. Will definitely return and recommend.

A last minute search on Open Table uncovered this delightful restaurant hidden down a back street near Bishopsgate. I was on my own and keen to escape the Saturday football chants outside the pubs. However, peaceful as this certainly was, it was also virtually empty. A family of four was the only other guests and they left half way through. This lovely open space was consequently rather echoey and I felt very much alone with my book. However, the staff were very pleasant and, considering there weren’t many of us to look after, also not too intrusive. I started with a delightful plate of scallops which I wiped clean. The cod main course was delicious. And I enjoyed the glass of Chablis. However, the spinach was very soggy and the salsa verde just tasted of onions. I felt sorry for all the staff that had to Work for so few diners. And, while I don’t object to paying well for good meals, I did not feel the meal merited the £90 final bill.

Food was excellent as always but the service was rather slow. It was not busy when we arrived. Got busy and then everyone else seemed to have left and we were just getting our main courses. Still a good lunch though.

What a hidden gem, when you need a fish fix this is the place to come, the food was delicious and really well balanced, plus the Provence rose made it a great meal. Came for a business meal and service was great! We had the Cornish cod main, green beans and heritage tomato salad which were all super tasty, fish was cooked so well...all presented beautifully. Will be back

Cannot fault the food, mushy peas with fish and chips to die for! Wine overpriced, needs to be more realistic, not everyone eating in the City is putting the bill through expenses ! Good priced set menu on offer. Four people on table for two even though pre-booked, very cramped. Staff attentive but could have tried to raise a smile!

Had a lunch with 2 friends. We sat outside on a lovely sunny day in a comfortable, covered, shady area. It was clean and quiet with no cars passing , just a few people walking past. It didn’t feel like we were just around the corner from Liverpool Street station. The food was delicious. We had fried whitebait to start and fish croquettes. Seabass fillets as main. All cooked beautifully and so fresh and tasty. We had dessert. Forest berry pavlova, crème Chantilly & raspberry sorbet, Dark chocolate mousse, raspberry compote and a selection of sorbets. It was a set menu lunch at £30 for 3 courses and a glass of house wine which was very good. Such good value.

Crazy place but it’s worth the visit. If you take the risk, the street food seemed amazing.

Fish was some of the best I’ve had for a while, the sharing fish platter was beautifully prepared and served, really tasty, especially the Octopus in a slightly spicy sauce.

The restaurant is easy to find. Warm welcome and lovely alfresco dining if preference to being inside. Food is outstanding and good value fir money. Not a cheap place to eat but well worth the money. Definitely on our list if restaurants to visit again.

I had booked this restaurant as it had outdoor seating and offered a specially priced 'Agust menu' which offered good value. Our booking was at 7.45pm and I was surprised to be told on arrival that the special offer menu was for bookings up to 7pm as there was no mention of this on either the restaurant's website or Open Table when I made the booking. After querying this with the manager, he did eventually honour the offer and said he would make the timing clear on the website. We were happy with the way he handled the issue and the food and service were excellent.

Amazing seafood restaurant... I recently dine in Fish Market and had an exceptional experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned, making each bite a delight. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience with just the right amount of time between courses. I'm definitely looking forward to returning soon!

Limited menu (a good thing IMHO), but expertly prepared , balanced flavours. Good but pricey wine list (hey, it’s London) I’d recommend it without hesitation

The food in this restaurant is soooo good!! Hard to beat when it comes to fresh fish and seafood. Service also fantastic and staff can't do enough to ensure your evening is everything you wanted it to be. Thankyou again for a great visit.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday and had the three course brunch menu for £32 a head (not including drinks). It was very quiet and we sat outside. Service was excellent : very friendly and efficient and the food was really tasty. I'd definitely go again.

I went for lunch with my mum at 1:30 on a Saturday. We both had the three course brunch menu, which costs £32. We had grilled octopus, sea bass and mango sorbet, plus we ordered some sides (roast new potatoes, a divine heirloom tomato salad and green beans). The food was all delicious and our waitress was lovely. Plus as the weather was nice we sat outside, which was very peaceful as it's slightly back from the main road. Overall, a lovely experience and I'd definitely return.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening with a couple of friends. A good quality menu to suit all palates, and a pleasing selection of wines at reasonable prices. The service was very good and great to have the terrace as a seating option for the summer. Definitely worthy of a revisit!

Easily the freshest seafood and fish in London. Service is always exceptional

When we looked at your menu on line, at the bottom in small print, it states a 12.5% service charge has been added to the prices but when the bill arrives a further discretionary service charge of 12.5% was added. So in-fact5 we paid a service charge of 25%…..that is too much and a cheeky thing to do. Wonder if many customers realise this. Next time we shall point this out and only pay the 12.5% .

The place wasn’t busy so I can’t really comment on noise levels. The food and service were very good. The cocktail was delicious.

A lovely afternoon with friends before the Euros football match! Food was great in terms of value and taste. I had the bottomless fizz deal and my glass was constantly topped up! Fabulous. This is the second time I have been here and would definitely go back as it is a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street station.

The fish here is perfectly cooked and delicious. We visited on a Monday at 2pm for lunch and it was a bit quiet. Overall, a lovely meal.

Super fresh food and great value for money. We took advantage of the 3 courses deal with bottomless Prosecco and really enjoyed everything we ordered. We were the only table in the restaurant on a sunny Saturday lunchtime which was a shame. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - we couldn’t fault a thing.

Food is good quality and well prepared and presented. Most dishes are good quality and fair value. I’d say the crab burger could be improved to make it better value, but nice concept all round. Staff are great, service efficient, will visit again.

Another excellent trip to the Fish Market. My guest and I enjoyed the skate wing and it was as delicious today as it was the first time I had it. The food is exceptionally fresh and the service friendly but not intrusive. The Gusbourne English sparkling wine goes beautifully with the fish and is worth a glass ( or two!). Prices are in line with City dining but the quality is remarkable. We cleared our plates and look forward to another visit soon! Keep it up Fish Market team! :0)

Meeting some former colleagues near Liverpool St the options are many and varied. As we all like fish we opted for the Fish Market as my wife and I always enjoy eating here It has a very pleasant outdoor area at the front which really should be more popular with passers by. Perhaps we haven’t had the weather this year to do so. The starters were excellent and likewise the ‘market’ fish. My skate wing was well cooked and choice of sides likewise, as were ( so I was told ) my colleagues selections Two courses were ample for us. The wines are reasonably priced and the service just right We all enjoyed our evening and will probably meet up here again in the Autumn

Lovely service and friendly attentive staff. The sharing platter was great! My only feedback would be that the menu is not very exciting. It needs a few more seafood options like a lobster linguini or a seafood paella or fish stew/bullabaise?

Opposite Liverpool Street station do super easy to find. Had lovely two course set menu lunch, staff were attentive but not overbearing snd didn’t rush us either. House white was very drinkable too.

Rather let down by this expensive place we ate the calamari starter which was absolutely tiny and rather over done and oily. Went for the fish pie for main course which came nicely presented in a metal dish with prawn on top but it was literally at most an inch deep including pastry. The pie filling was mostly sauce with only a few small pieces of fish inside it was a shock for 25 pounds.

We were greeted warmly and seated in our preferred spot within the restaurant. The service was welcoming and suitably attentive without being ‘in your face’; a pet hate of mine! We both had the skate which was fresh off the boat. Wow! Just wow! All the food was first class and arrived perfectly cooked. Paired with a favourite British sparkling wine, we had a wonderful experience here.
