Frank's Coffee House in City of London, Westminster

Been here a few times now in the early morning for a bacon sandwich, and it's always a delight. Nice relaxing ambiance inside, good coffee and sandwiches; and always friendly and welcoming. Would recommend.

Great little cafe. It's so nice to find an independent family run business with very reasonable prices. You will not find anything fancy here, but what you will find is fresh wholesome food. I really like the chicken escalope selection. Will have to come back for breakfast.

Vinimos a almorzar y tuvimos suerte de conseguir una mesa. Tomé un escálope de pollo en ciabatta con ensalada y mayo. Era una porción enorme y muy buena calidad y excelente relación calidad-precio en £ 6. 50 . Una taza de té costaba £ 1. 50 . Tienen una buena elección de alimentos, incluyendo papas chaqueta.

Hi everyone, I think you should all stay very clear from this place a lot of people right reviews just to hate on businesses but I’m only writing this because of how disgusting my food was and how ill it’s made me. I got a chicken scallop baguette I watched him get it out the fridge slice it up and put it straight in the microwave which is fine. Until I got back in my car to eat my lunch. The chicken was slimey and gray when biting into it it was like a hard rubber that you couldn’t chew was disgraceful probably sitting there months and now I have extreme food poising. When I went back in there I got told there fresh and get made new everyday that one piece of chicken must of been a one of.

Frank's just cannot be bettered and it's a lot more than coffee. Frank's is near the office where I have worked for 9 years and it's very popular with my colleagues and me plus lots of other regulars. When my wife and I travel, we always try to seek out where the locals go and Frank's ticks that box. The food is very good quality and freshly prepared. It is fantastic value, but not fancy. Inside is immaculately clean and Frank has a wonderful team of staff who make you feel very welcome. Frank himself is a London based Italian - a great host and I've known him for many years to become a friend. He had a similar place near where I worked in the City in the 1990s - one of his staff is still with him. You could say that I am biased, but actually it would be more accurate to say that I am very loyal to Frank's as it is just does what is needed when you want good food, quickly with great service. Great for a traditional breakfast or delicious toasted paninis at lunch. My top choice is an omelette. It's close to Oxford Street and Oxford Circus or Great Portland St tube stations and worth seeking out. Cosy inside in the winter and great to eat out on the pavement when the sun is out. Great Titchfield St itself is interesting - close to the action at the southern end with some interesting shops and businesses leading up to the residential end near Regent's Park. Buy your picnic here! Go and find it!

This is such a cute and friendly coffee and sandwich cafe. We enjoyed one of Frank's daily specials and it was delicious.

For either breakfast or lunch it’s always lovely to come here for the amazing service and delicious food. The server always great you with the biggest smile and definitely make my morning a little brighter.

My Sisters and I had a Simple Bacon Sandwich, cup of Tea/ Cappuccino to the standard I would have made at home. All a sensible price. Would definitely go back.

Frank’s makes you feel at ease and at home even in a part of the city you may have never been. The staff is wonderful, kind, and accommodative - they made us a vegetarian breakfast to order that wasn’t on the menu, as well as customizing a sandwich due to some dietary needs. They offer made-to-order sandwiches as well as a wide selection of ready combinations. The food is also quite good, especially for the price. The prices are very affordable, the atmosphere is down to earth and welcoming, and the custard donut… the custard donut is divine.

Excellent local coffee house, friendly and quick service! I come here regularly and it never disappoints. Highly recommend.

Went here due to good reviews regarding coffee. Unfortunately this was not the case. Cheap prices but reflected in quality, i’ve had a better flat white at McDonalds

Came here on a trip with my boyfriend. I had a lovely home dish of chilli and rice it is the best place to get a meal in London. It is the cutest café in London and the people are an extra pleasure. They truly do more than make amazing food.

The owner was very attentive and the coffee was tasty. Also very very budget friendly!

A hidden gem just off London's busy Oxford Street. Go for the great priced, great tasting coffee and stay for a fresh sandwich and old school customer service. Frank's has a charm that can't be replicated in any big name coffee chain. Support local.

You can tell this is a ma n pa shop (more like grandma n grandpa). Clean, bright, organised, nothing fancy. Great variety of food, quick and attentive service (Frank is there in person). We had soup n ciabatta, very nice, with coffee to finish. The bill is so economical, never have budget problem.

I like the food at Frank’s Coffee House but am concerned that they put the full debit/credit card number on their receipts, so if a customer loses it or just throws it away, they won’t know someone else could get their card details just by looking at the receipt. I’d like them to just show the last four digits of the bank/credit card numbers like most other places.

We have seen this place before but never tried it and as it had tables outside we gave it a go for a chicken escalope and cheese ciabatta with a cappuccino. The ciabatta was very nice with an enormous piece of chicken - almost too much to eat. The cappuccino was very good too. Prices were good for the portion and the area.

