This delivery driver took an hours detour around carshalton. The food I am sure when it was handed to the driver by the restaurant was hot, but by the time it reached me it was soggy and cold. Just Eat you are rubbish. Consider my account closed

The fish was good. I prefer the chips more cooked. The curry sauce is not like traditional curry sauce you get in fish and chip shops - did not like it at all.

Hour and half delivery and cold food once delivered!! Not happy at all!!!!

I ordered a tower chicken burger, which is supposed to come with hash brown and onion rings. Didn't come with any of those, there was one strand of lettuce, a tiny slice of onion, and a burnt chicken fillet. No hash browns or onion rings. Also, I asked for just vinegar on my chips as my mum can't have much salt intake. The chips were covered in salt. They obviously didn't take notice of what I actually ordered, and the food was made with zero care. Avoid ordering from here and save your money

I had tried the fish and chips, a while back, when visiting a friend and have been meaning to go back since, and so, I took my mum on a Friday and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of food; the chips were hot and not oily and nor was the fish. The batter was light, which I know my mum appreciated because sometimes she has to peel off the excess batter from the fish. The service was excellent and the gentleman who served us was so accommodating and friendly, thank you! We decided to sit down in the shop, to eat our food and the atmosphere was great, very clean and pleasant. We’ll definitely be back!

very poor quality chips was old and stale tasted like lunch times chips reheated. usually very nice has been ordered regularly but never again. please just take more pride with your food.

Chips were stone cold and not fresh

This fish and chips shop is by far the best. The service by these gentlemen is always humble and friendly. I live a bit far from Sutton but only come to Sutton for their delicious food, there are no good Halal fish and chips shops anywhere near me however the journey is always worth it. I Always get a large cod and chips with a battered sausage which is also halal. I can't recommend this place enough. If your ever in Sutton and fancy good quality service and great tasting food please come here. jazakallahu Khair Isa

food was terrible and soggy. few hours after eaten, one by one, the whole house started explosions from both ends of the body if you catch my drift

Sadly packaging really bad and child’s drink in the middle of the hot food? The chicken was very dry and sadly the fish had a few bones in it and the box it came in was soaking wet with oil not very good

Not sure what's going on with this place since we first ordered. Last time the Large cod was small and this time the cod batter was very greasy and soggy. Worst chippy I've had unfortunately.

Food was not great at all could tell chips were not freshly made and had been sitting there for a while I normally order from here and never have problems and the delivery driver decided to drive away from my house looks like to go to another fast food restaurant… not happy with food or delivery service :(

Best fish and chips. Love their sausages and cod. Chips are always hot and exactly how you'd expect from a fish and chip place. Curry sauce nice and the home made garlic sauce is very yummy. Did wish they did chilli cheese bites or jalapeño cream cheese, besides the sides being a bit lacking. The mains are fantastic- taste and value

The driver went 20 minutes out of the way before delivering the food. Over all the food was delivered 25 minutes after the original estimated time.

Fish had smell of ammonia,indicating fish not fresh .I think I will order else where next time.am disappointed ,first time this has happened always had good fish from U ?

3rd order, on a positive food was hot. On the negative pies were dry left in warmer to long burnt inside (2nd time this has happened) chips tasted like they had been refried! really not nice, we shall not be ordering again.

The food was inedible. Dry, powdery chips, soggy, fishy smelling and tangy tasting cod, and sausage that seemed to be closer to dry cured than deep-fried.

After Frydays Fishbar was sold to a new owner, I was interested in visiting. I had previously been buying my Fish and Chips from a Fish and Chip shop in north Cheam, which was a good takeaway but was a few miles away from my home. The new owners have done a great job in reinstalling confidence in the quality of the food as it was awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating from the council, which added to my confidence to visit. I have been to this fish and chips take away a number of times now, and the food quality is always very tasty and appealing. The chips are perfect, and the fish has always been fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly and talktative, and I've never been disapointed.

Food was stone cold, put it in the bin. Not a happy customer. Driver just left it in my porch and drove off with no explanation as to why he was so late. Not a good advert for Just Eat.

Old Chip shop at the bottom of the high street has been reopened with new owners , just tried it today, chips were lovely and fresh and the cod was stunning. Highly recommended

Fish didn't taste fresh and felt very stale

Unfortunately both the chips and the fish were dry and as they were hot I felt they had been hanging around being kept warm, not freshly cooked.
