Just had a takeaway delivered. 2 dishes between 3 of us.. lt was vile. Ordered Chinese chow mein, chicken green peppers etc, chips and fried rice. The chips were cold and the chicken was terrible, looked insipid, tasted of nothing and the whole meal felt slimey. Never again

Ordered crab soup and got fish stick soup instead even my dog refused to eat it. I'm sure that's breacking the law under trading standards, plus the other food was cold

Wanted to order online as we normally go to Lais so haven’t been to fortune cookie in years. Online ordering great. Delivery driver lovely and so chatty and personable. Food delicious and colourful. Full of flavour. Free drink and crackers for ordering over £30 so well chuffed.

If you are ordering online, beware. They close their ordering online system when they are busy. Saying they are closed until 04:45pm the next day. That time is incorrect as it does not exist.

Awaited 2hrs after been advised 40 mins delivery... Still no food .... Given 1star because I would have given lower.. as no body from fortune cookie has advise me food been delivered late...... Will never order from there again after Year's of ordering...

Best Chinese I've had in Moorends, strong flavours, fantastic sauces, very tender meat, loved ever bit of it, deffinatly be using it again.

Have ordered food from here for years and always had tasty, beautifully cooked food. However, tonight's meal was the WORST meal EVER!! Spring rolls soaked in oil, chips soaked in oil and definitely re-heated from hours before. Fried rice darkest of brown, overcooked. Special curry bland and a powdery texture to sauce. The pork in it, which is questionable, had a really funky taste. The dog refused a piece and he eats anything and I mean ANYTHING. Sweet and sour sauce BLAND, Just bright orange gloop. Never will we order from here again. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.

Easy to give bad reviews but these deserve 110% . Had a take away tonight probably the best Chinese take away I’ve ever had . This is only the 3rd time we have used them and every time it’s been 110% . Well done .

Brilliant from chef to delivery, I gone from chips n egg to Chinese

I'm not impressed. I ordered a small order at 6:44pm online, given 60min wait time for delivery. Gets to 8pm, I ring to check where the order is, was told 'it'll be on the next delivery in about 10 mins' okay, great. We. Were. Starving. Gets to 8:25pm, my fiancé rings, was told the exact same thing again, my fiancé replies with 'thats what you said the last time' and I dont think the chef/owner or whatever title they are realises we could hear her down the phone moaning about how busy they are. That's understandable, it's a Saturday evening but the attitude was unnecessary. Low and behold, our food turns up at 8:50pm... a little over 2 hours from ordering. The reason for the 2 stars is the food tasted really good.. was it worth the 2 hour wait? Absolutely not. But if did satisfy our hunger. We haven't totally put off ordering again, next time we'll order to pick up, especially at peak times like tonight. Also I'll add... I have felt quite sick after eating BUT that could be because I hadn't eaten since 12pm and I shoved my food down my throat without a second to think. Everything was cooked and hot but the beef was questionable.

Poor quality food. Absolutely shocking waiting time. After an hour wait, told it would be half an hour. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER.... (2.5 hours total) 4 different meals ordered and eveeyone of them was tasteless. Never again!

Terrible waiting time! Ordered at 17.47 said it would be 40mins, called at 7pm to be told it be 30mins contacted again at 8! To be told 10mins and didn't arrive till 8.20, Food was bland and tasted waterdown, even the sweet and sour, Wont be trying again

Excellent chinese im very picky and particular with what I eat. These guys made every effort to fulfill my order how I like it and is alway tasty. Customer service is fabulous couldnt sing this place enough praise

Always order from here food is good but never again ordered at 5-30 just after they opened rang at 8pm told food will be on next delivery asked how long to hear in the background a stroppy voice say idont know 20 to 30 minutes So we all enjoyed our pizza from Effes NEVER AGAIN

Best Chinese I’ve had and definitely best in Doncaster area. I live in Wheatley now and we still drive back to Moorends for their food.

absolute lad chen whips up a mean sweet and sour chicken balls and chi li slaps up some prawn crackers, peng tea would recommend to anyone overweight. absolute legend leon chen is the owner so get mailing ladies while you can

After ordering it, they said 40 minutes in which it never actually came, and ringing 1 hour later they said apparently that the driver had been and had rand me twice, i checked my phone, no calls and there was actually no knock on the door. They then refused to send food, leaving me and my friend annoyed and hungry. Ridiculous.