Great coffee, friendly and quick service, tasty food, clean and well-kept. If you are looking for a down-to-earth place to relax and have a bite, just a few minutes off busy Oxford Street, this is a great choice. Nothing fancy, they just deliver the goods, hot and tasty!

The food is always hot and fresh. A bit expensive. Sometimes you can have the same thing everyday and its a different price. Today I was charged £5.70 for one egg two toast and a tea

Frank's is a homey spot in the middle of central london. It's a rare gem to find good food with good service. It's Italian so there's lots of personality. Quality with quantity. I haven't tried the sandwiches but the pasta are good. Bolognese. Carbonara. Lasagna. All very filling and satisfying. The coffee of course is really good. Frank is quite congenial. The croissant though wasn't particularly good. Choose the ciabatta.

It's hard to beat Frank's for a good breakfast or fast sandwich lunch. Staff there are great. Energetic, sincere and always with a smile. Get a breaded chicken sandwich toasted with a deli salad. Good prices for central London.

Mi sento di consigliare a tutti questo locale, in particolare agli italiani. Questa coffe house si trova in 50 Great Titchfield St (a 400 metri dall'uscita dell'underground Oxford Circus). Si possono trovare panini, té, caffè e prodotti italiani (prosciutto crudo, salumi, formaggi, ecc...). I prezzi sono economici e il proprietario è originario dell'Emilia Romagna. Qualità, simpatia, ottimo gusto e il miglior rapporto qualità/prezzo che ho trovato a Londra. Assolutamente da provare!

Questo locale a Londra si trova in 50 Great Titchfield St (zona molto centrale, a 400 metri dall'uscita della metropolitana della bellissima Oxford Circus) e lo consiglio vivamente, specialmente agli italiani. Il locale è una coffee house, non ha tanti tavoli e vende principalmente panini, té e caffè, ma anche tanti prodotti italiani ed ha tante cose che piacciono a noi italiani: pulizia, cortesia, buona tavola (prosciutto crudo, salumi, formaggi, ecc...) ed ha prezzi super abbordabili, direi quasi italiani. Il proprietario è originario dell'Emilia Romagna e ha collaboratori bravissimi siciliani e di altre regioni. Entrare nella coffee house vuol dire sentirsi per un attimo a casa propria e poter scambiare due parole in italiano, ma soprattutto mangiare bene, sano, di qualità ad un prezzo abbordabile a Londra (che è una cosa rara). Tanto per fare un esempio, il tè con il latte lo mettono 1,20 sterline (che è anche la metà di quello che si paga in molte città italiane ed è un prezzo inarrivabile per Londra, dove il prezzo normale è 3 sterline se non addirittura 4,5) (!!!). Un cappuccino, ma di quelli buoni (alla italiana) lo si paga 2,30 sterline ed un panino superbuono e molto ben farcito (ci fai un pasto) 4,80 sterline. Naturalmente, poichè è vicino al palazzo della BBC, negli orari di punta c'è fila, ma il servizio è veloce e accurato. Che dire di più? Non è proprio sulla strada principale, per cui se non lo conoscete non è possibile che ci arriviate, ma poichè la zona è certamente da visitare, una piccola deviazione vale ampiamente lo sforzo. Il consiglio è di andare in orari non proprio di punta (meglio ad esempio dalle 14,30 alle 17,00), così si trova posto a sedere e si possono fare due chiacchiere. Non aggiungo le foto interne per problemi di privacy (il locale era molto pieno e le persone parlavano allegramente, come se ci si trovasse in un bar italiano). Grazie Frank, sei un orgoglio per noi italiani!

My friend recommended we meet at Frank’s Coffee House during my impromptu visit into London. Immediately I was greeted by a lovely Italian man who explained I could sit and have a look at the menu whilst I waited for my friend to join me. I was there a good 20 mins before my friend joined me and in this time there was a lovely vibe the restaurant, and lots of Italian chattering. My friend recommended a chicken sandwich with extra fillings. The waitress taking the order however had a very angry attitude, when we asked if she got the whole order she replied with “I’m not stupid”. She proceeded to tell the kitchen our order and still missed an ingredient. Anyways this did not dampen our mood, the food arrived so quickly and it was a really big portion. Couldn’t fault the food or the price at all.

Nice family run cafe at reasonable prices. Be aware that no toilet though

Worst service ever from one of the younger waitress with long black hair..... management needs to fire 🔥 her asap. She has no manners or professionalism...My partner and I came for a meal and were told to sit down. We asked a question and that's when the waitress then came and threw the menu at us on the table and told us to look in the menu ourselves. as she didn't have time to waste. We just decided to walk out and went to Mortimers Cafe where the service and food was as brilliant🤗😉 as the sunny Saturday we've had 13/10/18😎
