Been here before but not for a while, but as excellent as I remembered it. Food was so tasty and spiced just as I would have wanted/expected. Service excellent and reasonable prices.

Ganesha manager Dan was amazing - he took an order 3 days before, by email and delivered our dinner to our workplace in Bristol himself. Absolutely delicious food, great value, great service!

We must have eaten somewhere different to the 5* reviewers. For example, dried chillies (rather then fresh), slimy sliced mushrooms (maybe tinned?), rubbery chicken are not our definition of good cooking. The chicken tikka, served as a full portion not a starter, was the worst ever in both taste and appearance - it was served as a plate of spongey meat with a few shreds of lettuce and 3 small slices of cucumber. Tried other restaurants but couldn't get a table so we were surprised to be the only diners here. Not surprised now. Also, what is the justification for a 10% service charge - as it's not a self service restaurant there is no other option so it just adds 10% to the advertised prices.

Came here on a whim from other reviews and it did not disappoint! I went with the kozhi varutha curry...wot a dish. It has a slow build of heat and wonderful flavor. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Do not pass this place up...make it a stop!

We visited Ganesha last night the food was so delicious and test fresh . The restaurant is done very traditional way juts the way you would find in India very ladies back with vibrant colours. Service is super fast and very friendly as well . Lots of different option on the menu to choose from will definitely back for more

Just got a delivery directly from Ganesha. Quicker delivery than expected, with friendly service. Really good flavour, especially the lamb Sagwala- very succulent. Food came very hot. Naans were tasty and big. Looking forward to dine in in the future.

Lovely, family owned business that deserves more attention! Simply delicious, authentic, Indian cuisine. I have been a customer for nearly ten years now because I just think it’s there food is the best. There pashweri nan bread is out of this world good, along with any of there unique curry’s. 👌

One of the few Indian take aways in Bristol that I can trust anything in the menu... no added sugar in dishes to make them sweet and "desirable". Always on time or earlier with delivery. It worth ordering from their site, rather than usual common online services.

Era la prima volta che mangiavamo in un ristorante indiano e siamo rimasti molto positivamente colpiti dalla bontà del cibo e dalla cura nella preparazione e nell'impiattamento di ogni pietanza. So you are in Bristol and wondering what to do for a meal….go to Ganesha…best Indian meal I have had in ages, and I have had a lot.!! Service was great, was recommended a dish, went with it and my god….greatness has arrived. Stop pontificating and get down here now….you won’t regret it.

This restaurant was so lovely for date night with my partner, the food was delicious and the waiters were friendly and welcoming. The mango chutney was so good we needed to order another bowl and the chicken korma was my favourite dish of the night! Will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone in the area!

Came here for a birthday meal on bank holiday Monday and was very delighted with the food received. We all had starters and mains and all of which were very delicious, in particular the chilli chicken to start. There was something to suit all spice levels so everyone was accommodated for and for the amount of food we had the price was very reasonable!

I've only ever ordered takeaway from here. Always very good and portion size is not as small as some other more expensive eatablishments. My favourite dish is the Khozi verathu chicken. Lamb madras is also good. Delivery is always very fast.

Really good food and helpful service! Was visiting the city and very pleased with the meal - really good range of veggie options too.

Sadly with decent reviews, we came away disappointed. The Cobra was flat and not child at all. We sent it back. Then to replace we had a couple of Coronas - but that was it, the entire stock of Corona was two bottles. Two between three. When you're mate is fresh of a plane from New Zealand and your catching up over a beer and curry it would have been nice to have one each. We chose badly on the food front as we all had Jalfrezis. Normally a reasonably spicy dish, but but here only has two chillies out of a possible four on the menu, so accurate on that front, but we should have chosen something else with a bit more kick. Sadly we won't be returning.

Went for dinner for 1st time on Friday, really enjoyed it, been looking for a good local curry place for a while and I will definitely go to Ganesha again. Very friendly staff and good service, recommend the biryani’s!

Amazing and number 1 indian restaurant at Bristol city, The staff people are so friendly especially the guy name “Dhananjay” he’s playing extremely good role and we had been served and treated really good manners Thanks and appreciated Dhananjay and team these are lovely staff and food is mouthwatering must must recommended to visit at least once in a week to taste that authentic and real indian food We tried rest places but highly disappointed with the service, food quality and staff however this one is exceptionally good and beyond our expectations i must say that this real and authentic Indian restaurant so far we find out in United Kingdom Must try and visit this place . We tried accidentally for out baby believe me for next 3 days we ordered our lunch and dinner from this restaurant only Must try and thanks to Dhananjay he’s really good person to meet at there.

Very friendly server who did his best. Good was ok, but nothing to write home about. All in all an enjoyable experience, but the food as mentioned was just ok. Also, we ordered the spiciest dish, which was not spicy at all.

This was by far the most delicious Indian food in Bristol I have had! The staff are so lovely and helpful with suggestions on what to order! The food was outstanding! YUM my partner had lamb and said it was succulent and perfectly cooked. I had a veggie pannier tikka masala and was so so happy with it! We will be regulars for sure!

Ganesha serves excellent range of indian food with authentic flavours. I was impressed with the quick service. We had Chicken samosa, Andhra chilli murg, Navratan korma, masala chips and Garlic naan. The chicken curry reminded us of home- lovely experience overall.

I’ve had food at countless Indian restaurants across the country, including Michelin starred Indian restaurants, but the food at this restaurant was hands down the best Indian food I have tasted outside of my mum’s home made Indian food.
